They usually get me in and out within a respectable time. I haven't had any times where they came out and gave me a line of BS about my vehicles. Came here once to have a damaged windshield wiper fluid nozzle fixed and it went well enough, didn't charge me too much. Came back for an oil change because my usual place was closed and their waiting room was empty. Asked if they could take me right away and she said yes, asked me if I'd been there before. I said yes and that's when it got weird. First she asked me "with tone" why we didn't have service when we were last here for the nozzle a month ago. Didn't need an oil change a month ago, so I don't see how that's relevant. Then she says "Okay, it will be about an hour..." so I asked "I thought you could take me right away?" Her response was a sarcastic "That's how long it takes, we're not Jiffy Lube!" Now I don't go to Jiffy Lube, but most places I go only take 20 minutes. Even if they do a more comprehensive service, I didn't need the snark. Definitely won't come back here unless the service warrants going to a Ford service center for my Escape. My salesman was very nice, Phillip. Everything was ok and then....after all the fast talk and getting me to sign everything I see everything after its too late. I was told they dont offer the Ford Certification ( which was daughter bought a Ford Certified vehicle in Florida,) I was told that the plan I had for the warranty was the same but I did not get points that I was promised. THEN... I get a letter form Ford saying there were inaccurate amounts listed for my gap insurance and service that I purchased. I am starting to feel like I was scammed. I am going over my paper work again and may need to consult someone because they did not discount my vehicle AND it looks like they sold it to me for the new price. I am extremely upset that the calls to me were never returned and even when we went to give the down payment checked we were greeted very coldly. read more

We bought a vehicle from Malloy in Winchester and it has been absolutely the worst experience ever since. Their after sales service department absolutely sucksass and their staff are complete bumbling morons. They are liars and very dishonest people, basically sub humans. We have taken the Exploder in for service numerous times scheduling everything weeks beforehand with promises of loaner cars and promises of getting it taken care of. There were no loaner cars given at any time...said they are unavailable after scheduling one to be available. The recall issues are never taken care of even though it was scheduled to be taken care of, like the roof rack that keeps popping up or the electric seat heater that doesn't work any more...or perhaps the recall for the terrain control which left me stranded when car went into limp mode and would not move any further. This is a real shittyoperation and I would NEVER EVER buy another car from them or have my vehicle serviced there any longer. I understand there is a new place that is operated by a bunch of monkeys...I'll take my car there before I come back here. I took my car in for an order change and state inspection. They failed to tighten up the lug nuts on one of the tires and while my wife is driving it home from their shop there is a horrible noise and grinding. She calls the shop and the service manager comes out and realizes their mistake. All of the lug nuts were laying along the road. Calls a wrecker and takes my truck back to their shop. They ended up putting the lug nuts back on tight enough to get the truck back to the shop. The service manager is totally apologetic and says they are going to fix my truck, detail it and throw in two oil changes. They had to order the replacement rim. I didn't ask for a loaner since they seemed to be doing the right thing and I had another vehicle that I could use. On Christmas Eve they tell me my car is ready. I get my truck. First thing that I realize is that it wasn't detailed. No big deal since I just want my truck back. On the way home once I reach 65 miles an hour, the truck is vibrating. I take it back to the dealership and I asked them if they took this out for a test drive. Said they didn't but would put it back up on the rack to check the alignment. I told them this is their fault that my truck isn't running right and they need to fix it. I told them that they had a week and I expect and update as to what they are doing. I got one phone call. Once the shop opened back up over the holidays I called them and they tell me they have fixed an issue. When I get there they tell me that the issues is with my tires and that I need new ones but there were not bad enough to fail inspection . Needless to say I'm not happy. Bottom line is that you forgot to put lugs on my tires. Damaged my rim and then have the nerve to tell me that I need new tires. I bought and have had them service this truck. Never again. Very unhappy with the experience here. Raul the sales man was pushy and rude. A lot of back and forth with zero interest in working with the customer and no people skills. He would rather insult the customer as if that was going to help his chances selling a car. Go to any dealer but here for a good deal because they don't want to help you out. This is the second time that I have dealt with the online service at this dealership and each time it has not went well.They send you a deal and when you get to the dealership it is something totally different to what you expect. I received the deal on a used car I bought online and when I got there it no longer exist. They had all the reason why and the long and short of it was the deal I received online is just to get you there. They had a coupon online for 1800.00 if you bought a used car. I filled it out and received a break down of what I would get the vehicle for. That did not happen and then they gave me one key. The sales person told me to keep the key to my car and get it reprogrammed. that didn't happen either. The vehicle that I bought was not cleaned properly and I would have told them but I am sure they would have a good excuse for that too. Just beware of anything they tell you until you get to the final stage and the finance department tells you. I brought my Ford vehicle in for ROUTINE maintenance (oil change and yearly inspection.) Of course after the inspection, they suggested repair a few things on the vehicle due to wear and tear. The vehicle is 7 years old and because I had taken the day off from my busy job, I agreed to all the repairs. I had no idea when I would have the time to come back. This was about 10am when I agreed to said repairs. I had my boyfriend's father come pick me up since they said it would be awhile to go grab some lunch and come back for my car. I hear NOTHING from them all day long to come back for my car. I came back just before closing with my boyfriend. The young man behind the counter says it's almost done that I'm the last car they are finishing up. "Go grad a coffee and we will call you." While at the Espresso Bar around the corner I receive a call from the dealership. "So, I have some bad news we actually broke the tire rod on your vehicle and we can't give it back to you like this. We will pay for it since we broke it and we will definitely discount if not cover the rest of your repairs as well. I'm so sorry. It's totally our fault." I had to at this point agree to let them keep my vehicle not only over night by the next day in order for them to receive the part and fixed what they BROKE on my vehicle that I trusted them with. I get a call late Saturday that they just finished up my vehicle. This entire time I'm without a vehicle. Therefore had to wait until Monday when I would have a chance to pickup the car. On Monday, I arrive and I speak to two women at the counter. I tell then my name and my car. They both appeared worried and couldn't figure out the receipt. The receipt for my car appeared to have shown as a balance of $0.00. I was as surprised as they were. My boyfriend and I both asked two or three times if they were sure and then they handed my keys over. I thought that because of all my trouble and the fact that my family has all Ford vehicles that we service at the dealership they foot the bill because THAT would have been great customer service and I would have liked an apology. It's now over a month later and they are calling me acting like I convinced someone to zero out my bill and that this is my fault. I don't know if they were reviewing their end of the month and realized what happened or if that repair technician isn't there anymore but, I fail to see how this is my fault as the customer DO NOT! I am only giving them a 1 star because I have to in order to say something. I bought my car from these people and I only have 9000 miles on it and I called for an oil change and for service because it is making a grinding sound in the back when I have to pull out in a hurry and the turbo is used. I was told that I would need to pay $168.00 Diagnostic Fee. I said wait this is a new car under warranty with 9000 miles and she said doesn't matter you have to pay that and if your warranty company agrees to fix it then the repair will be covered but you still have to pay the $168.00. OMG what Dealership does this? I am a Ted Britt Ford Customer that moved to Winchester but if I could do it again I would drive the miles to Chantilly as the Customer Service is so much better. I ask for the Service Manager it was only 4:19 and was told they leave at 4:00 .... omg I have never ever heard of a Dealership that lets their Service Manager go home at 4:00. Maybe it is because I am from Northern Virginia but to me that is awful awful Customer Service. So I will come back to you tomorrow and let you know what happened in this situation. I try to buy local and we have purchased one car from the Ford dealership but between the processing fee, the add back in the destination, and their business fees, it is tough. This is one of the few types of businesses that you can pass you overhead back to the customer. Then you get into finance and they hound you for the extended warranty, tire and rim repair, paint sealant, and maintenance. It just does not end, and since I have a brain, I can't let them rip me off; if I need all this the car is a POS and I should not be buying it. This is all their dealerships. This will continue as long as customers buy from this type of car dealer. Try Parrish Ford in Goochland, big difference or I typically go to PA. Shop around and save your money. I have tried all the dealerships in Winchester the only one that was any good was Stutzman. I hate leaving this type of review because it is jobs for the community but people work hard for their money. read more

I purchased a new 2019 F550 Dump truck from Mark Bloomingdale at Malloy Ford. I had been looking to purchase one out of Florida and came across this one at Malloy Ford in Virginia on Truckpaper.com. Mark was an absolute pleasure to work with. He went out of his way to make sure all my questions and concerns we addressed. I flew a guy into Washington Dulas Airport to pick the truck up for me and he sent a gentleman by the name of James to pick my guy up from the airport (which was 40 minutes from the dealership) this saved me probably at least an $80 uber ride. The were extremely accommodating. Mark messaged me to meven make sure my guy got back to Florida okay. My friend who drove the truck bzvk to Florida, let me know that James, the driver who picked him up from the airport, texted him to make sure he got back alright. These guys at Malloy Ford went above and beyond! I highly recommend them and will keep them in mind for future purchases. read more

Wrote to Virginia Attorney General Office for help, Malloy Ford manager had never been involved but made statements were in fact not true. she is disconnected from the business and says things that she has no knowledge of as she was not part of discussions. dont buy extended warranty or maintenance as these people are scammers. service department tried to help but was limited due to finance putting wrong date on warranty package. finance sells package as "greatest thing since sliced bread", all BS. now I have written to President of Ford Motor to see if I can get refund. next step is to file suit against Malloy Ford. complete waste of time and energy, but I paid for a service they did not provide and the warranty was not cheap. I want my money back Malloy Ford for the extended maintenance. end this dispute by reimbursing me now. read more

Buyer Beware! Do not trade-in your car at this dealership; their trade-in valuation process is questionable at best. If you must trade-in, insist on going with the Sales Manager on the test drive- we made that mistake, and our car came back smoking, with the Sales Manager saying we needed a new engine. Fortunately, we left the dealership, and did not purchase from them. The next day we took our car in for service, and the "blown engine problem" could not be duplicated- wow! Expected to have it back by the afternoon. Driver who dropped me off at work was pleasant and quick. Received a call that service was complete by 0930. My ford had 3 recalls on it and I brought it to Malloy as they were closest to my house. When I dropped the vehicle off I asked that they repair ALL 3 recalls and that they did not have to rush I wouldn't be able to pick it up for a few days. One of the recalls was that the car would completely shut off while driving. This was the reason I brought the car in to them in the first place. I picked my car up a week later and the battery was dead when I arrived. I brushed it off and had them jump my car. I then had to rush over to the gas station as it said I had 2 miles until empty. I dropped the car off with at least a quarter of a tank. I drove the car to work and later that evening had some errands to run. Around 7:45PM while I was driving the vehicle with my 9 month old baby in it the car completely shut off. I had to call a tow truck driver to come and get us and I had him tow us to the nearest ford dealership (koons in Sterling). The next morning I called as soon as they opened to see what happened. I asked to speak with a manager and I was directed to Loral who told me she would help but I need to speak with Dan. I explained the situation and she looked it up and found that they only performed 2 recalls instead of all 3. They did not do the recall that had the most dangerous outcome. At this point I'm floored because I spoke to Malloy and let her know this was the reason I was bringing the car in and I also spoke with Shawn and explained that I wanted all recalls taken care of. When I picked up the vehicle I was never told that all recalls were not done but they were nice enough to write me up a ticket that I needed breaks. Loral was great super nice friendly and helped me out as much as she could because Dan was busy. Dan not so much he was made aware of the situation and never called. I contacted him 3 times that day with no luck and finally left a voicemail because apparently apologizing for his department was less important than whatever he was so busy with from 8:00 AM until the time he left. I did get a call back the next day at 11:03AM from him but I had sent my dad in there to talk to him instead of me missing work or waiting on a phone call. Basically there was no resolution to the situation from my understanding there wasn't anything he could do at all. Mind you, because the recall wasn't addressed my battery got fried and I had to purchase another one, I had to use a tow from AAA, and I had to Uber that night to get from the dealership to the ER and then home. We had to take a trip to the ER that night because when the car stopped and we got it to the side of the road my boyfriend got out to look under the hood and dislocated his shoulder. All of this because they did not fix the THIRD and final recall on the car that we requested they (and that they said they were going to) fix. While I was waiting for Dan to call me I reached out to Lisa yesterday as well because I was told she was the person I needed to speak with. I'm still waiting for her to call me at this point. We will be reaching out to the regional manager to see if we can at the very least get an a apology and see if there is anything that they can do. I would like to add that my family could have been killed in an accident because of the negligence that we experienced. We dropped our car off with Malloy in good faith that the recalls would be taken care of and that we could safely drive off the parking lot (which was not the case). read more

Went in to see about getting a vehicle from a different location transferred (still a Malloy lot) to the Winchester lot so I could purchase it and was told it would happen as soon as I showed some ' commitment' via paperwork. apparently they use jet fuel to fill their car tanks because I was told it would cost over $600+ to get the vehicle from their own lot less than 75 miles away to the Winchester lot. Tried to negotiate a price and the first pencil they gave me was the also the final pencil as I was told they wouldn't drop the price even a penny lower than sticker. They ran my credit score which was is in the "good" bracket , no missed payments and came back to tell me all the banks rejected my loan except for one and that they would give me a 17% interest rate (yes, SEVENTEEN) with a $5600 down payment on a $14,500 vehicle. Went through my bank for the finance instead and got all the parameters I originally wanted with low interest/monthly payments and updated the dealership / sales person every step of the way with crystal clear communication on my part to get the check and the vehicle transferred over. Malloy was blowing up my phone at 9am to check about the loan and was promised to get the vehicle delivered. As soon as I got the check from the bank I was told by Malloy I had to wait (over 4 hours) because a deal was 'being worked on with another customer' When I asked what was going they told me the customer took the car for an "overnight test drive". I had to call Malloy to see what was going on the next day multiple times just for them to tell me the car was sold. I can't speak for the other Malloy lots but stay away from Winchester, it's nothing but brain dead sales people who will dick you around and waste your time all while trying to scam you with some overpriced vehicle and slavery equivalent loan. They don't call them stealerships for nothing. Absolute morons and scam artists are the only people who work here. Stay away from them at all costs unless you like flushing your time and money down the toilet. Take your business elsewhere. read more

Malloy Ford attempted to fix my 1999 Ford F350 Diesel Pick-Up Truck. They advised me that the diagnostic test showed the #8 injector needed replacement. I authorized the work. Once completed I immediately noticed a knocking noise in the engine that had never been there before. I brought this to their attention 3 times over the course of weeks and each time their representative told me there was nothing wrong! I finally got a second opinion from another Ford Dealer in Woodstock, VA. Well come to find out I am advised by the other Ford Dealer that Malloy Ford had installed the wrong injector in my truck. When I went back to Malloy Ford and confronted them with this they refused to take any responsibility. I am in the process of trying to reverse the charges placed on my credit card to the tune of nearly $1,400.00. If that doesn't work I will seek judicial intervention and request judgement from the District Court Judge. I would not recommend having any service work done at Malloy Ford. They either don't know what they are doing because there was a notice sent out by the Ford Motor Company advising all dealers of the proper injector to install on #8 or they simply make mistakes that they don't take the responsibility of owning! read more

I arrived on time for my appointment only to be told that they ran out of the recall parts and I would have to come back. My appointment was for 8:30.....the service department opens by 7:30.....why couldn't someone call me? Malloy Ford This is one of the worst places to buy a new vehicle. I purchased a new 2015 Ford f150. It has rusted out on the rear end and crank arm that connect to drive shaft and other places. I have owed it for 1.5 months. I have address the issue to Malloy ford twice and to the main ford dealer as well. They have done nothing. Not getting the mileage they said it would. I only get 15 miles a gallon on a v6 motor when it says I get 17 mpg. I would not recommend purchasing a Ford or any vehicle from this company. There service was poor. The sale guy told me I can crawl under some of the other fords on the lot to see if it was rusting on others. I address the rust issue to the service department the guy lied to my face and I proved him wrong so he walked away from me. I dont like being lied to or paying top dollar for a new vehicle and feeling I got a cheap piece of junk. read more

Where to start. We took our truck f350 to malloy ford for a radiator leak. The work was done under extended warranty. The workmanship done was terrible to say the least. There's a transmission line rubbing against radiator. Over time the hose will rub against the radiator and it will puncture the hose or the radiator. There are 2 plastic clamps in front of radiator that serves a purpose to hold a hose in place. Needless to say both clamps were broken and nothing to hold the hose in place. Also, antifreeze line wasn't clamped down in the proper place. The clamp had slid down the hose which would allow the hose to potentially slide off. Two screws were missing out of the headlights. The truck was purchased from Malloy ford too. read more

Not only did I have a good sales experience but months later I was out of state and locked my keys in the car. I had totally failed in the adult department and hadn't yet gotten a copy of the keys. After calling late on a Friday they managed to track down down the previous owner who remembered the key code for the doors. (Which is stored safely in my phone and I finally got that other key). It was late on a Friday and these guys could've just looked in my file and not have seen anything and said sorry. Instead they went the extra mile and I'm so thankful to them. When you call back and let them know that only one lug nut on both the front tires was actually secured on they ask you what would you like us to do about that.
