The food was mediocre at best. The music too loud but the service was ok. It was our first time visiting.

The bartender was spectacular! Kept good conversation going with all of us at the bar, but not too much that you can't enjoy your time. (I was solo dining for context). For the food, a lot of it was very yummy, but I do think I was missing something with each dish. Whether it was salt, more umami, or just spice. The methods of everything being made was executed well, it just could have been better in overall flavor which is why I gave it 3 stars. On top of the bartender having a great personality & service, the cocktails were equally delicious. Now the flavor is absolutely in the bar so although I may not come back for all of the food, I would willingly try more dishes and eagerly order a drink!

The place is small but cute inside. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you like sake, we had a very unique and delicious sake bottle called the Moonstone. Is unfiltered sake with a coconut lemongrass flavor. We tasted the sake flight and that one was the winner flavor. As appetizer we had the pan fried mixed dumplings, veggie and pork. Both good. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was decent but not as tasty as I would like it to be. The broth wasn't rich enough. The meat and noodles were great. The amount was plentiful. It fulfilled its purpose. We finished our meal in a sweet note with two scoops of ice cream, sesame and caramel flavors. They were creamy, really good.

The restaurant has a darker aesthetic, but it feels cozy, comfortable, and welcoming. The atmosphere was great, and everyone was friendly. The ramen was outstanding. The noodles were perfectly tender, and the broth was rich and full of flavor. I also tried the sake bomb, and even though I'm not usually a big fan of alcohol, it paired surprisingly well with the ramen. The sushi was incredible too. Honestly, I wish the portions were bigger because I could have happily made a whole meal out of just the sushi!

We came as a group of 6, and upon entering, it took more than 20 minutes for us to be acknowledged. Bummer. I will say that this place is not suitable for large groups. We were seated at a large coffee table in the far back, right next to the restroom. As mentioned earlier, the food is great, but it took more than 40 minutes for our food to arrive. Tonkotsu is better than the Tantanmen. Black Lagoon is better than the Smoked & Mango. It's very expensive for what it is, but I'm sure it's because of the location and the hype of this place. Overall, the lights and decor are really cool, good food, but definitely don't see myself recommending this place to anyone!

One time his chicken was not fully cooked, or the ramen was cold, or he found a hair. They have seating outdoors that is first come/first serve so they had plenty of seating options. My first look through the menu though "holy price-tag!", as the they were even more expensive than I expected. After chatting with one of the chefs, he casually mentioned how it is difficult and costly for them to get ingredients that they need on the island, which is why the closet is so high. We started with the pork dumplings, they were good. Crab Rangoon was also really good. The Ramen was good with the exception of the pork, which was very hard to chew and looked like it had been cooked on a pan separately before adding it to the soup. Everyone at the table was in agreement. Overall it was good. Would I go again...honestly, probably not. The high prices kind of turn me away and there are plenty of other places that I would want to go back to and try first.
