Today I was pleased to experience first hand the Owner and employees who provided "Excellent and professional" service. I'be known the owner for going on 20+ years. He's a professional, always courteous and friendly to converse with. He processed my vehicle and treated it with extreme care. He knows what he's doing and will give you honest service at an honest price. I arrived perplexed at what my vehicle could've cost if it failed the smog test. Instead I left with a peace of mind knowing that it was safe to operate under state laws. GREAT BUSINESS!!! I'd recommend this Smog Test Station to any one. It's a win-win scenario for all customers. It's my go to Smog Test Station hands down. read more

I had to get my smog done and it was total last minute. I had a smog place in mind to go to but it was quite a ways from me and like I said it was last minute. I called SD Smog and his quote was very fairly priced. I headed down there and there were about 4 cars ahead of me. Even so I was done in less than 30 mins. And he made sure to mention another engine issue I was having that he caught. Very kind, honest gentlemen, I'll be sure to return with my other vehicles. I hope my review helps his business bc he deserves it. read more

I'll be bringing all my cars here from now on. Brought my civic in today after calling around to find a place that took American Express. The guys were friendly and well organized. I had my two young kids with me and it wasn't a problem because i was in and out in like 15 minutes. read more

Was looking for a reliable Star Smog Station, looked at Yelp reviews and Google reviews. Saw all 5 STARS for this place and rightly so....Carlos who runs the place is Absolutely Wonderful and so nice and Professional. My Hubby and I brought our car in...just like the other reviewers Fast...Reasonably affordable and Friendly service. I Highly recomend this Star Smog Station...the place is alittle hidden it's in the same location of the Glass windshield place...they have their own Area for the Smog checks they are completely separate business from the glass place. Carlos use to be at the Smog station on Beyer by the Old DMV...definitely bringing my cars here from now on! read more

Our go-to smog place. Despite what the business title says, it is STAR certified. The owner is extremely fast and friendly. I wouldn't trust my cars anywhere else. In addition to excellent service, there are always plenty of parking spots and comfortable seating within the facility to wait for your car. If you're looking for a stress-free smog check experience, come to San Diego Smog! read more
