She did my makeup, my sister's, my mom's and my daughter's makeup. We were all movie stars by the time she was done with us. Love love love! Keturah is not only the sweetest, freshest and funniest gal you will meet but she is a fantastic makeup artist. She did my makeup for my wedding - and I am no spring chicken. I can honestly not rate Keturah highly enough! I was an out of town bride with much of my wedding planning being done via phone or email. I am so glad that my photographers recommended Keturah! Most of our original correspondence was done via email and she was always so punctual at getting back to me and answering all of my questions. She even mailed me all of the information that I needed to have when making a very important decision on who should be making your look gorgeous on your wedding day and in all of the pictures you will look back on for years. I was down in Palm Desert only about a week before the wedding and we still hadn't done our "trial" make up session, so Keturah was able to schedule me in like 3 days before the wedding day. Not only did she travel to our house to do the trial run she was on time, completely prepared with her own makeup chair and all the makeup she needed. We talked as if we were friends rather than just meeting for the first time. She asked me questions about my makeup routine and what I should do to make my skin glowing for the wedding day. She always wanted my approval for the makeup rather than just saying this is what looks good so this is what we are doing. She is beyond gorgeous which is exactly what you want in someone who will be doing your makeup. When the wedding day arrived, she was at the club house waiting for me and my bridesmaids to get there after our hair appts. and she was ready to go! She made me feel so comfortable which helped calm my nerves and she made all of my girls extremely comfortable as well. I also loved that she already knew our photographers and florist and when they came in and out of the room it was like a bunch of friends chatting and catching up rather than awkward introductions and limited conversation. I couldn't have been happier. I now have beautiful pictures that will last me a lifetime and that I will look back on with pride because of how beautiful I felt for my wedding. I found her to be a good make up artist but unprofessional. She is friendly but lacks in communication or integrity. I hired Keturah for my wedding thinking she would be the one to personally do my make up the day of but she sent one of her colleagues instead (by herself to do 7 girls, including me in 3.5 hours) - who showed up late but did a great job nonetheless. A couple things were sacrificed due to this. 1) We ran behind on schedule so one of my bridesmaid missed her chance to get her make up done and in addition to that 2) I missed my window to have my "first look" with my husband to be- I arrived at the church a few minutes before I had to walk down the aisle. My mother was very furious so she had handwritten her Keturah a letter the morning of my wedding to express her how disappointed she felt- yet no apology or even a response . So I also sent her an email a couple months after my wedding also expressing my feeling of frustration and discomfort in hopes again to get any kind of reply or at least an apology... it's been almost a year and still NOTHING. read more

I just got married on February 1st, and to put it simply - I'm obsessed with Keturah. She is so amazing in every which way possible! I went out to Palm Springs to get my trial done, and within an instant, I knew I'd be friends with her for life. So of course at that point, I prayed I loved the makeup too.....and yes, she totally blew me away! It was perfect. I absolutely loved her process too. We consulted for a few minutes, I showed her pictures of what I did/did not like and instead of piling on a ton of makeup, she built it up to my liking and personal preferences. I walked out of the trial knowing I was in the best hands for my wedding day. And that I was. When the Big Day rolled around, she was on time, professional, and all of my girls fell in love with her, just as I had. She's such a joyous person to be around and is ever-so talented. All of my girls and my mom looked so, so amazing and when it came time to do me, I just let her do her thing and I felt like a million bucks (shouldn't everyone on their wedding?). Keturah will get you there! She also gifted me with the lipstick/gloss that I could reapply throughout the day and as I was walking out the door, she did any last necessary touch-ups. I got a million compliments and although I'm still waiting to receive my pictures back from our photographer, I know her work will radiate through.
