This is an update as he now has his very own page on yelp ANNNNND now his own rockin' little custom space to get decked out in! Talk about feeling like a celebrity. I adore my trips to the salon knowing that Tomi will always give my hair the attention it needs. I'm spontaneous, creative, not afraid to chop, color and have fun with my look. He is on that same level with me, up for fun and pays extreme attention to detail no matter how wild or conservative the task at hand. He truly loves what he does and it shows! I think it is very important that he is honest with you if you are trying to achieve a look that might not suit you or something that isn't worth the damage to your hair or even the upkeep to your personal style! When I first game to him, I had dark brown hair and wanted to go blonde. My previous stylist told me that I had too much dark dye in my hair and would not be able to go blonde without severely damaging my hair. Tomi was able to get me to the exact blonde I wanted (blonde, but not too blonde, with highlights and low-lights....I'm very picky about my blonde). It was perfect. I now go back regularly for cut and color and just had an appointment this past week. Once again, it was exactly what I wanted and I got a ton of compliments on the blow dry. I also love the new space. It's decorated beautifully and you can tell him and the other stylist there really care about the place. Here is the best part though....he takes appointments by text. I made my last appointment by texting him around 8pm Sunday night and he text me back confirming pretty quickly. It is so convenient and he is really accommodating as far as making appointments go. Tomi is hilarious and fun to chat with so the appointments always go by quickly. He is also very efficient and gets the job done in a reasonable amount of time. He really listens to what the client wants and gets it done. If I could, I'd give Tomi 6 stars! Tomi and his assistant Venessa were awesome. Tomi took the time to really look at my hair and understood exactly what I wanted. Then he got it done in a reasonable amount of time. I had forgotten to ask how much the color would be and have to say, was a little nervous about the final amount would be, since he was so experienced. When given my total, I was pleasantly surprised how reasonable it was given the amount of work he had to do. So happy to be blonde again! The salon itself is really nice and open and the parking is free and easy.
