It was a three bedroom with living and dinning area about 1000 square feet. He quoted $450 +/- over the phone when he got on site he said he would do it for $438 and said it would take about 2 1/2 hours to complete, the work included cleaning/shampooing all the carpet and cleaning all stains (which were verv small in size). My mother kept a very clean home and the carpet wasn't in bad shape to begin with. Eric said he was finished 1 1/2 hours into the job so I went to look at the work and right away looking to see if the spots/small stains had been removed where we discussed prior to starting and they were still there and not cleaned completely. He did remove rust spots from under the dresser legs in my mother's bedroom that we discussed, but after shampooing rust spots appeared under the coffee table legs in the living room. In my opinion there is nothing wrong with finishing a job earlie if the work is complete and done well, but in this case the worker (Eric) did finnish earlie and the work was definitely not complete. After he left l looked closer to areas of the carpet that didn't look shampooed and they were dry to the touch, they weren't even shampooed. This is why the carpeting didn't have that uniform patterned look to it because it was not completely shampooed. At a cost of $438 dollars divided 1.75 hours (he did come back for 15 minuts to clean some of the spots he missed) that comes to $250.28 per hour! That sounds to me like a great rate, if you can get it do a good job and keep your customers happy. For one more hour of his time he could have done a quality job still put very good money in his pocket and had a happy non complaining customer. 4/30/26

They quoted us a competitive price, their team showed up that same day (on time), their team guys were friendly and professional, and they removed our wet (now useless) rug pad, in addition to taking our rug for cleaning. A few days later, the company called us to schedule home delivery of our cleaned rug. They gave us a tight (30-minute) window - not one of these cases where a company gives you a 4-hour window! - their team arrived on time, and again, the guys were super helpful and friendly. You call Parker, set up an appointment for his guys to come and clean within a 2 hour window. Looking back, I should have requested some type of confirmation email/text as he provided nothing and just said they would show up. I was scheduled for Wednesday between 1-3 and they showed up 5 hours late. Parker called several times letting me know his guy would be late but by the time he arrived our building would not allow him up. We rescheduled for the following week at 1pm and when no one showed by 1:15 I called the owner and asked if they still planned to show up to clean our carpet. He seemed confused as to who I was or why I was calling and said his guy would be at our apartment at 4pm. They no showed again and did not pick up or return my calls. I don't normally post reviews but felt that I had to share this horrible experience with Parker & Sons. From my experience, this operation is poorly run and unreliable if you need your carpets cleaned within a reasonable time frame.
