    Pierogis

This is our second visit and we are glad we went! The atmosphere inside is so nice, service was super friendly. We had the cucumber Collins drink, and it blew us away. Super good. We got the pierogi's and the fried chicken sandwich. Pierogis were so good. One complaint though is it said "prosciutto" in the description and there were literally 4 tiny cubes of prosciutto bits so that felt a little bit cheap. I also didn't expect them to be deep fried, but they were so good. We also shared the fried chicken sandwich which was super good, loved the chicken and the breading. I think it was missing the hot honey but it wasn't too much of a loss as everything else on it was so darn good. The biggest reason I have to knock it a star is that it is SO loud. It's a nice place, but it'd be hard to want to go for a date night because of the noise.

First time to this restaurant and I don't know why I haven't been here before Totally worth the trek out to St Michael to this lovely farm to table restaurant We had the best server Devan- so friendly and knowledgeable and knew how to give the best service and divide the bill up between couples without us having to ask!!! The dinner was great- all 6 of us ordered different entrees and enjoyed them all Cocktails were great, I really enjoyed the little sippers , basically a tasting of 6 different ones! Dessert had few choices but the chocolate cake with the coffee ice cream was hit- !

The vibe in this place is still fabulous but I feel their prices don't match the quality of the dishes any longer. I know Covid really hurt restaurants in many different aspects... it's unfortunate. Their cocktails are still awesome but I just didn't love the chicken I ordered. It seemed to have a pre-made taste - like I got the last one of the night and it was dry/rubbery. Lacked flavor too. Bland. For the cost, it just was disappointing. Their menu needs an overhaul. I still haven't gotten over the removal of the schnitzel from their menu. It was so so good. Great, balanced dish.

They do have a parking lot. We debated between two places close to each other. We ended up here. The happy hour menu was really fun and my favorite part. I did enjoy my bowl as well simple because I love beets. HH menu - Tennessee hot fried pickles ! Yes please. Duck bacon wantons - they are from maple leaf farms. Same as the state fair, and various other restaurants use them in the twin cities. Fries were mid. I got the Grain Bowl for dinner with salmon. It was okay. I loved the addition of beets but it was missing some flavor.

Had a great experience. The food was excellent along with the service. Limited menu but everything we had was tasty. The French dip was excellent with just enough horseradish sauce.

I thought after so many years I should update my review of Main Street Farmer. We have eaten here infrequently since our first visit. It seems the menu has taken a little different direction, and I consider it for the better. I ordered the molasses glazed tri-tip w/ corn bread and coleslaw. It was very good! My wife had the Frenched chicken and she loved it. She said she would lick the plate if she could. The place was lively and fun. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I am upgrading my review, as this experience was much better.

Main Street Farmer is one of the top spots in the Northwest outer Metro offering farm to table craft food and a great selection of drinks! The menu changes quarterly with specials peppering the menu frequently. Family favorites include: hot nashville and the chicken sandwich, various burgers, pressed chicken or flat iron steak. mushroom risotto, bourbon meatloaf, the fresh fish as well as some amazing salads and sides including brussel sprouts and some crazy good fries. They have two private rooms for 12-15 that separate from the main dining room and their bar is pretty awesome for a small city! Reservations are a must and always ask the staff to help if you are new they are great! Well done Main Street farmer... you make living in the burbs palatable.

    Autumn Ancient Grain Bowl

We had never tried this place, we were actually on our way to Chipotle and decided to stop. They have a really decent mock tail lists which is impressive. Those of us that don't drink are often forgotten! They have a seasonal menu but what I ordered was so delicious Autumn Ancient Grain Bowl. The only complaint was we waited a significant amount of time bc our server forgot to put our order in. It was a gorgeous night and we were outside, so we were not upset. She was very apologetic. We only got an "I'm sorry", I would have hoped they would at least comp our mock tails.

Tries hard to be hip but the food is over cooked and hence dried out. The flavors fall flat with an over reliance on onions.

My wife's grilled prime rib was also remarkably flavorful, and both dishes were cooked to perfection. We chose to dine here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. We finished with a Lava cake and a bowl of wild rice to go. The best part of the meal was the Guidos pizza and the sweet potato fries and the ice cream with the lava cake. We ordered a little more than we normally would so that we could try several different things... regretfully so. It was good but it could have been much better. Service was decent, and the ambiance inside was as to be expected for a restaurant, not too loud but not quiet enough for sensitive ears. The outside bar building is my favorite place to sit. All in all, not my favorite but also not the worst place you could choose.

On this lunch outing, we were with our daughter and cozied up to the counter. Linda's often has a line waiting for a table. My wife loved her French Dip, and our daughter said her Eggs Benedict was fantastic. I was excited to see liver and onions on the menu, but alas, it was beef liver and tougher than a junk yard dog. Service was fun, professional, and accepting. I came from a meeting and was wearing a stylish, trendy suit, not the usual attire at Linda's. However, I was dealt with just fine. No one gave a rip. We figured most places would be busier because it was the day after New Year's Day. We waited just under 15 minutes to be seated. The staff did the best they could to accommodate each party that came in, while moving through the line to fill tables quickly. I will say the café is on the tighter side. The booths are small, and the tables...well, they're kinda on top of each other. A couple who frequents the café recommended we try the "Fritter Toast". It comes in three flavors. We ordered the blueberry and let me tell you, KNOCK OUT! I wish I had only ordered that! I did order a breakfast special and it was okay. Nothing out of the ordinary for a breakfast joint. The food came relatively quickly and the portion size was big! Especially the pancakes. I will say, and other reviewers say the same, if you're looking for a small town feel, with friendly staff, Lindas' has some work to do. We didn't feel welcomed. Some of the staff were down right crabby and standoffish. If we don't go back, I won't be sad. But, I will need to figure out a way to get my hands on the fritter toast.

Amelia, our server, was terrific! Accommodating, friendly, and welcoming. Patio was busy but she got to us! Enjoying a 1/2 price bottle of wine and appetizers. Steak bites were perfect, asked for medium rare and they delivered: tender and so good. However, the fake onion rings on the steak bites could seriously get lost, keep the sautéed onions and peppers, bechamel sauce. Also, their fries (the other app) are dangerously good... fresh cut, tender crisp. Consistently good. Served with a spicy mayo, which is so-so. Wine selection was fine... for 1/2 price bottle, can't complain. Pinot Noir, light yet delicious. Not super loud on the patio but is by a highway, yet fairly sheltered from noise. Recommend for a midweek patio date night. They have a decent dining room and bar. Live music events, look 'em up and check 'em out, y'all!

The service and kitchen timing were unbelievably slow. Several tables around us were also clearly frustrated by the delays. I've honestly never waited almost two hours for food, especially for a pretty basic breakfast. When the food finally arrived, it wasn't worth the wait. Everything felt very basic and under seasoned, and half of us didn't even finish our meals. It really seemed like they were completely unprepared for brunch service. They were also already out of caramel rolls, which was disappointing. Overall, a really frustrating experience between the extreme wait time, poor execution, and lackluster food.
