I made an appointment online and was quoted $135 for a cut and blow dry. After waiting over 30 mins for Claude to finish with another client, a different stylist washed my hair. Another 10 mins later, Claude finally cut and styled. During this time, Claude was on his phone and seemed distracted. Not very professional. His whole process lasted 30 minutes and I did get a good cut. However, when it came time to pay, I was charged $195. Adding a tip, my process was over the top! In SF I am used to paying around $100 for a good cut and blow dry, so this was certainly not what I expected. I came in for a conditioning treatment, a haircut, and to add curl to my very blonde, fragile hair in celebration of my one-year anniversary. Instead, the conditioner you used turned my hair purple, and within a short time my curls completely fell out. I was at fashion show walking around for hours and decided I'd check out what salons were around in case someone had any appointments available because I really needed a highlight touch up. I found Claude's salon and looked him up and I was really impressed with his website so I went online and was able to get an appointment within the hour with one of his stylists. Upon arriving, Claude met me at the counter and was very welcoming and had me take a seat at one of the salon chairs. He was short staffed and it was SuperBowl weekend so he was trying to do everything all at once. He was running around like crazy but had the BEST attitude and energy. He ended up being the one to do my highlights and he was mostly concerned with preserving the integrity of my hair so he wanted to take it easy and not go overboard with bleach (I really appreciate that as someone who's had bad salon experiences and is trying to grow my hair). Poor Claude was pulled in 1000 directions but he still managed to get all of my highlights in. He used a technique I've never seen and used Saran Wrap which was super light and so much more comfortable than foil. Afsi washed, toned , and put a mask on my hair and it felt absolutely wonderful. She was so nice! Another girl (who's name I didn't catch) did my blowout and it was the best I've ever had! I have a lot of hair and she was quick and I had barely any fallout! Claude talked to me about what the next visit would entail and was incredibly informative. When he went to ring me up he mentioned that the blow dry was extra but I never asked for one or planned to pay for anything other than the bleach and tone. He instantly comped it without hesitation (which means the world to me). Claude has wayyyyyy too much responsibility resting on him and I'd love to see him have more assistance so he can focus on one thing at a time but I will definitely be going back. 10/10 read more

She took another client in the middle of my appointment & ignored me after that. i have never ever been charged for a blow dry nor conditioning treatment (i never asked for) & all I had was touch up of my streaks. I told him I wanted a few long layers and I ended up with multiple short layers in my hair. One side of my hair was thinned out and noticeably shorter than the other side. I had a scheduled appointment with the owner of the salon Claude; whilst in my appointment he proceeded to answer multiple calls on the phone and kept leaving my appointment to greet other people. The most infuriating aspect of my appointment was that I came in for a haircut a few other things which were all done incorrectly. The instructions for length I asked to be cut were not followed as much more of my hair was cut off and my curls were not taken into account.
