Just finished paying off my car from these guys. They were very flexible with the payments window and didn't shut off the car once. I was informed by the state that they'd never received the prof of origin for the car, but a brief phone call with Jim got that sorted out with no trouble at all. I was in a bind and probably wouldn't have been approved anywhere else but Malco gave me a MUCH better loan than CarMart was going to on a similar vehicle with higher mileage. I had a vehicle from them, they were always cutting it off with the tracker instead of calling for simple stuff like a copy of my insurance card. Definitely a buy here pay here trap. I had to put a new engine in the vehicle after a year. I was only one day late and they repossessed it. I had to pay 800 to get it back. They were paranoid since the tracker said I was out of state. I had called to make the payment but the guy who takes it wasn't there. Piss poor customer service either because I was young or african american. Stay away not worth it. I wouldn't recommend this car lot to someone with the worst credit score. The car I chose within the 24hrs that I had it the check engine light came on. I called them let them know about it they said they would get it in. I took it up there let them check it they said the part would be in in a week and a week passed I called the parts not in so now I'm waiting and calling, calling and waiting. The following week it rained and I get into my car and my drivers side floor from the front seat to the backseat is filled with water my car smells like mildew. I call them let them know they tell me to bring it in. I did. Now not only did they only vacuum the water from the back seat when I asked what it was he couldn't even tell me what the reason was behind it. He just said they sealed the backseat window and sprayed a lot of water on it so it wouldn't happen again. So now I'm leaving with the intentions that my car won't get filled with water again. Still no answer or date for the part I needed for my car. So now it rains again but this time my car is in the garage and my floor is filled with water again smelling like mildew yet again. When I called the man who fixes cars just rushed me off the phone as if it wasn't a big issue. The part comes in we set a appointment for 1pm on a Monday which is today also means I have to leave work early just to be here, I get here they say we set an appointment for 12 but on Friday when I called about the water in my backseat he said see you at 1. So now I have to take time off from work to reschedule this appointment and I've still been driving around with a check engine light on since I purchased the damn vehicle. read more
