I cannot say enough good about this place! My wife and I are from out of town. Some friends from the area took us. We were not disappointed. The environment is cozy and inviting. The staff is extremely friendly, and the service is top notch. We all ordered different drinks and pastries. We were all very pleased with our choices. If you love their coffee as much as we did, you can purchase a bag of your favorite flavor to take home. They will even grind it for you! Amazing customer service! I placed an on-line order for a gift of a coffee loving friend on Sunday. On Monday morning Alicia called me to give an update on one of my items being out of stock. She explained they would substitute for something similar. Even though the item was higher priced they gave me the lower original price. She was so friendly and helpful. I truly appreciated the extra touch of service. I received an email shipping update when the order left and another that it was on its way for delivery tomorrow. This is a great place to relax and enjoy a great cup of coffee. I was impressed with the variety of drinks available. I enjoy having sugar-free flavorings in my coffee and they had a very nice variety. The four of us splurged and got dessert. We got two different types of dessert bars. One had chocolate icing on top with a very thick peanut butter bottom. It was yummy! The other dessert bar had a thin layer of chocolate icing on the top Karma a creamy peanut butter layer below that and a brownie layer below that. It was delicious! We cut each bar in four pieces it was huge. They had a nice display of mugs and cups available for purchase. read more

I love this place. The staff is friendly and helpful. I've had a few different drinks and they were all delicious. I recently tries the southwest salad and again, it was delicious. They have muffins, coffee cake, and other baked goods that are huge yet priced reasonably. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. I can't wait to try the oatmeal and one of their croissant sandwiches. A friend of mine loves the grilled cheese. read more

My wife and I thoroughly enjoy this little cafe and go here often. There is plenty of room to relax and lounge while enjoying their diverse assortment of coffee. They have light meal options as well, like salads, soups, and sandwhiches. The prices for these meals tend to be a little high but the quality is worth it. There are soups of the day (I recommend their white bean chili) and their Ceasar salad is very good to (I add grilled chicken on mine to make it more of a meal). Their sweet tea is quite delicious as well! Tons of flavor options to create and the staff is very friendly. They have a chalkboard wall with a question on it every week like, "what are you doing for spring break?" that customers can answer. It's a great place to go to study, meet with friends, read, or anything else if you're looking to enjoy a different atmosphere. I highly recommend checking it out. read more

I have tried main street several times passing through nappanee and it always takes forever to get an espresso. The Batistas are extremely slow and seem to get flustered when just a few people are in line. I want to support the local business, but I can't wait 20 minutes for a coffee when I'm just driving through town. I know things move a little slower in small towns, but main street takes it to another level of slow. Show a sense of urgency and get systems put in place to get your drinks out faster and I will stop several times a month for my caffeine fix. read more

Updating a review from 2018, Main Street coffee is just ok. There is so much good coffee available in the U.S. that if you don't mind paying shipping costs, I've decided that Main Street just isn't that special anymore. (I've had so much great coffee from around the country). If you're in the area, yeah stop in. They are decent. But no longer outstanding. This is based on a visit we made 8/24/19. Long wait, our White Chocolate Mocha's lacked something. We were finished with our pastries way before our drinks were brought out to us......To be fair they were extremely busy. But there seemed to be confusion behind the counter. Also purchased a pound of Jamaican Me Crazy. I had high hopes as this is a flavor I had not tried here before. With family the next morning we were perplexed as it had no flavor. The coffee was flat. Next cup was made stronger but was just as disappointing. Used to be our happy place. We won't be driving a half hour no longer to have a nice cuppa here once a month. read more

I had drove past this place a million times and it always looked cozy and some a great atmosphere from the street that I couldn't wait to try it out. I have only been there once and it was everything I expected. The staff is so helpful in making exactly what you want and they have over 35 different flavors to choose from! They even brought my coffee to my friend and I in over-sized coffee mugs. The drinks were to die for. The place wasn't as big as it looked from the outside, but there were plenty of over-sized couches and tables and even a fireplace! I keep telling my boyfriend about this place and I hope to go there really soon! read more

We came in this morning to sullen faced employees who begrudgingly told us about the menu. There was only one other person in the place so it was not like they were stressed. I asked where their cinnamon rolls were that were on the menu and she said they were in the back, not bothering to get one for me to see. I ordered decaf coffee that was so weak it looked like tea and only lukewarm, so I ordered a latte instead, which was good. I would like a smile and a nice greeting at 6:30 in the morning to start my day, this is not the place to come if that is what you hope to have. read more

For Nappanee it is a great place to hang-out and relax. Super friendly staff. Convenient location. Delicious desserts, free wifi, coffee good ... not the best. I prefer Starbucks [at Martin's] and Refinery Cafe coffee [ served at NMC & Rocket Science] much more. read more
