Recently I had to have testing completed for my daughter and I. We drove to the Free PNC Arena Drive Thru testing site after registering online. The online registration is easy and there is no appointment necessary. Rick greeted us at the front and provided the test kits. We then sat in the line until provided the test tube and label. We swabbed ourselves and were done in less than 5 minutes. Very organized and simple. We had to return today after receiving inconclusive test results for my daughter. Rick took time to do a tutorial with my daughter that would avoid any inconclusive results. He took his time to walk us through how to swab for accuracy. This was very kind and helpful to us. I went with my friend, as company, to get her COVID-19 test completed at the chapel hills mall location. A young lady by the name of Jenny or Jennifer was working there . I was quite appalled as to how incredibly rude she was to my friend, who had an abundance of questions . She had never received a test prior to this. we were out to do some shopping and she needed to get her test done, for a pending flight to visit her ill brother . this young lady had a very poor attitude my friend had heard bad things about being tested and was nerve racked. I had assured her that it would be OK as I myself have been tested before through your testing site in fountain. it makes me very upset that when people are scared and have to have this done in order to fly, that your staff treats individuals poorly. this should not be the case.I hope that there is training for the people you use to staff your testing facilities in order to provide better care to the communities, especially with us older folk, who are very frightened with what is going on in the world around us. Perhaps she was having a bad day, but nonetheless, this does nor excuse her behavior . I will find out what other places are available in order to avoid such issues in the future. She has since received results, but I would have rather paid for her to go elsewhere, in order to have avoided how she was treated. No one will answer the phone except an off shore call center and they don't understand or help any at all. No one will answer their phones in the Raleigh, NC area. No one will respond to emails. My wife and I went to the testing site located at First Baptist Church in Cornelius, NC. The gentleman who took our specimens told us that Mako would call us with the results within 3 days and that we would be told which variant of the COVID 19 we had . This was on June 12,2022. Mako never contacted us. We contacted Mako and they told us that we both tested positive but couldn't tell us what variant we had. We complained that the man at the testing site told us that we would be told which variant we had. They never gave us a straight answer as to why we couldn't get the info regarding which variant we had and why the man at First Baptist Church test site told us that we would be obtaining this info. Got two pcr tests and not one of them came back before my international flight. Thanks for ruining my trip.

They stated results for a drive-thru covid test is ready at midnight the day you do your test. What they do not tell you, is apparently they have a system from 2001 that uploads those results into your portal no less than 48 hours AFTER THE RESULTS come back. My 10 month old had to be tested to receive a clearance for daycare. I have an account that was created the same day. I had to call to even get the results. So they can see your test results, but you can't see verification of results until their system decides to upload it. So I still cannot put my son back in daycare, which is keeping food off my table. Don't use them if you actually need to SEE your results before the next century. read more

They should be rated a negative 5! Waited in line for 2.5 hours in the rain for a test. It has been 2 weeks and I have yet to get any test results. I have tried emailing, calling, texting and signing up for the portal but nothing seems to work. Don't bother getting tested with them you will never get the results back. Rated one star because zero was not an option. Our overall experience felt extremely disorganized and unsystematic. It wasn't a "one bag and done" ordeal. I am almost 17 and have done a self-test 3 times, but they would not allow me to self-test for some reason. Or fill out the survey. Not to mention that only one staff member was kind to us. Getting our results was also a journey. Why do we have to sign up for a completely different service when we have already given Mako our emails/phone numbers/etc.? Radeas Labs sent us an email with our results within 12 hours of our tests. It would have been a lot easier if Mako would have sent us an email as well instead of making us sign up for another service. The website also does not work on a cellular device. I had to go on a computer. Overall it was just a really frustrating experience. read more

No one knows what is going on in their lab. Some agents tell us our specimen were received day before yesterday at 11AM and some are saying they received it today at 11Am. Agents over the phone are usless as they can be. They are just humans behaving like robots. They can not answer any questions, nor are willing to listen to or understand ones problems. I wish i had gone to other place for my covid test where MAKO labs are not involved. read more

I had my covid test done in the parking lot at the Valdosta health department on Monday morning. The nurse told me that I would get my results back in 24-48 hours. I have tried to call their customer service number several times and have been told that there is a 30 minute or greater wait time. I have left voice mails for them to call me back (with all of my information,location,test number). I have also emailed their company with my information. It is now Friday evening and I have received no response on whether my test is positive or negative. I could not return to work without a negative result so I went to SGMC yesterday and got tested in the hospital parking lot. I received my test results in a hour. Do not utilize Mako Medical because they will not communicate back to you. They will not answer the phone or email you back. If I could give them a zero, I would! Utilize South Ga Medical center for your testing. Mako Medical is a jackleg company that receives federal funding for providing no services. I will report them to Better business bureau because of this. read more
