I got the taro ball with durian and vanilla frost and its yummy. I wished they gave more durian though. But i liked the taro ball combo. The watermelon noodle soup was a bit bland to me but it might be because i ate the durian one and it was sweet. The noodles are made of coconut jelly but its interesting having "noodle" soup as a dessert. The pimpompurin pudding is yummy and they give you 2 pocky sticks with it. They have such cute dessert designs. Not sure about service but we ordered from the qr code and went to pay in the front. My new favorite dessert place now that the other one on main closed. Lots of parking. Theres a few levels of parking in the garage i think

Was visiting from out of town and a friend had just gotten to the LA area and wanted to catch up. We wanted some dessert near where I was staying in Monterey Park and I happened to stumble upon this spot. Next to Tea Brick, which is another yum boba spot. We liked the variety on the menu and we got different things between three people and a kid. We got a mango dessert, a jelly dessert, and I had picked a strawberry sweet toast. There was ample seating around 8 PM and my son absolutely loved the toast. Good to know that this is around in the event I visit family again in this area!

4.6 stars "Not too sweet!" This was good! Flavor & texture of everything was on point. *We got: - Mango+mochi bowl: The mango was sweet, mochi was perfect texture, and ice on the bottom was perfectly sweet. The bunny is made out of coconut milk which was yummy! 5/5 stars - Durian Roll: loved the outside. Reminded me of the rice dim sum roll but filled with flavorful durian cream. Which there was a bit of durian chunk in there. 4.5/5 stars - Taro bowl: has aloe, 2 types of jelly, and taro mochi balls. It was good! But not my fav. Wait time isn't too long 15-20mins for us on a Friday night. Good amount of seating but it was stuffy.. Premier Dessert Art, definitely is added to the dessert list!

We got to-go. Cash only if order is under $20. Modern Hong Kong dessert cafe. There are dairy-free items are like the taro balls icy items (non-dairy shaved ice with goodies on it), cold grass jelly mixed items, traditional desserts, etc. Make sure to note in Chinese to not add any dairy/condense milk or such on your icy if you want the non-dairy icy. Snow White/white snow is aka milk ice that's shaved, so avoid that if you can't have dairy. Staff speaks Mandarin. QR code scan for theor menu. Link to the menu: https://www.jd-dian.com/CloudMenu/GetDishesInfoServlet?account=16266321997&table_code=%5B%E5%A4%96%E5%8D%96%5D They allow take-out. Open parking lot or in the garage with shade. Located on the same plaza as Mama Lu's and Chubby Cattle. #6 Taro balls ice $8.56. It was good enough. The rice balls were okay. It's not the freshest, but it wasn't too old either. We'd order this again. Maybe we'll ask for more icie in ours next time? We just wanted something refreshing/anti-inflammatory which the jellies and ice offered. Not looking for the best. Just came out of convenience. We rarely grab shaved ice and traditional Chinese desserts, so we would be able to compare among many places like Phoenix, etc. I'm looking forward to trying their hot sesame ball soups, herbal jelly, and anything else without dairy.

We came here as a group of four one night after having dinner nearby. This place came up on our search and we decided to try it. None of us have ever been to this place before so we kept our expectations low. We ordered the mango rice roll, colorful pho fruit bowl, strawberry lover, colorful panda ice rice balls. The last order came out so cute! It was too cute to eat but I had to find out how it tastes ... and it was really nice. Everything was at the right sweetness (I hate it when its too sweet). I ended up buying more to take home for my kids coz I was pretty sure they would love it too. I'm already thinking of getting some of my girlfriends to come to this place too.

A dessert place that names itself Premier Dessert Art certainly elicits high expectations, and it did not let us down. We came on a Saturday afternoon. There is parking at the plaza (as well as underground parking). The place is clean and friendly. It wasn't too busy. You can scan a QR code at the tables or order at the register. We had the Mango Rolls (which were rice-based, and the owner assured us that they would be entirely gluten-free) and the Black Sticky Rice with Durian (shaved ice). The Mango Rolls were absolutely delicious; soft-textured with a nice chewiness and subtle yet balanced flavors. The Durian shaved ice was also amazing. Not too sweet and an interesting combination of textures. One of my absolute favorite Asian dessert places!

Herbal jelly with aloe and honey. Refreshing and delicious!

Delicious Cantonese desserts artistically plated! The herbal jelly (guilingao) with aloe and honey is cooling as a healthy lightly sweetened dessert. The milk pudding with durian is just excellent in its smoothness and silky textire. Both desserts are perfect in its balance of sweetness. *Desserts ordered were so yummy that I ordered hot black sesame and hot egg white almond soups to-go.

My friends and I stopped by this place as it was the closest sweets spot to Little Skewer & was open late. The menu was so extensive that we took about 10 min to decide on what to order due to choice paralysis. I love the selection that incorporated popular Asian dessert flavors- Pandan, grass jelly, mango, durian, plus how there were both drinks and desserts. I opted for three things, and wow I was blown away by how delicious everything was! The mangos were so so sweet and they didn't skimp on the portions; the durian was fresh and creamy. I didn't expect to love everything so much! Would 1000% come back :)

Absolutely ADORABLE desserts that are decently priced (~$12) and taste as good as they look! The desserts are refreshingly cold and have a chewy bouncy texture. We found the dessert to be the ideal sweetness, and really enjoyed the various puddings, jelly, and tapioca balls. Although this place is a bit of a drive from where I live, it's definitely one of my favorite spots and I would definitely return again if I'm in the area

Run by a nice older couple who just want to make Cantonese desserts. The desserts are pretty authentic and not overly sweet, which I really liked. The durian and mango rice rolls were great, and the chrysanthemum tea is also one of the best I've had. It seems like everything is made to order, which explains the long wait times. Expect 20 to 30 minutes, but it's worth it if you're not in a rush. The space itself is huge and even has an upstairs, though it doesn't seem to get much use. Service: Kind and genuine, but slow due to made-to-order desserts Food/Drinks: Authentic Cantonese desserts with balanced sweetness, durian and mango rice rolls stood out, chrysanthemum tea was excellent Ambiance: Large and quiet, relaxed dessert house vibe 9/10 Worth the wait for well-made, not-too-sweet Cantonese desserts

Came here craving some Asian dessert and was not disappointed at all. Everything me and my friend got, between the snow ice, pancake, taro balls, mango, etc, tasted amazing. Especially in Monterey Park where the dessert options can be limited this is definitely a standout location. Would definitely recommend this to yall.

Very cute desserts, but very mediocre in flavor. We waited about 25 minutes to receive our orders. My friends and I tried the Strawberry Toast and the Pompompurin jello mango dessert. The Strawberry Toast consisted of a buttered thick toast topped with a layer of melted marshmallow, strawberries, strawberry ice cream, and a drizzle of chocolate syrup. It was overall delicious, but unsure why it took that long to prepare. The Pompompurin jello dessert was visually aesthetic, but the taste was not that great. The mango jello was slightly sweet, but did not stand out. It came with "mango" ice cream, but it tasted a little bit like durian. There were also these little clear bubbles that looked like popping boba, but when you bit into them, it tasted very strange (like nutty and bitter). Not entirely sure what that was. Nevertheless, their prices are decent for a dessert spot in Monterey Park. It's located inside a plaza so parking is convenient as well.

As the name of the bakery implies, it's "Perfectly Sweet"…read more I'm generally a bit more wary of purchasing baked goods from non-Asian bakeries since they tend to be sweeter than what my palate likes, but not here! The hours are a bit limited, but I managed to make it in time to grab some pre-made baked goods to go. I got a bag of coconut macaroons, bag of several chocolate chip cookies, 2 red velvet cookies, a baked dog cookie biscuit, and a cute Keroppi sugar cookie. Most of these ended up being gifts, but I did enjoy one of the red velvet cookies and for an already sweet flavor profile with white chocolate chips in it, I was already fearing the worse, but went perfect with a glass of milk. The edges were nicely crisped by the baking too. Delicious. Love that they had a stock of cute, pre-decorated cookies available as well (some Sanrio characters, animals, etc.) They also list all the ingredients used in each of the baked goods that they have prepackaged, which is nice. It's also a cafe where you can order drinks, as well as a place you can order cakes custom order or what they have behind the glass already. There's both seating inside and outside.

I especially love the edible chocolate "Happy Birthday" sign and how they package everything so beautifully in a white box with a gold bow and a lavender flower touch it's such a thoughtful and elegant detail. The girl working the counter was a young girl just getting by her summer day job. She was nice but timid. It was our first time there and a little more energy on her end could've been better. Ordered the ube swirl, pineapple dole whip, mung bean taiyaki, and a custard one togo. The taiyaki that goes onto the ice cream is a lot bigger than one we ordered to go. I thought it would be as big, but when I got it, it was so much smaller and flat. Also, the taiyaki that goes on top of the ice cream was old. It had been sitting there for a while or was made earlier as it was hard and difficult to bite. The red bean inside I also assumed was a paste like how they make the Japanese version, however there were whole pieces in there. It was okay, but I thought they'd be like paste. Overall, the only thing that was good was the ube swirl and the pineapple dole whip. It was also extremely warm in the shop, like no AC in the triple digits summer heat. Had to eat it elsewhere. I most likely won't be back.

Their round, cute little shapes were honestly impossible to resist I picked out a few, and the mousse was smooth and delicate, with just the right amount of sweetness. Paired with the cake layers inside, everything felt light and balanced. The atmosphere here was just as lovely. It's the kind of place where you can find a quiet spot, order a cup of coffee and a few little desserts, and simply slow down for a while. Perfect for an unhurried afternoon--just sitting there, chatting, or doing absolutely nothing for a bit. The Portuguese egg tart had a flaky, crisp crust with a soft, creamy custard center, and the price was surprisingly friendly. The caramel croissant was beautifully layered with a subtle caramel aroma. The berry tart was fresh and refreshing, with tangy berries balanced by smooth cream.
