This time I had the Shoyu Ramen with Char Shiu. It was excellent. I really liked the Shoyu broth. So did my wife. She thought it was better than the miso broth. I think they're different. Miso is thicker and Shoyu is lighter. It depends on what you want. I wanted something lighter and this hit the spot perfectly. The pork was also on point, very flavorful. Last time we were here my complaint was that the beef threw the dish off. Not the Char Shiu. It was the right choice. We also ordered the Roasted Pork Buns. I thought the buns were too dry for my taste. I prefer their bao buns.

The ramen was so much than last time. My husband got it with the soy broth and pork. The broth was super delicious. I loved it. The pork was also very good. Even though they are known for their noodles, they also serve sushi. Last time we were here I said I would try the sushi next time. I ordered the Eel with Avocado and the Red Dragon Roll. Both very delicious, especially the Red Dragon Roll. I would eat more sushi from here in the future.

Let me start by saying the food and service here is absolutely amazing. We have visited the restaurant twice and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I would definitely recommend you trying the bao bum(I asked for the teriyaki chicken ), my sister asked for the chicken Okonomiyaki (japan pancakes, they are not sweet) they were sooooo good, also the ramen is super good (I tasted the beef and my sister tasted chicken Katsu, they were both great!). If you would like dessert ask for a fried cheesecake with a side of green tea ice cream.

The bartender was spectacular! Kept good conversation going with all of us at the bar, but not too much that you can't enjoy your time. (I was solo dining for context). For the food, a lot of it was very yummy, but I do think I was missing something with each dish. Whether it was salt, more umami, or just spice. The methods of everything being made was executed well, it just could have been better in overall flavor which is why I gave it 3 stars. On top of the bartender having a great personality & service, the cocktails were equally delicious. Now the flavor is absolutely in the bar so although I may not come back for all of the food, I would willingly try more dishes and eagerly order a drink!

The place is small but cute inside. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you like sake, we had a very unique and delicious sake bottle called the Moonstone. Is unfiltered sake with a coconut lemongrass flavor. We tasted the sake flight and that one was the winner flavor. As appetizer we had the pan fried mixed dumplings, veggie and pork. Both good. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was decent but not as tasty as I would like it to be. The broth wasn't rich enough. The meat and noodles were great. The amount was plentiful. It fulfilled its purpose. We finished our meal in a sweet note with two scoops of ice cream, sesame and caramel flavors. They were creamy, really good.

The flavors were perfect, and the food was piping hot, which I love. The food we ate was Chinese food, but we haven't tried the ramen to see if it's similar to Japanese/Korean ramen or something different. Next time. The chicken was super tender and thinly sliced. The broccoli was lightly cooked, but so obviously fresh. The sauce in that dish was delicately flavored. My husband really enjoyed his vegetarian dish (they have a small but clearly marked vegetarian section of the menu). I tried it...the tofu was so soft on the inside, silken, but perfectly fried to give it some texture on the outside. His veggies in the dish were also perfect, not over cooked and all obviously fresh (I've see canned ingredients at some places in PR before). The noodles were a thin type and had a light seasoning on them. It's a casual dining place, and parking in this neighborhood can be a little tricky. We parked to the east in a lot for $5. It's a family run business, we saw 3 generations in the shop. They spoke Spanish, English, and I'm guessing at least one Asian language. Very friendly service, and clean inside. We'll be back and we hope the ramen and appetizers are as stellar as the two dishes we tried!

The restaurant has a darker aesthetic, but it feels cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was friendly. The ramen was outstanding. The noodles were perfectly tender, and the broth was rich and full of flavor. I also tried the sake bomb, and even though I'm not usually a big fan of alcohol, it paired surprisingly well with the ramen. The sushi was incredible too. Honestly, I wish the portions were bigger because I could have happily made a whole meal out of just the sushi!

We came as a group of 6, and upon entering, it took more than 20 minutes for us to be acknowledged. Bummer. I will say that this place is not suitable for large groups. We were seated at a large coffee table in the far back, right next to the restroom. As mentioned earlier, the food is great, but it took more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Tonkotsu is better than the Tantanmen. Black Lagoon is better than the Smoked & Mango. It's very expensive for what it is, but I'm sure it's because of the location and the hype of this place. Overall, the lights and decor are really cool, good food, but definitely don't see myself recommending this place to anyone!
