When making an appointment for a deep clean, I was quoted $250 to $375. They cleaned for just over three hours. Two of us were in the room when we were told the charge was $300. When I handed her the money she said "What's this, I said $600?" I paid her the $600 plus the $65 tip I had set aside for them. My realtor says he hires maid services regularly and $600 is extremely high for three hours. I was the fool this time, but never again with them! The next day I cleaned for two hours because above the stove, cupboard fronts, and bathroom some areas were completely missed. Simply amazing. Maricruz and her team came to do a one-time cleaning of our 5-bdrm house before a party we were hosting the next day, and when they were done, my husband and I were both amazed at how spotless everything was. We've never had a cleaning done this well or thoroughly, ever. I mean everything was done, from dusting of shelves that we couldn't reach, cleaning of kitchen appliances, dusting of baseboards, removal of hard water stains on our glass shower doors. They get two stars because they showed up on time. I hired them to do a move out cleaning of a 1200 sq ft cottage. It cost me $400. I just got an email from the buyers realtor suggesting that the buyers retain $1000 Because the house was filthy. They left refrigerator drawers on kitchen counter dirty, they didn't clean the refrigerator. The kitchen counters were left with crumbs on them. I guess I shouldn't have paid them until an inspection on completion, but I couldn't be there, my wife stopped by paid them and had to leave before they were done. It looks like they left as soon as my wife was gone. I wouldn't hire this crew again, not only did I get ripped off, I need to make it right for the buyers. NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER. read more

I have been using Majestic Maids for 2+ years and couldn't be happier! I was referred to them from an ad in the ValPak flyers we receive in the mail and haven't gone looking for a service since. We don't have the budget to regularly schedule them (weekly, biweekly or monthly), but use them every 3 months and special occasions. The team is very trustworthy, thorough, and amazing; Maricruz is extremely organized, customer service oriented and accommodating. I can text her a couple of days to a week before I need the help, and she replies promptly with a schedule for me. We are commuters and have three kids, so I don't ask her to do everything (ex: kids rooms are too messy!) but our house is absolutely sparkling and clean when they leave! What I love most is they clean all the "deeper" areas then our general cleaning - so appreciate that! The dust that accrues in our stairway ceiling windows, the window sills, water spots on the shower door, the sliding door tracks -- all of those are done without mention from me and it's SO nice to see that! I'm not going to give one star simply because the communication was good and thorough .. That is until they asked for feedback and I have my honest experience. Haven't heard from them since! At initial contact they seemed professional and it was looking up! They came to my home to look around give me a quote... Ask what was important to me to give special attention to. I have had many services before so I kind of knew a standard price for my home and the way I keep it. They were a little higher in price but I thought hey maybe it's worth it. Then I found out that price does not include cleaning your oven. That's extra on top of it all. I had explained to the woman after she asked what was important to me that my floors are the most important thing that I want extra attention to!! And the sliding glass door track needed cleaning a well. Also that I wanted my oven cleaned and I would pay the extra. She took the notes and we scheduled an appt. The day of my appt the girls arrived and they were about a 1/2 hour late but that didn't bother me. I reminded them to clean my oven and even told them one of the bedrooms only needed vacuuming but not much else. I asked how long they said two hours and I left. About an hour and a 1/2 later they called and said they were done. And that they needed to leave for their next appt. I said wow ok that was fast and I was heading back. When I got home I was very unhappy with the service. First I have very expensive Japanese knifes that are on a magnetized knife rack on my granite that they broke. Second my oven wasn't cleaned and my stovetop had water spots across it like they wiped it with a dirty rag. Third there was hair I found still on my bathroom floor and spots on my bathroom mirror were they clearly didn't clean. And my living room floor there was still spots that clearly weren't cleaned. But hey!!! They did clean the sliding glass door track! They did one thing I asked! I'm not really sure if the girls were just in a rush because they were late to begin with or what. But I was not happy with the service or the price. The main woman called and emailed two times a day for feedback and payment. When I responded with feedback and told her I would process payment anyway she never contacted me again. No apology and no offer to try and fix unhappy service. Needless to say I will not be using them again! read more
