First of all I want to thank you to Joe Rush for asking me to give his place mainLane try. Joe saw my response to someone looking for recommendations on an oil change, in Bastrop Buy sell and trade. This person asked about local dealerships as well as other locations local. When I replied in regards to one local dealer that I have used for years upon moving to the Bastrop area, and was extremely dissatisfied with my last two visits! Joe asked that I do it as secret shopper? I told him it wouldn't be for a while I had to leave town and he said no problem. I finally returned home and on July 26th I went into our location in Bastrop. They were quite busy when I asked Francis how long is a the wait for an oil change? She replied 30 to 45 minutes, it turns out that's exactly what it took. Francis and the rest of the team where awesome! I can't stress enough how great of an experience it was and with such good customer service. I recommend them highly and will be definitely be using them from here on. I live in Austin,Tx and came out to Bastrop to visit my parents and my back left signal light went out. I went to Lost Pines Auto which I've had my signal lights changed there twice and it was real busy and the worker told me we don't do any of that here. I called Bernard and Need for Speed and they said not today but yes tomorrow. I live near Mopac so I was like what do I do and I saw MainLane. I called and Jimmy said yes ma'am as long as your here before 5 something. I was told like a 45 minute wait and Jimmy got my keys and in 5 minutes or less Jimmy came in and said you're all good to go. God bless you Jimmy , you have such great customer service and you're so respectful even after a busy long day. I don't know the name of the guy that changed my bulb but thank you so much. I greatly appreciate you and Jimmy. This was my first time here and Jimmy and his friend that changed my bulb made a great impression. I highly recommend this place based on my experience. read more

I have come to Main Lane with every problem my cars have had and I have always had top notch service. All employees are extremely professional and tell me things in detail. They will notify me of potential problems that may occur in the future (not a big deal vs. serious issues) and will not pressure me into spending more than I want. For inspections they have my car done in 15 minutes and since I take care of my vehicles they always pass. There is nothing better in life than having an honest and reliable mechanic and these people are it. My entire family goes here and I tell any one I can to do the same. read more

Ask for Xavier. These folks are incredibly knowledgeable and I've known them for over a decade. I don't trust my vehicles with ANYONE else. Cars, trucks, motorcycles, trailers, ATV, mowers. They've put nitrogen in ALL my toys and have done all the maintenance things I couldn't handle myself. Perfect place to take your car. I have used them for my state inspection and then a couple months later for an oil change. I always bring a laptop so I can get work done while I am waiting. They have complementary wifi and drinks. Their small waiting area has plenty of comfortable chairs. Both times I have brought my car in, it was super fast. I didn't have to wait long at all. They never try to up sell me like so many other places have. Only place I will use from now on! read more

I went to MainLane for an oil change one day when my usual oil change business was too busy to work me in. I was pleasantly surprised. New owners and staff. The building was much cleaner and the service was professional and done with a reasonable amount of wait time in their comfy waiting room. I now prefer to go there for state inspections and oil changes. Great place! read more

First trip to Main Lane today for a state inspection since recently relocating to Bastrop. Staff was super friendly and helpful. I went at noon on my lunch break and expected it to be pretty busy, but they got me in and out in about 20 minutes, and they even had another inspection in front of me. My husband and I have been coming here since we moved to Bastrop and I can honestly say we both have nothing but positive things to say. The best thing about this place is that they really get you in and out quick and always do a great job. These guys are the best! I usually feel pretty vulnerable going to a repair shop myself as a single lady because most places try to sell me stuff I don't really need. I can concur with all the other reviews on here. Very friendly and professional staff. Had my oil changed and tires rotated and it took about 45 minutes, which is pretty much standard for that type of work. No upselling or anything like that and Jimmy, I believe it was, even told me that after 4 oil changes, the 5th one is free. read more

Easily the best place in town for inspections and oil changes. I tried 2 other places before i remembered this place. So glad lost pines was closing a bit early and jiffy lube only inspects on certain days plus i had a bad experience with them before trying to up sell. Very helpful, went the extra mile helping me. I needed a signal light replaced but it turned out the headlight assembly was not reconnected after the repair shop (in Austin) a repaired a minor dent. The crew at mainline took care of it and wrote out a detailed bill so I could send it to the Austin shop for refund. read more

I have all my maintenance and repairs done here. They have worked me in, stayed late, and always been honest. Services are reasonably priced. I have complete trust in the staff and the manager Cody. I recommend Main Lane for vehicle inspections. High volume shop but quick and efficient. They got my inspection done in a flash with good service when others in town had nothing but excuses such as broken printers and long, multi-hour wait times. read more
