we used rouzati rugs to clean our two oriental carpets. this is the first time cleaning for both, and we talked to the owner about our concerns and he was great. the carpets were picked up by his employees who were careful and professional. we were in no hurry to get them back, and rouzati was aware of this. they delivered them and rolled them out in each room--asking about dark/light placement (which i thought was super cool) and except for a slight smell from the cleaning which didn't last too long, the rugs looked fabulous. i'd definitely recommend the company and will use them in the future! :) read more

I recently reached out to Rouzati as I had a rather difficult pet stain on a very large oriental rug. I reached out to Rouzati to see what my options were, how much it might cost and how I could get this monstrosity of a rug into them. They were so helpful! Two gents came out to pick up (and later return) the rug. They helped me move some pieces of furniture out of the way (actually, they did 99.9% of it. I was more in the way) The returned rug is pristine, and I can't be happier. I live in the neighborhood and they have been incredibly helpful in helping us pick out a vintage rug. Last year we bought a large rug for our family room and a runner for upstairs and we have been very happy with the rugs themselves (pattern, condition, price). It's so much more interesting than buying something mass produced and adds a lot of character to our home. They are flexible with consignment -- they will drop several off at your house and lay them out for you. You can keep them for a couple of days before you make your big investment. After we settled on something they let me drop a check (final payment) off at the store at my convenience. They are now helping us select an entry way rug, another 100-year old tribal design. Have referred our neighbors and even my sister across the country has been looking at their rugs listed online and thinking about them. The owners are very nice and reasonable. I am a native Chicagoan but live in the D.C. area now. Unfortunately one of my beloved Persian rugs got dog urine on it after a friend's dog visited my home.
