Majestic Gardens was perfect for my wedding. If you saw my photos, you'd see why. The Christmas lights were gorgeous and exactly what I wanted. My decor was set up perfectly, food and drinks were great, cake was out of this world beautiful and tasty. I also want to mention I was sent home with TONS of food and cake so that was a nice surprise. Would highly recommend. Don't overlook this place! Thanks everyone! read more

OMG!!! Olympia and her team hit it out of the park!! The service was top notch. Our wedding was on 11-13-21 during the day. There was nothing we needed because they truly made sure we had it all. Never an empty glass or plate.!!! All members of her staff were friendly and smiling constantly!! The room and ceremony were decorated beautifully. My best friend/older brother married his soul mate over this past weekend. Their venue was majestic Gardens. Having travelled from Queens to this location, We had shuttle service courtesy of the bride and groom to take us to and from the hotel. When we arrived, staff were waiting with trays and trays of champagne. Dont mind if i do. I was nervous for my boy, i can only imagine him! So i sipped and sipped as much champagne as my bladder would allow until we were escorted to the gorgeous magical garden where the two love birds tied the knot. My problem? Stiletto heels and fresh grass. I was oil mining the entire walk from the cocktail areas to the ceremony. I think it best for the future to include some stepping stones. Sinking into the soggy dirt in pointy high heels is not my idea of a good time. Fast forward after the quick ceremony to the cocktail hour. It was picturesque with bright blue water fountains, White collums, and bright pink floral arrangments. It made for amazing photos. The staff came around with plates and plates of snacks from bruschetta, coconut shrimp, sesame chicken, chicken/beef satay, empanadas, pigs in a blanket, spanikopita, and even crudite. The drinks were endless as well. Pina coladas, daquiris, martinis, and CHAMPAGNE. Lots and lots of champagne. Im a big fan of the bubbles so the open bar and me were best friends. I am pretty sure I consumed 2 bottles of the crisp and refreshing champagne by myself... and should note i wasnt the slightest bit drunk or hungover. The staff at majestic were also very helpful and attentive. When dinner service rolled around, we were given a choice between prime rib, chicken marsala, or roasted salmon. I chose the prime rib with had a little bit more gristle and fat than I would have liked and guessing by how many staffers came around with trays offering more salmon, chicken and beef, i think there was an excess they were trying to get rid of. All in all it was a beautiful venue and the experience was lovely. read more

Where to start! We had our wedding here 7th July 2018, and I can not put into words how damn amazing they were! From the start Olympia had been easy to work with, quick to respond, and made everything we wanted happen! My friend just got married here and I also had my high school prom at Majestic Gardens. I don't really remember it from high school, probably because it was so packed with sweaty high schoolers, not because I was drunk (unfortunately). The wedding was not as stressful as prom but I was in the bridal party so it wasn't exactly stress-free. But anyway, the bridal party was set up in a small room but the food they gave us was good. We had a waitress who was attentive at first but then disappeared. I went into the cocktail hour to get more drinks even though I wasn't sure if we were supposed to do that or not. The food was delicious. I had the filet mignon and it's a really large portion. My friend's (now) husband is a DJ and so he knows a ton of people in the business and I think they took extra care with the music and presentation of everything. Or maybe it's just always that lively and well thought out. As for the staff, they seemed nice but they didn't make place cards for the people which is a big deal and they scrambled to get them done before the guests arrived. They did get them done though so I can't really complain about that. There were a ton of food stations during the cocktail hour, both inside and outside. Outside there is a big water fountain and a really nice atmosphere for a classy party. The wedding was from 7pm-12am and somehow they kept it going at a fast enough pace that people weren't getting tired. I don't think I will have another opportunity to go to a wedding here but I suggest it for anyone looking for a reception spot. Especially since my friend's husband works in the wedding industry, the fact that he chose this place says a lot I would think. read more

My cousin cut it kind of close having a wedding in the last week of September. It was outside and unfortunately got cold quickly as the sun went down. The area was nice, but you could hear highway noise while the vows were being exchanged :-/ Cocktail hour was ok but there was only 2 stations set up with about 5 hot items at each and this kind of made long lines.There was also a 3rd cold food bar set up inside. There were tables inside to sit and eat, but the hot food was being served outside so you were cold while in line. My 25 year old girlfriend could not get served as the bar tender was trying to ID her but she didn't bring one thinking it would not be needed. I had to get her drinks all night. I thought the rule at weddings was if you can see over the bar (or if your taller then the bartender like she was) you get served....wtf. When the party moved inside there was the bartender from outside and a new bartender. They made drinks completely differents....as in 1 made them strong and 1 made them weak. I'm not the guy who complains about a drink being "too strong" so I was fine with just going to that guy all night. Everyone else appeared to be into his drinks as he had a much bigger line and much fuller tip jar. Main course: Chicken Marsala - I didn't have any and nobody at my table ordered it because who the hell orders the chicken at a wedding Prime Rib - I finished my cousins and it was cooked perfect. Crab Stuffed Flounder - This is what I ordered and while the fish was cooked well and the stuffing was moist it was waaaay too salty. I thought it might just be mine, but when I said something about it others at my table agreed. What a shame. I can't bring myself to give my cousins wedding less then 3 stars. It was A-OK. read more

Majestic Gardens seemed great - the deal we were going to get seemed wonderful, and they were so nice! We booked in September 2008 for an October 2009 wedding, and were told that we could schedule a food tasting at our convenience to decide on a menu. If we didn't like the food, our $500 deposit would be refunded and we would be on our way. Less than a month later, my dad was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer and my grandmother, also battling lung cancer, began deteriorating rapidly. We decided to relocate our wedding to my home state of Connecticut so that my dad and grandma could be there as well as move the date to December 2008. We returned to Majestic Gardens to explain the situation - since they told us that we could have our deposit back if we didn't like the food, we figured there would be no issues. The friendly, accommodating atmosphere was gone. The manager told us that the food tasting/deposit refund was never said, and even if it were true, we would have had to done a tasting within a week of booking (we were never informed of this nor was it anywhere in their "contract"). When I attempted (for 6 months) to get in touch with Dorothy, the woman with whom I booked, she was conveniently out to lunch or on vacation. I had a contract attorney look everything over and their contract is not legal - no phone calls were ever returned by the manager, Olympia was her name, or owners. I was amazed at how cold they could really be and apparently will promise anything to get you to book your date. They are heartless, lying crooks - DO NOT BOOK YOUR WEDDING AT MAJESTIC GARDENS!!! read more

We are so glad we went to Majestic Gardens for our wedding! Everything was perfect. Olympia was always helpful and answered all of our questions punctually. Our guests kept talking about how delicious the food was. The layout of the room was one of the biggest reasons why we chose them. It was spacious so we could see everybody and they could see us. The garden areas were beautiful and filled with flowers of the fall season. The bakery associated with Majestic Gardens created the exact cake we wanted and it was so delicious with so many flavors! Our bridal attendant and maitre d' were friendly and attentive. We cannot say enough great things about Majestic Gardens! They made our day so special! read more

A beautiful location to have a wedding. The grounds are well kept and perfect for a garden wedding. The food was amazing. I loved all the different cocktail hour stations they had. Their dinner courses were much better than the typical catering menus you see at other locations. They even come around with seconds so you can try something else. I came to a wedding here a few weeks ago and it was fantastic! From the moment I arrived the wedding felt like a lavish affair, with passed champagne in the lobby. The cocktail hour was magnificent, filled with specialty stations that highlighted the bride and groom's theme. One of my favorite options was the Burger Bar. The dinner was great, and we were even offered seconds, so I was able to sample some of the other dishes that were on the menu that night. The night wrapped up with delicious desserts and a deluxe presentation. The staff was so nice and I felt like a pampered guest. Even the bartenders were great! I would recommend to anyone looking to have their wedding somewhere where everyone will be treated well and be overjoyed with their experience! Everything about Majestic is amazing. We fell in love with this venue the moment we walked through the front door. First, the grounds are so beautiful indoors and outdoors. We had an outdoor wedding in the secret garden area. It had a fairy tale feel to it. Inside, the lobby, reception and cocktail areas are so pretty. I love the floral/garden painting on the walls. The team was absolutely wonderful. Olympia is so patient and kind. She was so easy to get in contact with and she would take time out of her busy day to answer any question I had to ease any anxiety I had. Martha did a beautiful job with the décor. She really understood what I wanted and made it reality. When I saw the reception hall, it was a lifelong dream come true. She was also very easy to communicate with and made the process a fun one. She even helped me with an issue I was having with my wedding dress with some safety pins! On the day of the wedding, the maître d' and wedding attendant were both very helpful. They were so professional and helped tame us and our family members to stay on schedule. They were friendly and eased my anxieties many times during the night. Even the receptionists at Majestic are professional and friendly!! I attended a close friends wedding at Majestic Gardens. My experience warranted acknowledgement. This was my first time being a guest at this wedding hall. The ceremony was held on site. The private ceremony garden is stunning. Who knew such beautiful gardens existed in the middle of the island. The landscaping was perfectly manicured and the flowers were all in full bloom. It shows that some one spends a lot of time and care out here. In addition, the fountain was the perfect spot for pictures. The bride told me it was recently refurbished. Attention to detail is an understatement. Between the outdoor cocktail hour, the centerpieces and atmosphere it was perfect! Even the food was delicious. From the moment we sat down with Olympia, to the moment we walked out of our reception , this venue was top notch, and beyond impressed us with their professionalism and attention to detail. We had full confidence in them from the start, talking us through the process (because we are new at this marriage thing) and throwing in small things such as drunken donuts, the canoli filling at no extra charge, hunting down the lavender sequin runners that were discontinued from their normal linen company, and fulfilling our requests to details on how we envisioned our day. My bridal attendant was superb, and was never too much, she understood I was low maintenance and catered to me when needed. The Matrie D was equally observant every time my husband threw his suit jacket on the chair, when he returned, it was carefully placed back on the chair. We were sent home with 4 chaffing trays of food (which is good because we were both too busy mingling to eat during cocktail hour). Everything was beautiful, stunning, and effortless. Olympia was nothing short of amazing. We also used Martha, their house decorator for our decorations, which were all done and designed by us. Martha met me close to my house and placed everything EXACTLY where we had envisioned. I could not close my eyes and imagine our day going any more perfect. For a venue that seems to not be talked about so much, it really and truly should as all of our guests were RAVING about the service, ambiance, and overall elegance this small, yet stunning, and intimate venue provided!!! We had Mothers Day Brunch at Majestic Gardens this year (2014) and I must say it was great. The food was very good, the staff was very polite and helpful. It was not over packed to the point of waiting on lines for food. Price was very fair overall. I would have no issue with doing this again and with recommending Majestic Gardens for this. read more
