I guess I should have checked these reviews prior to becoming a patient. While Dr MDavis seems competent, her staff leaves much to be desired. Requested callbacks are nonexistent, wait times are unacceptable (1/2 hr plus~consistently), they insist on face-to-face follow-ups rather than putting test results on their online chart. My blood pressure skyrockets every time I have to wait for my appointment. They didn't even spell my first name nor my last name correctly on the most recent test summary. Parking was a little crammed today. However, I had a great experience at MD Neurology. From check-in to check-out, the staff was professional, friendly, and efficient. The office was clean, organized, and easy to navigate. The Nurse practitioner was very thorough, took the time to explain everything in detail, and genuinely listened to my concerns. I have been going through Alzheimer's diagnosis and treatment since 12-24. The staff is always unresponsive to requests for call backs. They will NOT return calls. It's no surprise this practice has low ratings across all platforms. I only went because my neurologist recommended their equipment for diagnosis. From the start, the experience was disappointing--the office felt neglected, with cheap artwork and an unwelcoming atmosphere. I filled out forms online beforehand, but they had me do them again on paper upon arrival--why the duplication? After a 40-minute wait, the nurse asked me the same questions from the forms. When I asked how much longer the doctor would be, I got vague answers like "shortly" and "soon." Finally, I was told "no more than 10 minutes," but after waiting 25 more, I left. She would ask me questions and then talk over me and not let me finish, if I didnt answer her in 1 second of her asking a question she would say "Hello? hello??" I would give them zero stars if I could. Literally every aspect of my experience has been awful. They don't respect your time. For my 2 visits, I waited for a half hour and a 45 mins respectively for appointments that were made weeks in advance. Not that this necessarily indicates a good or a bad healthcare provider, but the office is shabby, with obvious signs of neglect and lack of care. Ugly, generic artwork that is poorly hung. Dingy lighting and exam rooms that feel cold and outdated. The staff is impersonal and barely competent. When challenged to follow through on the most basic fundamentals of communication and followup they give attitude making me feel like my most basic expectations were unrealistic. In my specific case, my doctor, Dr. Teodoro Agtay, prescribed me 2 MRI's that were rejected by my insurance. At first, I was angry with my insurer as I thought it was inconceivable that they would have my best interest in mind when making the decision to decline my scans. After spending hours on the phone with MD Neurology, my insurance and their 3rd party adjuster EviCore Healthcare, I discovered that Dr. Agtay didn't follow basic procedures and skipped numerous steps in my treatment that would automatically trigger a denial of the MRIs. Dr. Agtay was given direct notice of this and could have directly appealed the denial with a simple phone call. After 2 weeks of inaction by MD Neurology, it was the MRI facility that notified me that my appointment for my MRI scans were cancelled unless I was willing to pay for them out of pocket. I then spent hours on the phone again to ascertain the direct number for a peer-to-peer appeal with EviCore Healthcare. I provided this direct number to MD Neurology and was told that the Dr. would engage ASAP. When I called to follow up after 2 days, in addition to action being taken, there was no new information on when I could expect a response by Dr. Agtay to engage and defend his prescription for my MRIs. It was at this point that I fired Dr. Agtay and MD Neurology and am now looking for a Medical Facility and Dr. who actually cares about my welfare. I highly recommend not wasting a month of your life in pain and discomfort with no progress on your symptoms. read more

This starts from my first visit which was in 2022 when I was left waiting for Dr. Malone-Davis for over an hour and a half. When she did finally show up, she barely offered an apology. Today, I requsted refill off my seizure medication. I was told i needed to be seen before I could get a new prescription. No appointments until August!?!?! I said ok, but I'll need a supply to hold me over until then. The receptionist said she had an oening in May. Again, I said ok, but I'd need the meds in the meantime. Again they said not until I'm seen in the office in May. I connot overstate my disdain for this office. My first appointment I waited for over and hour and a half (appointment time was at 3:25) the next one about another hour (945am).. if you do call in for prescriptions that's needing prior authorization-- you won't get I even if you call multiple times. My son had an appointment to see a PA (I think). His hands are in a LOT of pain. We had been waiting almost a week after seeing his primary care. They asked for his ID. He is handicapped and has never needed and ID and he had been to probably 50+ doctors and hospitals. None ever would not see him without ID. Despite us having waited a week and the amount of pain he is in, they would not bend the rules to see him. They said they needed the ID for insurance. Is this the only doctor in NV that needs to show medicaid an ID? I don't think so. Not willing to help. Now we need to find another Neurologist and wait for appointment. read more

Been seeing Dr. Malone since 2017/2018 always received good care. Came to do a follow up because my primary care doctor had new findings. Dr. Malone was scheduled far out that I just decided to see nurse practioner Buena until I could get in w/ Malone. On the day of my visit APRN Buena scanned through the my doctors findings and said they wont do anything about this unless you're having symptoms. Hence the reason I'm here she wanted to place me in medicine that Dr. Malone had already prescribed to me and didn't work, which I mentioned. I got tired of hearing what can't happen I told her I dont think you're listening to me and therfore you cant help me. A day later I receive a letter (certified) that they will no longer see me. I didnt come for her anyways and just because someone disagrees w/ you shouldnt warrant this. I was respectable and I'm taking my care seriously which I had every reason to be mad when theyre not listening to me. I'm filing a complaint with my insurance and whoever else. If I could give less than one star, I absolutely would. Worst office staff I've ever encountered and their billing department is seriously doing some very shady (and I'm sure illegal) things. It truly looks like a health department or ER waiting room and you will definitely be billed for a copay for even setting foot in the door with no additional services being provided. Do yourself a favor and do not come to this practice. As you can plainly see from the multiple other bad reviews, the word is definitely getting around town about how awful and unethical this place is. Let your primary care doc know NOT to refer this practice/doctor (who your lucky if you even get to see...most likely will be a nurse practitioner). My experience with this office for 1 year now has been excellent this is only speaking for my experience not speaking for other people I know that they have gone above and beyond for my medical for my medication and taking care of me even other things that they normally don't especially other medications that I have needed refills on. They are excellent they're very attentive they listen to all the issues that I have medically and they have saved my life because I felt like I was going to die because my brain was killing me. I like to thank the office all their staff members that has been involved with my medical this entire time I'm so grateful I felt like I was falling apart and I felt like my brain and my migraine headaches will be the death of me and my heart reacting to it. I would recommend you come to this office but just beware that they do have a lot of patience so there is a lot of hold times and waiting but it is worth it at the end of the day. They do the best that they can and I can see that they do like I said again they may get backed up with lots of patients because everybody wants to come into their office from word of mouth of saying how wonderful things about them in fact I have referred many people to them and their wait time is probably longer now but if you want good medical treatment this is the place. Like I said it may take time but they will do everything they possibly can to take care of you even after your weight is very long they are very very attentive and I can't stress that enough I've gone to many doctors where they ignore me they don't listen to me and I thought at some point I was going to end up falling apart and dead but I came to them and they were able to take care of me all the way until now. Hopefully you can have the same good experience as I did and as I am still receiving I wish that there were more doctors like this office the nurses everybody overall collectively they're excellent and I hold them at high regard because of how much they have taken care of my health. I have been a patient for several years at this office, something has changed there! The environment and office staff are very hostile towards the patients! My doctor was great but once you leave the doctor and rely on her staff to get referrals done it is a waste of your time and your health! This staff has caused so much unnecessary stress and anxiety it's ridiculous! I have been waiting for over 5 months now to get my referrals, all they do is blame my insurance! Very unprofessional especially when I call my insurance and they tell me I'm approved for all the procedures but yet not one office worker will call and do their job and and try to help. I received excellent care from Dr. Malone-Davis. She is very friendly. Her bed side manner was outstanding. When I explain to her my problem areas. Dr. Malone-Davis, is genuinely concerned about my conditions. I knew that she had went over my files thoroughly and she knew all of my conditions. Worst DR's office ever. I have never been treated so terribly by the office staff!! By no means are patients always right, but I do not believe office staff should argue with patients!!!! NEVER HAVE I HAD SUCH RUDE SERVICE FROM A DOCTOR'S OFFICE IN MY LIFE. I went in for my appt, I barely got greeted, no smile from anyone, no pleasantries offered or exchanged. They took my BP & heart rate & told me my heart was low & needed to be higher. First of all, the medical staff should not be offering opinions like they. They are not educated enough to tell people. Besides that, heart rate isn't something you can just think of a different number & it changes. Then, I had an appt scheduled for my Botox (tomorrow) for my migraines & they called me at 5:00pm the night before my appt to tell me they were still waiting on insurance & I needed to call my insurance company to fix it. Hell no I don't. I've been on this med for 5 years & have done it 4 times before with this same insurance company. Why the hell didn't they check this before? She tried to tell me I was just there a few days ago so this wasn't a big deal. Anyone who's gotten relief from migraines with a treatment knows it's a big deal to have a treatment. Sophia (medical assistant) argued with me for 5 minutes about why this is my responsibility. Then I asked to speak to the mgr. The manager, Jamie, came on the phone, did not identify herself so I didn't even know I was speaking to her until 10 minutes into our conversation. I dropped the f bomb once referring to how ridiculous this was & she threatened to hang up on me because I was swearing at her. I stated to her I didn't swear at her, I was frustrated & she keeps interrupting me. Then she started telling me what I was doing wrong & that I didn't need to ask more questions & asked if I was going to call the pharmacy to approve the medicine. I told her I didn't know what she was talking about. She claimed I was interrupting her & that I was being rude. She asked if I still wanted the appt or not. I told her I wasn't sure if I could because I didn't know if the insurance was going to pay it or not. She tells me, "well that's why I said call the pharmacy because insurance has already approved it." I said, "you actually didn't say that & you just interrupted me again". She interrupted me about 14 times on a 20 minute phone call. We went round & I kept trying to get her to stop interrupting me & speak calmly & she kept raising her voice on the phone. I used to love Dr. Malone but over the past couple of years the practice has gone downhill. You have to wait forever just to be seen for maybe 5 minutes. If you try to call good luck getting ahold of someone and when you do they're no help. I had an issue with my pharmacy right before a holiday weekend and called them and they basically told me the doctor wasn't there and they couldn't help me cause she was on vacation. Mind you for a different kind of doctor I wouldn't have been so upset but this is for epilepsy and not having medication isn't an option. Now they just sent me a five years worth of bills. My last appointment they called me less than 2 weeks before an appointment saying they had to reschedule because she's going to be on vacation. Doctors deserve vacations but I also should have more than 10 days notice so I can make arrangements. Dr. Malone has been critical in my daughter's care. She is kind, thorough, conservative and spends a lot of time each visit answering our questions and addressing our concerns. She is current and always willing to share her experiences and the research and findings from studies to help us make educated decisions. I love that she listens to my daughter and her concerns without forcing her opinions on her. She was the recommended pediatric neurologist, by our pediatrician of 13 years, as one of the best in the valley. Her office staff is fine, we've never had any issues in our three years, but regardless would put any issues aside to be able to see Dr. Malone. 100% recommend! read more

I got there about 10:53 and the waiting room was full. So I waited. And waited. All of the people who were already there were called back, then came out and left. Finally, I went over to the woman who checks patients in and told her that I had been sitting over an hour, and I was leaving and not to reschedule me. I had to wait weeks in suspense about my medical problems because the doctor went on vacation. They knew I had a tumor in my pituitary gland and didn't tell me for weeks while I was waiting for my test results in suspense. I waited 2 months for a nerve test and they call me the day before after I took off work and said they can't take me and they'll put me on for Thursday. Then they tell me later they can't put me on for Thursday either and tried to put me on for 2 months later. They say they'll call you back and never do. Went here in Sept. '22 for tests, followed up a few weeks later to get results and was told they're still working on them. Continued to follow up, week after week for months, and told the same thing. My physician also reached out multiple times and was never provided with the test results. We finally gave up, knowing we would never receive them. 8 months later, I received a bill, still never provided with my results.
