I was referred to this Nail Bar by a friend, and went to have myself spa day for Mother's Day. The location isn't all that great, but the Nail Bar is beautiful from the minute you get inside. The service was nice, staff were welcoming. I let them know what I wanted done to my hands & feet, and they gave me a price. The lady who did my nails was friendly, and offered me drinks. When I was done getting my nails & feet done and went to the front to pay, they charged me $15 more than what they originally quoted me for the exact same service on my hands . I guess they wanted to compensate themselves for the drinks, but tried to say it was because of the shape & type of nails I got? (I asked for short, square acrylic nails because I'm a new mom) It was odd, but I didn't argue it. While the nail bar and service are welcoming and amiable, they might want to spend more time perfecting their craft. It's very clean and large, with lots of massage chairs. There are also huge TV screens with closed captioning on. The service was good. One lady did my pedi while another did my dip nails. I loved the pedi foot and leg massage. Service is fast, but good. I felt relaxed the entire time I was there. They offer non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages. Upon finishing my less then pleasurable pedi-cure the pedicurist placed t "slippers" on my feet and I went to the front desk to pay. I then went back to retrieve my shoes near my chair. They had mopped the slick tile floor right next to my chair which made the floor slick as glass and I slipped an fell flat on my back. I have three huge bruises because of this. I understand that we were there near closing time but my sister was still receiving service and she would have also easily fallen due to the extremely un-safe floor next to her. While the service here was fine - nothing special - a welcome that was less than welcoming and a massage that felt like an afterthought there rush to closing while people still receiving service is un-safe and appaling. If you want your NexGen Polish change to take nearly 2 hours, then go here!! I came in to take off my old NexGen dip manicure and get new NexGen dip polish on my nails. I elected to get my cuticles trimmed as well but no other fancy manicure options ~ simply a polish change and cuticle trim. I had Julie, who clearly was new. She was very sweet and did a wonderful job on my nails... but the whole process took ONE HOUR AND FIFTY MINUTES!! There were people who came in for acrylic nails and really fancy nail services who arrived 20 minutes after me and still finished half an hour before me?? The real problem was that when I kindly voiced my concerns to the manager at checkout, he was extremely rude and informed me it was my fault since I had to also have my old polish removed?? Every other woman I saw also had old polish removed, yet everyone else was done in half the time. I am a huge believer in taking ownership when something doesn't go right, and the fact that the manager gave me attitude and was rude and unprofessional really rubbed me the wrong way. If they were apologetic and offered a discount or showed that they cared that a simple polish change took nearly 2 hours, I would be completely understanding. However, due to the unprofessional response, I will not be returning. There are plenty of other places in Fort Worth where you can also get a professional manicure... but be treated professionally as well. read more

I only got nexgen (dip polish) done because I was short on time. They had three different books of colors to choose from, which is awesome because some places only have a small selection. The people that work here are animals. a man was doing my nails and cut them to short that wasn't my fault that was his so he threw a fit and wouldn't finish my nails. I had thought about getting black nails because it's close to Halloween when I'm writing this but I thought that may be too extreme so I chose a nude pink. When told him the shape I wanted (almond) he asked me if I wanted to do black and white instead of pink. I thought what the heck and said yes, I'm so glad I did. So I've gone to this nail salon a few times, and I'm always welcomed warmly and everyone is always helpful. Unfortunately I think my most recent experience was enough to make me leave a negative review, which I hate doing...but if I can save anyone from what I just went through then I'll do it. I came in for a fill on my acrylic set of ombré pink and white...which I got done at this same salon prior. The manager at the front brought the pink powder to the woman doing my nails. As she was putting the pink over the white, I noticed you could see right through it. I brought it up to the woman doing my nails and she agreed, and took off what she had done (5 nails or so at this point). She picked a different pink herself, same thing. We repeated this step of taking off my nails and starting from scratch. Noticeably irritated, the woman is trying her best to be quick but ends up cutting me with her tool. Awkward. I tell her I'd like to stop. I can tell she really wanted to make it right and I thought okay maybe it's the product she's using...because the shape and thickness is what I asked for but the pink is just translucent against the white. So I tell her I can come back but I just got off work and I was still in my work clothes, I need to let my dog out etc. as I was not expecting to be here for as long as I was at this point. In hindsight I should've just got to a different salon but instead I went home, changed clothes and came back for them to take off the set AGAIN and fix it. (I also decide to get a pedicure since my nails would be soaking for a while) The woman apologized and apologized and I reassured her that mistakes happen and I appreciated her trying to make it right. But as she starts doing this final new set of nails I'm noticing it's not ombré at all....it's probably the worst I've ever seen my nails look. I ask her 'you're doing ombré right?' And her response is 'yeah that's why you see 2 colors' well I'm sorry for asking but I'm on my 3rd new set of nails in 2 hours and they look horrible so what am I suppose to do?! At the end she asks me if I like it and I told her thank you for trying but this is not okay. I get to the counter and tell the manager that I'm more than happy to pay for the pedicure but with my nail beds sore and bleeding at this point, I'm not comfortable paying for the nails. He says okay and gives me 10% off.....I said sir...no, I'm not comfortable with paying for these nails. He says okay and makes it 25% off... and I said no I'm not paying for this...again awkward. I'm still willing to tip her for trying but you can't honestly expect me to walk around with nails like this. And my nail beds are too shredded at this point to even go get them fixed. He asks me 'so you're really not wanting to pay for this?' NO SIR IM NOT....what is happening?! He then makes my tab about $40 (for the pedicure I'm assuming) which I tip 20% on for the man who did my pedicure and hand him cash to give to the woman who butchered my nails for a tip ($13)...but spent time on none the less. Bottom line, I absolutely should not have to ask several times to be taken care of as a customer. Anyone with sense would've taken one look at these nails and made sure it was taken care of. It was a terrible way of handling the situation. And even though this woman tried her best, this was clearly not something she knew how to do. I was not asking for a lot. And given how they looked before, I know at lease one technician knows how to do ombré bc that's what I got before. I'm just so disappointed and my nails feel like they've been put through an actual blender....so there's that. read more

I have been going to this large, beautiful salon since it opened. When Sean was the manager there was lots of happy customers and staff. Even through the first year of Covid things ran well. However since he left, staff has dwindled to the point that no matter the day or time there is always a wait. I have tried 2 times in the last 5 days.
