Six doctors and neurologists before I saw her had a litany of concerns about me and pointed out long-term issues I would suffer. Even though I saw 6 doctors already, workman's comp requested for me to see Dr. Glass. Dr. Glass attempted to mock me, asked if I had a lawyer and tried to discredit my injuries. Some issues were unbeknownst to me and diagnosed by a neurologist. I was found 100% disabled after seeing her, which was 8 years ago. If she is an upstanding/credible doctor, why was I found to be 100% disabled? All of the specialists, doctors and neurologists I have seen since Dr. Glass have the same concerns as the first 6 doctors. She is the only doctor, if that's what you can call her, out of over a dozen doctors who failed to see the medical concerns. That makes her a fraud. She behaved unprofessionally and in an unethical manner. If workman's comp requests for you to go see her, deny and request an unbiased doctor instead.

I'm 51 years old and moved to Bath just over a year ago after vacationing here for twenty-five years. I haven't had a cavity since the 4th grade maybe because I get my teeth cleaned and brush. My daughter went to Dr. Cook and was happy so being due for a cleaning I scheduled an appointment. The office is just off Washington Street with lots of parking. The lobby is very nice and folks seem happy, professional and polite. Because I haven't had any dental issues as an adult I asked if we could skip the initial x-rays or if they could contact my previous dentist an obtain my digital records. To their credit they did contact my previous dentist and my x-rays were a few years old (even if you have perfect teeth you should get x-rays done at least every three years) so I begrudgingly agreed to redo them. The procedure took roughly 30 minutes, was uncomfortable and it seemed like every tooth was imaged individually. During my cleaning Dr. Cook popped in for a few minutes, said I didn't have any cavities, some old fillings would likely need work and I would need a two appointment cleaning and left. I asked the wonderful hygienist (she is also a private pilot and we connected over the common love of flying) if she would finished up assuming I wasn't coming back in a week. At the reception desk I made an appointment for the following year and said I wasn't coming back for the additional cleaning. A week later I got a form letter saying that "we were not a good match" and telling me to find another dentist. WTH? My hygienist was awesome and I had just spent $390 bucks to get an initial exam and cleaning but I wasn't welcome back? Having a form letter, seemingly ready to go and unleashed after meeting someone for three minutes didn't seem right. In my line of work I too have easy, difficult, profitable and non-profitable clients. I don't get to pick and choose "for whom I bake a cake for." My hope is Dr. Cook will read this and change her mind and see me again or at least tell me what I did wrong.

I had an eye exam which was great and professional, and then brought in frames to have Beau Eye Care make lenses. They tried to make and remake the lenses 3 different times, each time making really large mistakes in measurements and fabrication that caused the focal point to be off to the point i couldn't even look through them. I finally got a refund and took them to Maine Optometry, who got it right out the gate. Wasted 3 trips, hours of re-measuring and a total of 3 months waiting for all the re-do's.

This place infuriates me…read more The last two/three times I've gone to them, had my contact exam, and ordered contacts, I've been very low on contacts and let them know this. I also haven't had a car. So, I pay an additional $9 on top of the crazy contact cost to have them shipped to me. Every single time they've told me to expect them to get to me in 4-5 business days. And every single time, it's two weeks later, I'm out of contacts, and I don't have them yet. The first time I called asking, they said whoops, they've been sitting here for a week and a half. They finally shipped them and I got them a couple days later. This time, it's been 15 days. I called at day 13 asking what was up. They put me on hold, then straight up lied to me and said they were out for delivery and would be there in a few hours. Two days later and they're nowhere to be found. No updates. I'm paying $9 for shipping and the contacts sit there for weeks until you literally call them and ask what's up. Now I'm out of contacts, and very frustrated. I know this is basic, but what the f***? I've been with them for 4 years, since I moved to Maine, and I have always been amazed at their professionalism, kindness, and sensitivity to my needs. The office is physically welcoming and calming, and all the staff work so well together. Scheduling is well-communicated, and I have always been seen in a timely manner, even in several more urgent situations. I don't know how Dr. Goding does it!.....he moves seamlessly amongst several patients at once, yet he always arrives chair side with cheerfulness and friendly talk before he begins. Gentle touch, never hurried, with very current, up-to-date equipment. From cleanings to root canal to extraction, my experiences here have always had good outcomes, with my comfort definitely a high priority with these folks. I knew Spectrum took my insurance, but no point did anyone ever talk finances or expected costs with me before or during my treatment. The actual PT care was fine, but after 3 sessions, I felt like everything I was doing there could have been done at home (no specialized equipment was used yet). When the charges came back at around $300/visit (roughly an hour long each), I could not afford to keep going. I had no idea it was going to cost that much per visit. I would say that if you have really good insurance or a low deductible, go for it because the staff are friendly and seem to really know their stuff. But, If you have a high deductible or no insurance, I'd seek elsewhere, as they were not transparent at all about their charges.

Series of questions asked and answered. There is a young man set up at the front taking care of all these protocols. Then waiting area is nicely spaced. While waiting for my therapist I would watch the same young man from the front door go over and clean and sanitize gym equipment stations. He would flip a sign on each piece to show it had been cleaned. Bryan is my physical therapist. Very friendly. He spent a good deal of time getting to the root of the injury and finding the right ways to strengthen and improve my shoulder. He gave me home exercises to do until I return and advised to not over do it.

Anyway, they took fantastic care of me after that. We finally did the tiny corrective procedure I needed and the doc was not shy about scheduling as many follow ups as remotely necessary. I even canceled the last one since everything was fine. I've been happy with the results since. Should have amended this a while ago. Bottom line: I'm glad I did it, but I can't give full marks because of my particular extended experience that probably isn't common.
