The rooms are great! Spacious with a washer/dryer combo, clothesline in the shower is amazing for getting your things cleaned up before heading home! Such a convenience! The rooms were Moderna Ms comfortable, especially the bed! The bathroom was beautifully detailed. The complimentary snacks, drinks were a nice touch. The room service prices are super reasonable and the food was soooooo good! There's a lap pool, kids pool, gym, and spa. The massage was very good experience. The staff were all very accommodating, polite, professional, helpful.

When I was trying to decide on a place to stay in Manila I honestly had a hard time deciding because there are so many fantastic options. I started to narrow them down by adding more non negotiable conditions and this is the hotel that I ended up with. I reserved a 70 sq meter 1 bedroom suite with a bathtub. It was perfect for my toddler to enjoy. A nice amount of running around space mixed with luxury and functionality. We had an in unit kitchen with a full fridge and freezer. A nespresso was also used and appreciated. Because this is Asia, a kettle was ready for use as well. The unit had a walk-in closet and massive bathroom. There was a washer/dryer unit as well. This was a great suite for a family vacation. Breakfast was included with our stay. We only visited the restaurant on the rooftop deck, which had a filipino breakfast buffet. The breakfast was amazing every single day. They rotated main dishes to keep you coming back. The service at this restaurant was outstanding. They do have many options for food including a takeaway option so you will not get bored even with an extended stay. I'm really looking forward to coming back someday. Not sure when but I'll definitely stay here the next time I'm in Manila

What a beautiful and clean hotel with an amazing staff! Everyone always has a smile on, they greet you, and available to help! Our check in was on the 27th floor at The Club Lunge and welcome tea drinks were provided, delicious. We booked a one bedroom suite as we are traveling with a toddler. The room is spacious with a washer and dryer, full kitchen with complimentary snacks and drinks, water filtration system; and a rainforest shower! There is also an indoor lap pool and kid pool, gym 24hrs, TRX studio, spa, and private cinema if you book a 2 bedroom suite. There is complimentary food and beverage privileges: buffet breakfast from 6am to 10am with a continental cuisine and Filipino cuisine, all day refreshments at the Club Lounge from 6am to 9pm, and evening snacks at the Club lounge from 5pm to 7pm! Both buffets have a large selection of food, fruits, and sweets! Green belt mall is just across the street with lots of shops and restaurants! Definitely staying here again and recommending this hotel to family and friends!

this is my second time staying here, still the best! love going here bc it close to everything. greenbelt is just across the street. also, the staff here is super super nice and accommodating! we had a larger room this time so we checked in on the 27th floor. our stay included: free breakfast (which was amazing btw) and also free drinks/small bites at their club lounge from 5pm-7pm. the rooms are sooo nice and spacious. on top of that, our room had a washing machine/dryer which is amazing! also had a kitchen area. the only thing i wish they would change is the check out process. i wish we can just check out over the phone or the tv (which is common here at the states). sometimes, checking out is too long since the line to check out moves super slow. other than that, i would stay here again and again.

I'm currently staying here for 5 days and I'm on my 2nd day and all I can say is FABULOUS!!! I booked for my first day with 2 bedroom for the folks who picked me up for my flight from California. It was very noice!! Haha I meant nice with an Australian accent. There's kitchen with washer/dryer in one. Then I changed it to 1 bedroom with no VIP and breakfast. It was nice and all but I need to get that breakfast buffet! It's a must!! Drip coffee and all with variety of food (Japanese, Filipino, American, Indian, and for vegetarian). So I decided to go to the front desk and purchase a four day breakfast for two. But hey! Leo was like "If we upgrade you, you get free breakfast for two, VIP snacks from 5-7 PM and a movie theater on reservation!! " I was like Hell yeah! With guess what... an upgraded hotel room bigger than the previous one I had. I know it's not free and all, but hey I only come to the Philippines once! Why not Poknat! Gym is really good as well. Shout out to kuya that was there on Feb 4 at 8:30 am. Shout out also to Sofi and Kaye sa front desk! Amazing and cuteness talaga! At saka the other guy that was with Leo, great amazing service! Even my husband was impressed for all the staff!!

Absolutely gorgeous! Their whisky and cigar bar even better. The room was amazing and the fact that it comes with a washer and dryer made life easier. I enjoyed the amount of space I had in the living room and bedroom. Best sleep ever when I stayed here. Now the best part was the huge rainfall shower. I highly recommend this hotel!

Bacon, hash brown and soup of the day

We booked a two bedroom suite and it came with complimentary breakfast. There were an array of foods from tropical fruits to pastries, fresh on the spot made omelette or egg of your choice to the bacon, hash brown and pancake. You leave satisfied. Not to mention the exemplary service JB provided. He was attentive and remembered our drinks from the day before. Try to come early for breakfast for better selection and get a coffee to go. If you wake up late don't fret and you'll get a P400 credit voucher for a pre selected restaurants. The rooms were spacious with a furnished kitchenette and washer/dryer. The rain shower, comfortable beds and VIP treatment and amenities was the cherry on top. Thank you for your service

Stayed at the Makati Diamond Residences and was impressed by the cleanliness, extra sanitation process due to Covid and the staff's friendliness and courtesy. JM, Celine, Angela and Sam provided us with excellent customer service. We'll definitely be back to enjoy the nearby shops, restaurants and bars after Covid 19. Food from Alfredo's were superb. Highly recommend their crabmeat and uni pasta and pinakbet paella with crispy Vagner.

We stayed here for 1 week and it was my first stay in Manila. Being my first time, I was a little shocked with the high level of security at the hotel. There were armed guards, a bomb sniffing dog and a metal detector at the hotel entrance. But walking around Makati kinda gave me the idea that having armed guards in front of banks, restaurants, malls and even pharmacies was a fairly common occurrence. Since its the financial district of Manila and there have been other threats, security is tight in general around Manila. I will say, the security at the hotel are very cordial and polite. After a long flight and layover in the region, we arrived at the hotel in the afternoon and was warmly greeted by the hotel staff. The check-in process was smooth and easy. Upon arriving in the room, I was pleasantly surprised by the size of the room and bathroom. There were some nice complimentary bottles of water, soda, beer and even snacks in the room. The room had a large screen TV (guessing 65"+), a chaise lounger and large windows overlooking Makati. The bed was soft and comfortable. WiFi was reliable and there was a strong signal throughout the hotel. There is an option to upgrade for faster speed but for casual usage, I found the complimentary WiFi was more than sufficient. The hotel has a large lap pool on the 4th floor that is semi-outdoors. To get to the pool you have to walk outside where there's also an outdoor bar area but the pool itself is covered in a greenhouse type environment. The gym and pool are located in the same area and the gym is well stocked with different equipment, definitely one of the best gyms I've seen in a hotel. There are towels available and a water station available in the gym along with a instructor who can assist you if needed. We didn't get to use the pool or gym extensively during our stay but we did try out both and we liked them. I do wish there would had been a jacuzzi at the pool area, maybe near the bar area, that would have been a nice touch. The hotel is located right across from the Greenbelt Mall, which is connected to the Landmark, Glorietta and SM Makati malls as well. The Greenbelt mall is an impressive array of dining and shopping. Keep in mind there are several security checkpoints located throughout the various malls so you may get your bags checked or "wanded" a few times. Greenbelt mall is a series of malls that are labeled 1-5? And the mall covers just about everything imaginable. There is a large variety of eateries in the mall than can accommodate any budget or mood. There's money exchange places and cell phone vendors if you need cash and a local cell phone. There are spas, hair salons, pharmacies, book stores, and even laundry places that make it very convenient (if you're room/suite doesn't happen to have a washer/dryer) to get your clothes laundered and folded. My favorite part of the stay at the hotel was the breakfast buffet. When we booked the hotel, we opted for the breakfast option, otherwise, its an extra 800P (I think). The buffet offered a variety of western options (eggs, hashbrowns, cereals, pastries, etc), but it also offered local Filipino options, Indian, and Chinese options as well. It also had a fresh selection of fruits and yogurt, fresh juices and of coarse coffee. It was great start every morning and I recommend opting for the breakfast buffet option at the hotel. There are though many other breakfast places within a few minute walk from the hotel. On the weekends, some places may open a little later but during business days, the area is bustling with people and places open early. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and look forward to returning the next time I'm in Manila...

Clean and spacious accommodates US and European plugs, USB and kind USB outlets as well. Bathroom complete with toothbrushes shampoos soap etc. two liters of glass bottled water. TV channel selection a little small but I get it. First time I ever watch MLB is Japanese! Pool etc... Large pool with two swim lanes for those who like to do that. Two tennis courts a decent size gym and an outdoor smoking area for those who smoke. The food... Lobby Lounge Service most times was excellent with a few gaps at times. Chicken Cesar was very good, decent amount-of chicken and just the right amount of dressing. The cheese burger was good as well. But if you have the time hit the sage grill for the Wagyu burger, much juicer and actually cheaper. Sage Bar... Nice interior and again super friendly and attentive staff. Wagyu burger with fries was very good. Cooked perfectly and was very juicy. A solid choice. I thought the burger was good but the pork belly was just as good. The apple marmalade was a great addition. Circles... Very large buffet that had all kinds of options. We usually went for breakfast but everything from eggs to sushi fish head and some regional dishes. Recommend to try some nee things as you can take a bite or two Really enjoyed this place while balancing work and exploring the area.

The location is near nice shoping and dining destinations. Some negatives.. Overall the hotel restaurants are too expensive . Shangri-La, you already got me with the room rates so let up on the dining prices. I suggest skip the fancy seafood buffet. It was ridiculous how you need to order a tiny lobster one by one and wait something like a half hour for it to be cooked. If you are a drinker like I am, stay away from the lobby piano and bar area. Service was too slow, drinks aren't stiff enough and the prices are too high. The swimming pool is on a roof which sounds cool but the sun was blazing hot. Not enough shaded seats. For that matter not enough seats in general. Also the cement around the pool is extremely slippery when wet. I slipped and almost threw a hip out trying to regain my balance. Be careful.

However underneath the facade of the lobby is a very meh and dated hotel room. Desks with old wooden squeaky drawers, an air conditioner with a mind of its own, no DND indicator at the door, and a faucet controlled by two knobs that need constant fine tuning throughout the shower. The check-in and check-out process seemed to take forever, and I can't imagine what it would be like during peak season when they're likely slammed. It's not all bad though. I think it's nice that they use Malin+Goetz products in the bathroom. And the bed itself seemed the one new contemporary thing in the room, which made for a comfortable sleep. The breakfast selection was decent, and a complimentary welcome drink was a nice touch. Still, given the variety of competition and options in the neighbourhood, I wouldn't make it a top choice despite it being the closest walk to Greenbelt.

But it had a very good rating on Booking.com, and my sis liked the location, so close to her office. RED PLANET AMORSOLO When we arrived at Red Planet Amorsolo, what immediately struck us was the clean and bright parking area. It was full, though, so we were directed to park out front. The front desk is located on the second floor, and there's a small cafe there where you can order some light snacks like muffins, and use some public computers. The area is nice and clean, if a bit simple and no-frills. The building looked new and clean. The elevator is modern. The corridors were also nice and clean. Most importantly, the RED PLANET AMORSOLO FELT SAFE. My sis tried another budget hotel in Makati last week, on the same price range (around P2,000 per night), and it was old and musty and did not feel safe. Red Planet Amorsolo is located just behind the Burgundy Corporate Tower in Makati, near Makati Medical Center. You can easily walk to Pasong Tamo (Chino Roces Ave.), Buendia (Sen. Gil Puyat Ave.) or Ayala Ave. Okay, I am not a fan of the name changes of the streets. Many places to eat are within walking distance, the better ones nearby are along Ayala Ave., but Ministop, Mang Inasal and McDonald's are the nearest. If too lazy to head out, you can always have food delivered! Just call the front desk and let them know that you are expecting a delivery. They will assist the delivery guy in going to your room. UPDATE: There's a small Taiwanese grocery store in the building just immediately to the left of the hotel. It's called TPE Market, but it's not very visible because a lot of trucks and cars are parked in front of it, covering the sign and the door. They sell very good bento box meals for only P190! THE ROOM The room was actually quite small, smaller than we expected, and it was pretty basic. However, it was bright and clean, the bed looked clean, nice and inviting, the bathroom was clean and new, the hot/cold water pressure was strong. There's a small safe. Bath towels are provided, but that's it. There's a soap dispenser and a 3-in-one shampoo, body wash and conditioner liquid dispenser in the shower. There's no toothbrush provided, so bring your own. The bathroom door is frosted glass, but the rest of the bathroom has real walls. There is no closet area, and there are no amenities for coffee/tea. You can ask for some hot water from the front desk, but that is just too much trouble to do every time. So I took a quick trip to Shopwise, just a quick, P7.00 jeepney ride along Chino Roces (Pasong Tamo) around the corner, and luckily found an electric kettle on sale for P388.00 for my coffee / tea / oatmeal and instant cup noodle needs. While there, I also bought some supplies like snacks and dish soap. There is no refrigerator, so only bring snacks that don't need any refrigeration. Oh, and bring your own mug. Luckily, I brought my travel utensils set, a spoon, fork and chopsticks set with case that I bought from 168. Also, be careful if you're eating in the room. Upon checking in, we were told that we would be charged for any stains that we might make. We also bought drinking water and whatever else we needed from the 7-Eleven on the ground floor of the hotel. Aircon is cold, and there's a ceiling fan as well. There's a little bar with hangers where you can hang up some clothes. Also, there's no phone in the room. They have an app you can download to chat with the staff if you have any requests, I guess. There's a phone near the elevators that you can use to call the Front Desk. There's a big flat screen TV that has all the basic cable channels, including CNN and the Asian Food Channel. There's FREE WIFI and the internet speed is pretty decent but won't win any speed awards. SUMMARY At this price range, I think this is the best option for a budget hotel stay within the heart of Makati. If all you need is a clean, safe, affordable place to stay in Makati, I'd recommend the Red Planet Amorsolo. I would stay here again if I ever needed a place to stay in Makati -- this is now Option #1 if stranded in Makati. Rainy days are coming, you know. Better to bunk here for the night with friends or officemates, where it's safe and dry, than go through 8-hour traffic or epic floods trying to get home. It is run professionally, with young staff who are educated and professional. If I didn't know it was a hotel, I would have thought that it was one of those popular, expensive gym chains! The place is clean, new, well-lighted and feels safe. There's also a guard at the front who will help you out with parking and what not. It was the total opposite of what I expected the hotel to be (I expected it to be cheap-looking and dirty).

I was waking up past breakfast time (0700-1000) so I wasn't able to check it out. I would suggest to just book the accommodation and just get some grub outside of the hotel. The room was clean.
