Malley's is the old fashion chocolate shop that you dreamed of as a child. And the interior is well lit and open with loads of chocolate and other confections on display. I had come here right after having dinner, and so I had to stop myself from wanting to buy a lot more than I could eat. The service was pleasant and courteous. I chose five chocolates from their display: two buckeyes ( I mean, how could I not right?), a coconut, cluster, a dark chocolate orange cream, and a milk chocolate and honey chocolate. I love Malley's, but this is not the one I typically frequent. I normally go to the North Olmsted location for the ice cream, but my sis and I were getting our nails done in Rocky River and just wanted a sweet treat to "sneak" into the Indians game later that evening. (I say "sneak" because you are technically allowed to bring your own snacks lol) This is a tinier location than most and does not include the ice cream parlor like I'm used to in North Olmsted or Lakewood. But they have the same assortments of chocolate and treats! I opted for chocolate covered raisins and a CLE bar for the evening. The associate wasn't the most friendly. She kinda seemed like she didn't want to be there. For me, I know the assortments they carry so I don't need as much help. However, would be nice for her to help shoppers who maybe don't know what they want. This is why they lost a star. Either way, Malley's is my fave chocolate of all time. I still prefer the parlor-type locations, but this one is a good option if you want a quick Malley's fix! read more

I feel strongly that Malley's makes the best chocolate in the world. (I have even eaten delicious chocolate in Belgium... but would choose a Malley-Oh over that stuff any day!) Speaking of Malley-Ohs...this review is specifically for 200+ custom Malley-Ohs that we ordered as favors for our wedding. I first emailed Malley's via the email listed on their website - they responded almost immediately with a catalog and pricing options. From there, I ordered in-person at the Rocky River store. The whole process was super simple, and the final product was perfect, plus it arrived on time & was packaged well. We were very happy with how they looked (and tasted, of course!!!) My only regret is not saving more of the favors for myself for after the wedding......! read more

Had to try Cleveland's staple chocolate go to joint and boy was I blown away. I went with their famous Oreo dipped chocolate cookies. I also picked up a bunch of their chocolate bars. They also make their own chocolate fudge. Mailley's is definitely a must when visiting Cleveland. read more

I'm not big on chocolate bars or truffles, but lord all mighty a box of those delicious Bordeaux toffees does not last long in my house! It's English toffee and almonds drenched in Malley's milk chocolate with a nutty chopped almond topping, mmm so good! Hershey's chocolate factory in PA is not far away. In California, See's Candy is the famous chocolatier... But, here in Cleveland, Malley's is THE staple of sweetness!! With a chocolate factory off W. 130th & I-480 and a storefront in literally every town, Malley's is indeed the BEST chocolate around... Chocolate drips in many forms in the cool, white & pink store and it smells decadent & rich when you walk inside. I went by around Easter time. I couldn't choose from the 10 varieties of flavor-filled chocolate truffle easter eggs - so, I bought one of each!! My favorites were the thick raspberry mousse filled dark chocolate egg and the equally thick coconut creme filled milk chocolate egg. Bonus buy was Malley's milk chocolate covered bacon bark!!! Never even imagined I would like the taste -- but, SURPRISE!! It is delicious!!! Just as chocolate covered pretzels are a tasty mix of sweet & salty -- so is the taste of milk chocolate bark mixed with pieces of cooked bacon. Perfect mix of sweet & savory!! It was a hit at a cocktail party and as a dessert with coffee. The prices are slightly higher because the quality is so evident. However, occasionally you can find get buys... Don't be afraid to try unusual mixtures like chocolate covered fruit jells or chocolate covered corn chips!! read more

Malleys, summed up in one word is.... YUM. There is nothing like Malley's Chocolate when you're in the mood for something sweet. I highly recommend the Chocolate Covered Pretzels or Buckeyes. Good lord... chocolate heaven. This is a small location, but still really good selection. The day I was in there, they were playing Les Miserables on the radio (which made me fall in love with them even more). The prices are pretty high, so we keep these treats for special occasions or just when we're really in the mood. These are also awesome gifts for people in your life who love chocolate and sweets. read more
