The pedicure was standard, nothing special, but my two big toe nails were cut at an angle. When I asked them about it, they said my toe nails grow crooked like that. I pulled up 10+ pictures of my feet after a fresh pedicure and polish to show them "no, it's just a bad job". They ended up filing them to get them straighter but now they are too short. The bigger issue is the GelX manicure. It looks awful! They look like press on nails! I went in on Saturday because I was leaving town for work on Sunday. There is a big gap between my cuticle and the polish. When I asked, the man said, I told you not to do GelX, that is just the way it is. I'd already been well over 2 hours so I just left. When I got home my husband immediately said, why do your nails look like that!? I just got back from out of town and called them to ask to speak to the manager or owner. The man says - I just work here, I don't know when they will be in. So I ask more questions and again he said- I just work here. I asked to have the manager call me but highly doubt that will happen. Every time I look at my nails, it is infuriating. I wanted fresh nails for an important business trip and I ended up with just the opposite and wasted money and over 2 hours in the process. There are several salons within blocks of this spot, no matter how important "no wait" is in the moment when you call - don't do it. It's not worth the crappy job, dirty environment and slow service. I wish I would have read the reviews first because they definitely align with my service. Now I get to go and pay someone else to fix this!

On top of that, they weren't filed into the shape I requested. By the time I realized what had happened, the only way to correct the shape was to file them down even more, leaving my nails painfully short and irritating the skin around them. The quality of the manicure was unacceptable. Several nails were filed unevenly, the polish application was messy, and the overall finish looked rushed and sloppy. I genuinely felt like they were going to let me leave with nails that looked unfinished. I finally asked them to redo one of the nails, but somehow the redo looked even worse. To make matters worse, I paid over $65 total ($45 for the manicure plus an additional $20 for Dazzle Dry), expecting a long-lasting, high-quality result. By the very next day, two nails had completely peeled off in one piece like paper, and several others had already chipped. I've never had polish fail this quickly. The customer service only made the experience worse. The woman at the front desk was rude and dismissive when I tried to provide feedback instead of addressing my concerns professionally. Between the poor workmanship, the lack of attention to detail, the polish failing almost immediately, and the disappointing customer service, this was an incredibly frustrating experience. I would not recommend this salon, and I definitely won't be returning.
