Driving along Main St Chula Vista & saw the sign for smog test $34.95 plus certificate. Walk-in the office and someone is there to attend my needs. A young guy came to approached me and he greeted me with a smile. Nice gestures! Asked if i can walk-in for Smog test and he said, yes. Giving him 2 thumbs up for his gestures! Very welcoming and pleasant to talk to.Also, they have clean work area and very neat & organized office. Not to mention, their price is very competitive for a $40. Most of the SMOG center charges at $50. Highly recommend to everyone who needs SMOG TEST. read more

Would not recommend this place. The only reason why I gave it any stars is because I passed the Brake and Lamp Inspection. Employees at this location will most likely be on their phones until the owner or boss show up then will start working. I observed them for two hours and the cars at this place just sat without any work being performed while there were at least two employees present. read more

After being treated so poorly in the customer service area, I gave them a 3rd try, this time mr Gil help me, I was very upset from the previous time. But he was a massive difference, helpful and very nice. Thanks Gil. I did send my brother and another two friend to get services done with him. I will be back for future smogs and different services with them. The sign CLEARLY states M-F 830-6pm. I came at 850. NO ONE was there. I called many times. Doors were locked. I waited over 30 mins and still no one. I only wanted to go here because it was $30 online. Cheaper than all the other places around. I gave up. Found another shop next door and they saw me IMMEDIATELY before I even got out of the car. Don't go here. A customer shouldn't have to wait if you the sign clearly states what time you open and close. read more

Worst place ever! They don't have good customer service! I took my 12' Malibu LT(which has No issues) to get a regular smog and the guy said he didn't want to run it because "it's not ready" and to "drive it more". I waited a few days came back and a second guy took my keys and said he'd run it but did not even turn on the car or moved it. He came back in 5 minutes and said "drive it more", it's "not ready" to be smogged. I took it to another spot and they did it in 10 minutes and it PASSED. So fuck this shop. Came here to get my car smog'ed and to get a brake/light test certification. Not sure about the other negative reviews but there is another smog shop next door and they sell pretty ghetto. But this place is legit. They don't try to rip you off. A few bulbs were out and he had them in stock so he replaced them so I can pass the light test. Recommend ! read more

He told me he was very happy with the customer service provided by Gilbert and his two technicians. The workers were quick and very polite and my brother was very happy with their prices and quick turn-around. Gilbert was very honest and informed you if he noticed any obvious issues before performing the complete inspection. Before i took my car to do the brake and light inspection here I had my machine makes sure the night before my car was going to pass. My machine has been working on my familys car ever since i was little ! He change everything that need to be done since i did have a light out. Came here the next morning and told me that it didnt pass because my headlights was broken when it wasnt ! Took it to Serigos Repairs in El Cajon right after (when i should have in the first place) and paid $87 and it passed like nothing ! This place was only $50. Was trying to save money but wasnt worth the headache and more money they were trying to make me invest ! read more
