I have been noticing this place a month ago even before it opened. Luckily, I happened to find out where they finally opened. They had soft opening last weekend where they had BOGO 2nd one 50% off. There wasn't too long of a line but there's a wait to get the food. I think I ended up trying 5-6 items. Out of the ones I tried, I like the watermelon quian bu long. It's refreshing, not too sweet and taste different from the makkee deluxe. I also enjoyed the purple rice a lot and I got one on the side. The mango dessert with little tapioca balls are good. The mango is not in season so it's a bit sour. Otherwise, the makkee deluxe, peach gum with milk tastes similar. Unfortunately, you order at kiosk and you pick up your own dessert after. Really disappointing experience. I ordered a dessert that was $14.74 before tax, which is already pretty expensive for a dessert dish. When ordering, I specifically asked if I could replace the tapioca with grass jelly. The cashier told me they couldn't substitute it, so I said that's fine -- please remove the tapioca then add grass jelly instead. He then told me I couldn't do that either, which was confusing because it does have toppings mix and match in their menu. I had to ask again "why I can't just pay extra to add grass jelly?" before he finally told me yes. So I paid extra for the grass jelly and specifically asked for NO tapioca. I got the order to go, brought it all the way home, opened it... and there was still tapioca in it. It's not even about the extra charge. If you're charging $14.74 before tax for one dessert, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect the staff to pay attention to a very simple request, especially when I went through the trouble of explaining it multiple times. The whole ordering process was unnecessarily confusing, and after all that, the order was still made incorrectly. Very frustrating. read more

I like how it also had this clear jelly (not sure what it's called), but it was pretty floral tasting. The taro mochi balls (?) were also nice and chewy. Everything was pretty fresh. It didn't take too long for our order to be prepared. Although, for the price of this, I feel like it's kinda pricey for what it is.
