Benny has had this disease for years and have put him on this steroid in the past but soon learned it was wreaking havoc on his liver. He lost weight, hair, getting sick and was not himself. So we quickly got him off that. This new staff put him on this steroid again disregarding my ex's concern and argument that it caused him to be sick in the past. They told him there was nothing to worry about that it would be fine because the frequency and timeline would be shorter. It wasn't fine. He started to lose weight and hair again so he stopped giving it to him, leading up to his vet appointment but it was too late. Our baby died because of this vets incompetence. Please choose a different vet office, I don't want this to happen to anybody else's baby.

He was gentle and concise while outlining our choices. My husband and I had already decided that we didn't want her to suffer if her prognosis wasn't good. We decided to euthanize her and the doctor was respectful of our decision. The rest of the staff were likewise respectful and caring. They were all non judgmental by letting us choose to leave her in their capable hands. I just could not watch her die. Later, they sent us a condolence card. I thought that was very kind. This is the second time that I had to take a very sick and dying old cat to them. I remembered how the doctor did not pressure us into costly tests and therapies at that time. That differed from another vet office in Novi who wanted us to hospitalize the cat. I appreciated Millpond's pragmatic and reasonable advice at that time and at this time.
