Just had a delicious dinner here. Food was outstanding and very generous servings. Ate on their patio and would highly recommend it.

Brought my family here they came to visit I had been here before and the food was OK we had a party of eight. Ordered our breakfast I didn't even recognize the food and the portions were terribly small I was thinking maybe because they had to make a breakfasts they cut down the portions to cover ground even the pancakes were dry I've seen too much of this I have to say the service was bad the food was bad and the attitude when I mentioned how I felt about the food was not well received if I could give this zero stars I would my money will never be spent there again read more

We come here once in awhile with our friends on Friday for lunch. Usually on a Friday we order the Clam Chowder soup and salad; it's so delicious. We also like the sandwiches made with fresh bread. There are so many different sandwiches to pick from. My wife likes the Highway 50. The staff is very friendly and they have great service. We never get tired of coming here. read more

Covid-conscious folk may feel uncomfortable eating here. One server wore her mask below the nose the whole time. Another (possibly the owner) had hers pulled down completely. As far as the food, I felt I could have made a better version of the meal at home. I'm aware Fallon is no foodie destination so it's quite possible this is the best place in town. Very good breakfast in a very pleasant atmosphere. The salsa verde was outstanding. The espresso shot was generous and strong.

I went back and ordered the grimes point again, without lettuce and tomato and a side of au jus, to go. The service was not any better than the last time. It just doesn't feel friendly. When I got home the sandwich had lettuce and tomato on it, so I called to let them know my order was incorrect. Can you believe that I was only offered a 10% discount on my next order? I am just flabbergasted. I will do this one more time, get my 'discount' but even the food is not worth the lack of concern this business shows for it's customers. 1. You must order at the counter, no table waitress. But no big deal. 2. The food was very slow getting to the table. Maybe not enough employees? 3. Breakfast was good, but slightly cooler than the temperature I was expecting. Maybe because it sat there when they were making my wife's breakfast burrito? 4. We ordered water with our meal. It came only when our slow food arrived, even when the employee/owner kept walking by whispering to herself, "water". 5. We rolled into Fallon after four days on the road. Unlike most road food we encountered, our food here was fresh and delicious. No fried food, just wonderful soup, salad (I had the one with blue cheese and cranberries) and sandwiches. The artichoke bisque was the soup of the day and it was light and flavorful. Where did she get microgreens in Nevada? I'm wondering if Susan has a garden. This was the best road food we encountered and much appreciated after days of eating crap. Service was slow, and people that came in after us got their food before we did. After being seated, we waited and waited to be waited on. After we saw the people who came in after us get there food and we didn't even get our order in, we upped and just walked out. We enjoy their food, but it's not worth the wait. read more

Great little restaurant with a good mix of sandwiches and salads for lunch (mostly healthy) and breakfast served all day. Staff is very friendly and service is great and fast. This place prompted me to write my first Yelp review. Stopped at many places on the way from AZ to WA and back, and this was my favorite. They hand you an already warmed cup to get your coffee. This is the first place that I've seen do that. The coffee was was kept fresh and tastes good, no bitterness. The homemade corn tortillas are exactly that and taste so good. I had the Combo #2 and the breakfast tacos and the green sauce they give you is addicting! The inviting decor inside surprised me (for the area) and the outside seating area is just as comfortable. we had super scrumptious meals last night. i ordered the poke tuna (marinated tuna/soy garlic sauce/smashed avocado/crispy fried wonton ($11) and elk sausage and shrimp flat bread (caramalized onion/baby arugula/gorgonzola cheese/garlic cream) (14) - both were so delicious. the poke tuna starter was loaded with fresh tuna cubes and very generous servings of avocado, the soy garlic sauce was finger-licking-good!!!! and the flat bread was out of this world!!!! loaded with sausage and shrimp - very fresh ingredients!!! my husband had the king organic salmon (grilled salmon/creamy sweet corn/wild arugula/sun-dried tomato/herb lemon vinaigrette) ($24) the salmon was perfectly cooked and still moist and the creamy sweet corn was amazing!!!! our waiter, Saroj, although was busy, found the time to chat with us and made us feel so special! we noticed when one of the customers could not find the restroom, although he was attending another table, excused himself and literally ran down the stairs to walk the customer towards the restroom! it was evident that he loved his job! the hospitality industry needs more people like Saroj!!! read more

One of the BEST places to stop at when in Fallon. I was stationed here for three years and Main street was a primary lunching spot! The Gobbler is outstanding along with the blue steak salad. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and enormous! Only attempt if you are hungry and looking for exceptional taste. You can't go wrong when you eat here. Susan, the owner, is awesome and is very creative. Highly recommended for lunch and breakfast. Susan started dinners on the weekend when I left, but I haven't been yet. I can only assume they are as fantastic as lunch and dinner. read more

It's a nice atmosphere but our experience was less than great. We first enter and met by a friendly server who said you can sit inside or out. We said, we will sit outside she said go ahead and choose a table. We settle in to our table and a few minutes later a waitress approaches us and promptly said "do you have reservations" we didn't, so she told us to move to another table which was very unprofessional both in the way it was asked and the fact that we were told to choose an outdoor seat to begin with. We find a new table and place our orders. First we ordered an appetizer of French fries they came out cold which isn't a good first impression, and literally McDonald's serves better fries. We get our food, wife ordered a t-bone cooked medium, I ordered salmon. my salmon was good but the vegetables did not taste good at all. Her t-bone was as thin as carne asada and cooked well done, it tough as a shoe. Not to mention as soon as our food came out there were 50 flies that came with it, it was a full time job swatting flies off of our food which isn't necessarily their fault. I would recommend not sitting outside. Food was mediocre service was good enough but not great. For two very disappointing meals we spent 72 dollars. We watched the table we had originally sat at sit vacant our entire meal. As we were leaving we finally observed some customers wonder in and freely sit there without direction or reservations. We won't come back if the food was great the other issues were easily something we could overlook but combined it was quite disappointing. read more

We were disappointed. The steak on my salad was over cooked, even for my tastes . The caramelized onions were minimal & not really caramelized, just a sauté . The greens were nice & the dressing bland. My husband had a burrito . The beans tasted like canned & not much meat. The tortilla was not well heated. The focaccia bread was dry. I would rather have been down the street sitting at a nice table, being served for the same price. My other pet peeve is not much selection for kids menu. I get tired of paying full price for an 8 yr old who cannot eat an adult meal. The overall value is not there. read more

Great spot! Their fire pit and patio just opened for the Spring - perfect for going with friends and sharing bottles of wine with friends. You can get buckets of beer for the patio or if you buy a bottle of white, they give you an ice bucket. We have gone to the wine tastings in the back room of the cafe several times and it's perfect for Fallon or those passing through! Also-the appetizers are awesome- our favorite is the cheese board or potato skins. read more
