Went to get my truck washed today. They did an absolutely horrible job. The owner was standing behind the workers rushing them to get done and get a lot of cars thru, they never vacuumed the car, didn't clean the cup wells, my windows are horrible looks like they sprayed them with amoral. Anyway had to get my car rewashed by a car wash that did a great job in Ramsey. I paid $31 for nothing will never go back,neither will the rest of my family, they just lost 6 customers who would only go there. Not sure if the person managing the carwash is a new owner, but he is extremely rude and unprofessional. I went for a wash and noticed the soap was not being dispensed properly, apparently due to sub freezing temperatures. I spoke with the service attendant at the entrance and he agreed that it was frozen and I should speak with the person at the register. When I explained the situation to him he acted as if I was making the story up. He came to the entrance and tried to say it was fine, but when I said ok then run my car through again, he asked for my ticket and just told me I didn't have to pay. Forward to today, with warmer temperatures, I decided to try them again as I had been going there for years before ever seeing this new person. I immediately asked if the soap dispenser was working properly and I was told that it was by the service attendant. I ordered my service and was given my ticket. While waiting I noticed there seemed to be a problem with the computer system that they used to put in the service orders. The manager/owner from the previous occupation then came out to help the attendant. When he was done helping the attendant, apparently remembering me, he said to me that the soap wasn't working and I should go somewhere else. I was taken aback as I had just been told it was working and it was not below freezing. Also, he was not turning anyone else away with this same claim. For the record he didn't stop taking any cars after me the time it was frozen either, meaning he only cared about the money, selling rinses, not washes for full price! After a well deserved exchange of words, making it clear that his behavior was despicable I gladly took my business to Frankie's carwash and was delighted with the service. Not to mention the fact that I got an unlimited package for the month for about $4 more than the one wash at this location would have cost me. Expensive, subpar equipment, and rude customer service. I wouldn't even give them ONE STAR - which is sad because I've been coming here for years and I've always had really decent service. Enough for me to drive from South Orange to come to Nutley to get a wash HOWEVERRR... on Sunday I brought my car there to get washed paid like over $50 bucks only to see in the end that they cracked my entire windshield !!! As I was going to speak to them about it I overheard ANOTHER patron yelling about how they cracked his windshield too !! The "manager" Mike said he would take care of it then turned around and accused us of coming in with a cracked windshield already !!! Even said he has video !!! I would love to see said video because for this to happen to TWO cars back to back is totally unreal! I'm going to ask to see this video. A recent experience at this car wash is the catalyst for this review. I recently visited this car wash even though previous visits, gave me cause for concern. I drop my vehicle off to be detailed because I was ready to sell it. The last time I use this car wash for detailing. It did not turn out so good, as a matter of fact, I could've gotten the same results from just going through the car wash instead of detailing. This time when I went to pick up the car, I barely recognized it. It looked showroom new much to my surprise. Aside from the fact that the car came out looking great I also had the pleasure of meeting the manager Mr. Joon Jong. This gentleman is one of the nicest people you ever want to meet. He went out of his way to make sure that I was satisfied with everything. And gave me the personal attention that I needed in answering some of my questions about the vehicle because he is also an ace mechanic. Bottom line is I ended up getting twice as much for my vehicle as I thought I would and I believe that's largely in part to him and his crew. This car wash has done a 180°. Oil change is quick and efficient then you drive your car back to the car wash area and they wash the car then the great people finish it off buy vacuuming, drying and polishing your car til it looks brand new. Today was my first time going here. They did a great job both inside and out. They took their time and were thorough. There was only one car in front of me, which was great, and there's benches outside for while you wait. I appreciated that i and as given coupons when i paid. I could have paid a child 5$ to a better job than this place. They didn't even touch my dashboards or other interior. They don't vacuum your carpets. Mats were thrown back into my car improperly soaking wet. I'm trying to understand what I paid almost 20$ for. When I showed the attendant my issues, he didn't even offer to fix it. I've been to many quick detail spots and this is THE WORST. I should have used Yelp first, then I would have seen their bad ratings. Believe the reviews!!!! I took my brand new VW Atlas through the car wash today because it was caked in mosquitos from a road trip. I am now kicking myself for thinking this was a good idea. The right side of my car has incredibly visible scratches from front to rear that resemble the rhythm used while drying. It is very apparent that the towel was dirty because there is no blemish on the left hand side which was done by a different employee. I am in utter disbelief and would really appreciate some help here from the owner of the establishment. I am including a picture that shows the scratches up close. I haven't been here in a while and now I remember why. While incredibly over priced they do an decent job washing cars. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for, so I don't mind paying for quality, however the girl at the front counter was incredibly rude. Grabbed my money from me and not a single pleads try from horror a thank you when I paid a whopping 12 dollars and change for a basic car wash that didn't include tire shine. This was the exact experience I had last time I was here and I forgot about it until I was reminded by the rude cashier. I've had oil changes done here before, again overpriced but hey I stopped going. I've had multiple cars detailed here before and I must say they do an excellent job cleaning interiors but did an absolutely sub par job cleaning a roadster top on a Cadillac of mine, leaving dirt all over the roof. When I inquired with the owner, they didn't offer to fix it but rather told me it was too bad. Bottom line- they offer good products, but they have absolutely awful service from management down, and for that reason I will never return to this establishment that charges top dollar and does not give that kind of customer service. read more

Never had a bad experience at this car wash. They always do a great job. It's great that my oil changes include a free wash. When I don't need a oil change I go here to keep my car looking great. I love the different options they offer to wash your car. They also vacuum out my car as a part of the service. Then it gets wiped down after the wash. Just great service. I got my oil change done today and they cheated me with extra $15 by charging me for a filter which comes with oil change automatically. The Manager Mohammed has no idea about cars and claims my car needed a special filter and put it without my permission. Just had my wife's car oil changed and washed Wasn't really sure if it was okay to get oil changed by a shop that was mainly car wash spot but I've been going there for regular car wash for few years and have been eyeing on mechanic side of place and finally today I brought 2015 Benz c300 in for oil change Justine was very helpful and other gentleman I believe he was the manager both of them were exceptionally helpful I've never even touched Benz but I'm pretty decent with jeeps and motorcycles enough that I know the basics. I've stood and watched how they prepared and changed oil. They "Hand tighten oils drain plug." That's the key man if anyone has done oil changes and dealt with "machine tighten oil drain plugs" you know the pain. Topped off all my fluids after oil change and also they use MOBIL 1 oils. Which I'm fan of. And car what's in and out . Last of it price was better than surrounding shops since I know because I'm cheap and called at least 5-8 shops before I went to major league. So give them another shot if you had bad experiences If you haven't gone there yet than try them out This might be your new go to shop It definitely is for me now. read more

During the COVID19 pandemic, prices have been raised, including a $12 oil filter fee that didn't previously exist. In addition, the complimentary wash that is received is exterior only. I understand that people are being cautious, but to RAISE your prices and provide LESS service(s) and/or charge for things previously included seems to be ridiculous. I never leave negative reviews. I believe you should always talk to the manager or owner if there is a problem. Having said that, I used to go here all the time with no problems. The service was always fast and friendly. However the last time I visited it looked like new owners/workers and they weren't very friendly. I could care less about that but I had an oil change done, and they removed my air filter to check it. I informed them I will change it myself. They didn't put the filter back the correct way and left the air box open. The only reason I noticed it was because the car was making noise and running rough. I went back a week later to have another car's oil changed, and I mentioned it to the owner/manager and showed him pictures. All he did was shake his head and walk away. No "I'm sorry" or anything.
