I moved here from Toronto where threading salons were on every other block and it wasn't difficult to find someone to shape and clean your brows. Needless to say, after much searching (and botched threading experiences out of desperation), I finally found the perfect salon not only for my eyebrows, but my hair care needs too. I never used to treat my hair, I thought it was always an expensive waste of time. But after getting to know Javanika and commenting on how healthy her hair looks, I'm now at the salon twice a month not only for eyebrows, but hair treatments as well. The fact that her prices are low enough that I can afford to do this twice a month is a huge bonus. Javanika is the only person I will trust in Middle Georgia to do my brows, and I always get so many compliments on them that it's been easy to recommend people to her, and now she's busy all the time! If you have never threaded your brows and have only waxed, Javanika is the best person to try it out the first time. You will be converted and will never go back to waxing again. I called and she said there was no appointments. Then called back an hour later and said I could come in. I did. She was rushing. She did one eyebrow and the other she didn't finish. Then she made one thinner which I been growing them out so I can have them thicker when I get them done. I was so sad when I noticed how they look when I got home. Beware of this place. Everything was ok until I went to pay for my eyebrow threading service. While having a casual conversation with Janvika Patel at the checkout station, she was adding an unapproved tip to my card. She informed me the total was $10 and charged my card more. At the time, I didn't realize the added tip she included because the screen requiring your signature doesn't show the total, just a line for you to sign. Now I understand why she kept talking to me and it wasn't because she was being nice. She was distracting me while adding the charge. It is sad and disgusting when people take advantage of you. It is called stealing when you take something from someone without their consent. So much for building their clientele as they just lost one! read more

Mak's is awesome! I've gotten my eyebrows threaded at a lot of places and she is my favorite! Javnika is super sweet and very gentle at threading. This is also my go-to place for pedicures now.
