Nice small gym! Just come to workout and don't expect any perks. No towel service. Good A/C and TVs.

So if you're joining for basketball - stop right now and don't join! I figured other basketball lovers would want this heads up. My husband only joined 24 hour fitness because it has an indoor basketball court. He and many of his friends that he plays basketball with there also are members because of the basketball court. They are looking at leaving as well. In fact, my husband went to talk to someone at the desk about a refund since he got an annual membership (because that's how he excited he was about the basketball court, and the staff said yesterday 'everybody is upset and there are so many people that use that basketball court' -like even she's confused.) This is the only 24 hour fitness on the island (to my knowledge) with an indoor basketball court. In fact, indoor courts are really hard to find on the island. It boggles my mind that leadership doesn't understand how big-time basketball is on this island. This basketball court is always full generally of people playing basketball, but also people working out. On an island full of outdoor grass with beautiful weather with plenty of access to grass, you're gonna close the basketball court? With the current set up, people can work out indoors in the rain. Adding a turf area doesn't change that. With a current set up, people can play basketball indoors during the rainy season. Removing the basketball court means losing an important market of people who want to play basketball when it rains and during bad weather. I guess they're ready to lose a lot of members, and lose future members. It's a sad day for Oahu.

Quote was $150/week for 3 group fitness classes. 3 month commitment minimum. No showers available at the Pearl City location. $600/mo for 3 months. You're on the hook for $1800 minimum right off the bat. Hopefully this is helpful to others reading this because they don't post prices and commitment policy on their ads and their website. Maybe others are paying less but that's just way too much for group classes and a gym with no showers. I guess they deserved a star for not bugging me after I told "Coach Mel" I was too poor for it.
