I have some amazing photos and incredible memories. One of the biggest reasons we chose this venue is because of the event coordinator Elaine. She is their best asset. She helped us plan every detail. She offered suggestions and advice as we needed if. She was always available and prompt with responses. She stayed from the time the girls arrived to get ready until late at night until everyone had their last drink. She made sure our night went perfect. We knew once we met Elaine we wouldn't have to worry about a thing. She is wonderful. The rest of the staff the worked at the event were excellent. They were fun, engaging, polite and friendly. They led the electric slide during some dancing. They also worked incredibly hard while they were chatting with us and all of our guests. They were always asking can I get you anything. They all went above and beyond during the entire night. The food was great. We had lunch while getting ready. It had sandwhiches cheese fruit chips and drinks. This was just the fuel we needed before a busy day ahead. Lori even came in to greet us and ask how everything was going and made sure we had everything we needed. During our cocktail hour we chose some apps that were yummy and perfect for while people were mingling. The meatballs and spring rolls were excellent. The cheese and olive tray with fruit and cheese were great The meal we chose was buffet style with steak tips, teriyaki chicken, carrots, mashed potato and dinner rolls. The salad was served at each table. The food was great lots of flavor and served hot. This is a fabulous location with so much to offer. Everyone there is wonderful. A winter wedding is hard to plan, celebrating Maine's finest. Laura's catering is a one stop shop. Our party was small, comparatively, 48 guests. A perfect menu, perfect venue, perfect bar service. The table settings were gorgeous. Communication was great. All of her staff were lovely, easy to work with and FUN! From the raw bar to the wedding cake, everything was exactly what we wanted and more. We got wonderful feedback from the guests on the whole event, especially her emphasis on procuring locally sourced food, and how beautiful the venue was with her table settings and arrangement of the space. This is an attractive venue with a lot going for its. It holds just 800 people so there aren't…read morereally many bad seats that I could see. We were in the rear of the first floor orchestra section and it was fine. Parking is fairly easy to find, even during Christmas shopping time like when we went. They are trying to do the right thing currently during Clovis, requiring masks and proof of vaccination. Of course they can't do much about the losers who take them off once they sit down. They made an announcement, but you can hardly except volunteers to go around and enforce the rule and risk a scene with a yahoo. I only had a minor beef with them when we went: our show started 20 minutes late . There was no obvious reason as attendees had stopped coming in. Normally I wouldn't have cared, but it had started snowing earlier and I would have preferred to hit the road sooner and gotten home before midnight. It was a stressful drive, but that wouldn't prevent me from attending another event -- perhaps not in the dead of winter, though!
