Responded quickly to my request to inspect our AC unit and home HVAC. We have been in our home almost 3 years and the builder recommended an AC condenser cleaning. Eric was our service tech - incredibly knowledgeable about HVAC. Educated me on how it all works and the system parts involved. Reasonably priced for the time and effort he put into the visit. Feel confident this company knows what it is doing!! He also did not try to sell us anything. He provided reasonable recommendations (replace an incorrect AC grill and consider a service contract) that go the office for an emailed quote. Very happy with this initial interaction! read more

I'd give them a zero if I could. They put a Bosch combi unit in our house that burns my handicapped daughter and refused to do anything but to suggest a water tank. Our water goes from hot to cold to hot to cold then stays cold unless we turn on another faucet. They kept saying the unit worked but the unit does not work in our house. The pipes coming out of the unit are 3" and they retro fitted it to our 2" pipes. We believe that's the issue, the flow rate. They put it in our house without figuring out or even knowing if our plumbing would support it. They have reduced the value of our home. There's a lot more to this story. I went back and forth with this terrible company for more than a year. I will most likely open a civil lawsuit against them if and when we can afford to pay for repairs which one plumber said would be $6000. The cost of the install was $14000. I did this for our handicapped daughter so she would have a fairly care free home maintenance future. They don't care. DO not do business with these people!!!! read more

I have great respect for this company, especially their service manager, Eric. I had an issue where my system was just not keeping temperature (set at 68 but would only cool to 74), and during the recent heat wave it did not keep my home anywhere near cool. Eric came and did an evaluation and found that the system had not been installed with the correct diameter piping to each of the units. After this error was found, the company did not try to avoid taking responsibility and made the repair without charge since the original install was not done correctly by their technician in 2019. I am an elderly woman with MS and a cool home is critical to my health and well-being. A lesser company would have hidden the fact that the install was not done correctly and charge me to fix it. I am immensely grateful for this company's integrity, especially their phenomenal technician. His honesty is a reflection of this company and should be hailed and valued. read more

I have been doing business with Majic and Joe Papasandero virtually since the inception of their business. Over the years they have installed seven Jujitsu units and have maintained them with either bi-annual or annual visits. Recently one outside unit (which is connected to two inside cooling units) failed and to sort out the problem master technician Chris was dispatched. To summarize a long and painful story Chris has, over the last three weeks visited our house nine times all the while being in constant communication with the suppliers of the unit. There were many delays and disappointments all to be laid at the feet of the suppliers of the unit. The interface between me, Chris, Joe and the distributors was masterfully handled by Debbie who never took her foot off the gas. It was made clear to me that their aim was restoration of the system to normal function and that no charges would be levied for the services until and unless full restoration and function were restored. Well, with divine oversight, that occurred today and the system, after intensive negotiations with the suppliers a eureka moment was reached. Hallelujah!! Many smiling faces in the town of Mattapoisett. My deepest thank you to Joe, Chris, Debbie and all the other team members from Majic Air whose applied themselves to a definitive and equitable solution. With Joe at the helm the clear objective was to "get it right" rather than to pad the bill. I will never use another HVAC company. I called a little before 5 pm on a Monday. They close at 4 so I left a message. At 8:30 the next morning, they returned my call and Peter was there Wednesday at 9. Wow, awesome. Due to the fact that I had no air and my Husband was being released from the hospital on Thursday, one of the hottest days of the year, they fit me in early the next morning, Thursday at 7 AM, an hour before they regularly start. Chris came over right on time and followed all Covid precautions. Our central air conditioning was not working at all after we had not turned it all winter. I will give Majic Air a review rate of 1. The crew and sales person were nice and punctual but they lacked experience and knowledge of the mini split system they were hired to install. The location of controls and thermostats were convenient for the installer versus what was best for me the customer. They installed 5 mini split. A group control was screwed on the oil boiler panel. I don't know anyone that live in a two story house that would love to go all the way to the basement to adjust their house temperature. No one asked were I would like this group control to be installed this control was later removed and holes were left on my boiler. Another example, I had requested wifi and integrated controls with my system which would required an external thermostat an external thermostat sensor. the location of the sensor was not in an ideal location for the temperature read to be accurate. When i explained the issue of the inaccurate read, they said to increase/decrease the thermostat temperature to make up fo rthe difference. The supervisor did not seen surprised, I feel this should have been explain during the installation process. I did my own research and read the instruction stating that for external thermostat installation the sensor was supposed to be 4 to 6 FT above the ground and not have been installed next to a window and away from concrete and asphalt. It is currently installed close to the driveway and above the basement hopper in direct sunlight. In addition to this during the installation, after installing wired controls to three walls, They realized that the unit they had installed was not compatible with the WIFi modules. They told me that I needed to choose between wired controls or wifi. So I chose wifi. They were unable to configure the integrated controls. I canceled this part of the order. Based on what I stated above, they obviously did not have any experience doing this type of work. Currently, after they removed the wifi modules. They failed to re-install the wired controls. The system is not working properly due to the missing wired controls. I called the office and email the salesperson but no no one has replied to me. During the installation my siding was damaged ( the sales person tried fixing it but i does no look good), My boiler has holes and I had to repair and repaint three walls in my house. I would stay away from them. I personally am not sure if the good reviews are real or if they lost all their experienced staff. My town ordinance requires a permit for HAVC installations no permit was pulled. I should have check for the permit before they started the work. After all the mistake described above. I wonder if everything was done to code. read more

I used Majic Air to fix the heater in my basement, it has been over 3 years since this heating unit has worked or been turned on. I scheduled the appointment with Debbie the operations manager, she sent Tim out to fix my unit, both were friendly, courteous and knowledgeable.
