Get there early if you want a seat or pay extra for the small VIP section (which also has it's own bar area), plus a lot of Queens enter from this vantagepoint. Drinks weren't as expensive as I thought they would be, and luckily for me (the nominated driver) they had a good selection of non alcoholic options, including cocktails and beers, as well as juices n sodas. Staff were friendly and professional, bouncers fair and bar staff friendly and quick. Free parking in the evening. For a small venue this place rocks, and I"m looking forward to watching the Queens perform a Halloween scene, and also going to see an EDC show, or maybe some reggae in future.

Drinks are on point too! The Margarita is a home run, poured heavy (if that's your style, you'll love it). The Lemon Drop is smooth and refreshing, almost too easy to drink because you can barely taste the alcohol so it's dangerous in the best way. Their branding logo with the rainbow lip bite is powerful. Everything about this place feels intentional, fun and inviting. The show itself was perfect. The way the performers engage with the crowd was amazing and pure talent from the heart. The outfits are bold, creative and absolutely stunning, adding to the power of the show. The crowd is incredible, going absolutely wild, screaming and of course letting out those Cheehoos that lift the energy even higher. This has to be the longest review I've ever written, but it's worth it. A place and experience like this deserves every word. The atmosphere is lively, colorful, and just makes you want to settle in, let loose and have a good time :) Definitely will be coming back!

At 9 am, they hold their Delicious Pancake Breakfast which sadly we missed. Maybe next year! There was an AG education Tent, 2 Grown on Maui Farmers Market Tent filled with fresh vegetables, fruits, flowers, honey, jam and so forth...entertainment, horse and pony rides, food trucks galore, and the main reason we came-the Grand Taste! My cousin and I bought tickets to the Grand Taste 2026 online which was held between 2:30-4:30 pm. It sold out online but the volunteers mentioned coming back around 3:30 pm if there was any openings. Fortunately, there was a kind volunteer who ran to my other cousin who missed out online and let him know of a lady who's friend wanted to give away her Grand Taste ticket...and my cousin got in! What a fun tasting experience it was, while supporting our community chefs and local agricultural industry! These chefs are executive chefs, sous chefs and pastry chefs at local Maui Restaurants highlighting their craft in mini bites. All chefs are required to use locally sourced meat and locally grown vegetables from the Aina (land) or fish from Makai (ocean) and for the dessert category, highlighting local Ku'ia Chocolate, Lilikoi (Passion Fruit) and Mango. Once you get into the Grand Taste, you're able to visit multiple tents for the small plates of their uniquely crafted offerings. Then sit inside the tent to enjoy or enjoy standing at the Tables inside the grassy area. You can visit the water stations to hydrate in between and go on to the next tastings! In the end of your tastings, you can give your coin to the chef who won your vote for the Fan Favorite award! ALL the chefs were winners in my opinion! If you're a foodie like me, this is a Maui event you don't want to miss!

Lots of free giveaways from the booths, did not take any, can't afford any more luggage space... Atmosphere - Hosted at the War Memorial Complex. Plenty of police for traffic control and safety. Live music - amazing announcer, probably a professional at a local radio station. She is so funny yet professional. See picture of scheduled events. Kid friendly - oversized farm equipment for kids to climb and play on. Also, they honked the tractor's horn non stop throughout the event... Shaded picnic area - be careful of the ant farms, I made the mistake of standing on one, but gave everyone a good laugh. Several kids play area. Plenty of clean outhouses with washing stations. Plus the park across the street has clean public bathrooms. Lastly, don't forget the 4H Livestock show. Service - 6 stars, everyone was so friendly and nice. Nice to see volunteers sort the garbage to create a better environment, see picture. Price - Free parking and entrance + whatever you buy. We drove into the parking grass area of the arena parking and paid an admission fee of 5.00 per car. We have handicap parking so we parked close to the entrance, perfect! We walked in and was amazed by the st up that they had. Everything was set up with vendors and food trucks. They had many of things to purchase. To many cute things. We knew that Waiwaiolani were there so we decided to hit them up before they sell out of some cute stuff. Boy did she have a line at the clubhouse. But the line moved pretty fast. As to where we bought so many cute things. I think everyone was happy that upcountry had this event going on. It was nice to see many people there spending they're money with smiling faces on. I was very happy with the person who put this event on she did an amazing job! We can't wait for the next one to happen in August. If you're ever in the Makawao area head up on Olinda Road to the Oskie Rice Arena they just might have an event going on. We went to support our extended Paniolo Ohana from Maui. The vendors came through with Amazing products for purchasing & The array of foods were just what this rodeo brought in. We were excited to see one of the food trucks made Pupu style foods like lomi O'io raw fish & pulehu smoked tako mix with limu. So many varieties to choose from. The Bull bash has always been one of our favorite things to watch at the rodeo & Especially our Na keiki O Maui paniolo's riding them sheep's. Just Amazingly Fun! ;)

Food was actually decent. A lot of places are ayce but this was family-style. Service was great and they kept refilling our food to make sure we're never empty. The short ribs were the best. Poke was good and simple, fish was a bit dry, salad was refreshing, but fruits were surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be in Maui. It's also aycd at the bar but the cocktails were very sweet. I learned to just order shots. They also have coffee and tea available. They had a cool tattoo and cute flower station too.
