And his crew is exceptional. I have rarely seen people work so hard. Our latest project with Jack was a turnout at the top of our driveway. Sierra Sun did all the grading and prep work, including a moss rock wall, before the asphalt went in. The result was beautiful and pricing was fair. He's also previously done some terracing work that involved the placement of mass rock walls. I always come away from Jack feeling like I'm dealing with an honest guy.

Giving 2 starts because Alexander's made the efforts to fix a walkway gate off the side of my…read moregarage as well as a double access road gate on the same side, but ultimately their attention to detail failed after those several attempts. To this day the access road gate still sags and is difficult to open and close. A few years ago they came and built some VERY expensive simple walkway gates and an access road gate. The first thing I said is I need them to be pool code because we were saving to build a pool. The walkway gates were in the area of $900. Time after time the walkway gate would not close on its own and, in my opinion was poorly built. I do appreciate them coming to try and fix them but ultimately could not. I've had to cut some pieces to get the lock to have enough space it would close. I would not recommend them as they could solve a simple gate not closing.

Gabe and his crew are always busy because they are really good at what they do. Plan ahead, don't try to get a "this week" rush job. We do light welding ourselves and have also used other welders and Harris Industrial in Auburn, but Ace Welding is by far our favorite custom fabricator. If you can draw an accurate engineering drawing or can rough something out and walk it in : they can help correct your drawing and do amazing things for very reasonable prices.
