Instead, we made the decision to travel for an hour to purchase our first Harley from Gengras and especially Brian Hurlock. Brian is a consummate sales professional, from my initial contact on the phone with him where he answered all my concerns and questions to the focused attention he spent with us on a Saturday morning. Although I think it was immediately obvious that we had already made the decision on buying a Harley and the exact model, he did not just become an order taker, but spent time on a test ride for my wife and explained thoroughly all the features and benefits. The whole purchasing experience was wonderful to be honest, including being taken around to every department and introduced to employees that I might connect with on an ongoing basis. In summary, Gengras Harley was a fantastic place, and I cannot praise Brian enough for his commitment to service and care or his customers. I wish more companies were like this. She picked out a set of Dunlop's for me then gave me 20 percent off the tires and told me there was a 60$ rebate available. I dropped the bike off at 11 am the next day and at 2 pm she called and told me it was done . The installation fee was very reasonable as a matter of fact t it wasn't worth it to take the wheels off myself . When I got home she had all ready e mailed the rebate form . I think I made a wise choice and I spent less than I thought I would.

After having the car inspected for a wrap on the top, a reputable company informed us that the car has no ceramic coating. We were shocked, so we had it looked at by another company known for ceramic coatings, and they confirmed there was no coating on the car. Both companies put their findings in writing. We called them up, and they claimed to have done the coating but had no solution for us. Understandably, we are very upset; we gave them a chance to offer a solution or make it right, and they basically just said, "we did it," and that was it. The car also has swirl marks and did not undergo proper paint correction before it was "coated." Walking out after spending $100,000, we should be 100% happy, and we definitely aren't. We feel like we were swindled. I will give two stars because the salesman and the people who gave us the car tutorial and set up were very kind and informative. However, their response to a very valid complaint is unacceptable.

Within the first 3 months the CUE system stopped working twice and only displayed a black screen. As a result, the radio, heat, back up camera, staring wheel controls, and parking assist do not work. Stephens reset the system and it would work for a few weeks and go out again. In addition, the car does not start up at least once a week where I have to continue to hit the push to start until it eventually starts. Most recently, the car has had an issue shifting into drive. Update: I still a little disappointed that I had so many issues with the car within the first few months however Stephens has gone above and behind to resolve the issue especially the service department and Bryan the service manager. I was so frustrated with the issues I hung up on Bryan when I was advised on how much it would cost. Instead of getting upset and giving up Bryan called the head office and found a program that would cover the majority of the cost. Instead of taking it personal he understood my frustration and continued to help. He called me several times to provide updates of the status and resolved the issue fully. One would not expect to have so many issues within a year after paying $30k on a vehicle. However, based on my experience with the service department I would say the issues I had were just and abnormally which happens. Based on the service and resolution I would have no problem buying from Stephens again or recommending them to others. I truly appreciate the work the service department and Bryan did to correct the issues with my car. Great guy!

Tl;dr: john at jts auto did crap work repairing a muffler last year, lied about giving a quote, did…read morecrap work installing a new, but faulty, starter which needed to be replaced immediately and over charged for parts 1 star cause John could have stiffed me on ALL the money from the starter refund My starter seized and I had it brought to jts. After john looked at it he called me but I missed the call. When I returned the call I got his mother at the front desk, cause john was out for the day. I asked about the car and she didn't know anything so I asked for a call back. Next thing I know the car is done. John requests I pay in cash, which I did, and I got the car back. It sounded horrible, and the next day 1/2 the tail pipe fell off... in the same spot that john "fixed" a year before. Anyway, my partners grandma agreed to help with this new bill if we took it to her mechanic. After grandmas mechanic had it for a few days they informed me that the starter is faulty, so we had to pay for a new starter to be installed... again As soon as I was able I brought that starter back to john, explained the issue and asked for a refund. During the very heated argJohn, that ensued john lied and said he spoke with my uncle (who was also a customer of johns) about the work that was needed. John also told me that he gave my uncle a quote. John inevitably told me he wouldn't do anything for me and so I left. A few minutes later john called back saying he would refund the money for the part assuming it was the right starter. So I brought it back but before I handed it to him, I took a picture of the pertinent information. During the long weekend I had some time and so I looked it up on orielys website (where John said he got the part)... it was selling for $141.99 but john charged me $233.50+ tax. He ended up giving the money back, which I do appreciate, though he still withheld the $15 in sales tax  he charged  I went back and forth on writing this, after all, this is jts livelihood... but if he did this to me I can only imagine he's done it to others...
