I have never experienced such amazing customer service and assitance as I did in the last few days from Malone's Garage! I did a number to my car and had to get insurance involved, from the start Malone's walked me through how to do everything and got my car into their shop right away! Not only did they store my vehicle but they also spoke with the adjuster for me! The speed in which they did the repair is simply amazing! From start to finish I was without a car for 72 hours, including insurence issues, and it is as good as new! (Had progressive even been half as accommodating as Malones I am most certain I would have had the car back sooner) Any and All of my further car repairs will be through here and I suggest you do the same! read more

Went in to get my photos for my insurance done. I called to make an appointment and was never told to bring anything his response was I guess I can get you in this week, get there and they want printed ID cards. I let the guy know no one told me and this piece of shit says to me like all customers saying I didn't tell them I told everyone. Awful! Stay away from this business! My son is a student at the local university and was desperate to get home at the end of the semester. They knew he was desperate so they charged him $600 to replace the alternator and fix his turn signal. When he picked up the car and drove a few miles, the car would not go above a certain limit so he brought it back. They claimed that something else was now broken and he would have to pay another $500. I believe that they purposely broke something in the car so he would return. I ended up paying over $1,000 to have the car towed home to NYC. They took advantage of a young man who only wanted to go home. How would they like it if someone did that to their child? Called and made an appointment to get a photo inspection for a new auto insurance plan at the end of the month. Arrived 5 mins early. Service rep came out of the back and barked if I have my printed insurance cards as 'told' over the phone (I explained I was given NO instructions over the phone while making the appointment). I said no but I could email it to them and they could print it if needed. CARCO explicitly states NO PAPERWORK is required. He refused to print the copy and stated HE required it and attempted to SCOLD me I should have insurance cards in the car anyways (this insurance doesn't start for another few weeks, and I DO have my current cards in the car). I asked if I drive home and print them and return if he could process it. So I did just that and returned with the printed cards. He then proceeded to ignore me and make me wait 15+ mins. While waiting they also proceeded to lock another customers key fob in their car on them .... I left and got it done elsewhere. Certainly a business I would avoid at all costs. Never imagined to treated so poorly over a simple photo inspection. read more

This company waited a week to cash my check for a $31 inspection and unfortunately the money wasn't in my account by then. Now they are trying to charge me $100 for a returned check fee! They were unable to work with me at all and threatened to have me arrested if I didn't pay the $100 returned check fee. Do not take your car here. If they are willing to charge you over 325% for an accounting error, then I can only imagine how they are scamming old ladies by making unnecessary repairs and marking up the cost for parts! read more

I had my brake lines rerun and my subframe plated remounted as well as an inspection. They were thorough with the work they did. I dropped my car off when I had time and they worked diligently to get my vehicle in and out. They test drove it to make sure they were giving me a safe vehicle for myself and my children as well as an extremely fair price for the work. read more

The service at malone's garage is by far the worst I have ever experienced in my entire life. The behavior of staff was dismal. I had my car towed to this location by AAA. After i was told the car needed a battery and they said the battery would cost 150 dollars I went out and purchased a similar battery from Walmart for 81 dollars. When I showed up at Malone's garage on friday at 4:30 pm. After paying for 98 dollars to have my oil changed and to tell me that I needed a battery. They certainly charged me for an hour of labor even though they did no service, they still refused to install the battery. I then said to install the 150 dollar battery because I needed to get the car out of the parking lot. They refused saying that they were closing in 25 minutes and they couldn't perform the before closing time. At this time the entire staff was just waiting to leave for the evening. At 5 pm all of the staff left while I waited in the parking lot for AAA. I have made an complaint to AAA, allowing them to understand the abysmal service of this center. After waiting two hours AAA towed me to Advance Auto Parts, whom I purchased a battery for 100 dollars and they installed in less than 10 minutes for no charge. I would never return to this location and I would certainly tell anyone who desires customer service, professionalism, empathy, and people who act like adults to avoid this location! To make a long story short last July right before I left for Ia job 1000 miles away my jesen healey started to have an electrical problem. I know its considered an exotic car ,the motor yes but the electrical system is actually very simple, I was told Malones in oswego was a good place to take the car so right before going I took it there for lube oil etc and it had recently developed an electrical problem. This car had been my daily driver for over a year I was pressed for time but the first time and they were unable to fix the problem before I had to leave so I bought another car and went off to Indiana . While I was gone I asked them to fix the electrical and get the car running properly then I put it into storage until I got back . I had had no water pump issues but knew the car was prone to those issues so when they called me and told me I needed a new pump fine. I told them I didnt care how long it took so if they took their time it was fine with me one month 1700 dollars latter they had replaced the distributor cap water pump told me they found the problem a loose ground in the points, I NEVER would have thought of that. All fixed I paid for it and had the car put into storage when I got it out I did take it for 6 months latter I got about 120 miles and the same problem returned so I bought it back and they replaced the new ground wire and told me I owed them 110 dollars due to the length of time. I asked the owner to check the mileage on his paperwork to see that it has not had any miles put on it. He refused to look , I reminded him I bought it it to have the electrical fixed ...he denied that ever happened . While I do have a full vocabulary I find when faced with lying tradesman boardroom vocabulary doesn't express displeasure as job site construction vocabulary does, I wanted my meaning unambiguous .I am not a mechanic or an electrician but I do have some knowledge. When this started I wanted to have the car professionally repaired . Being just an amateur it took me about 2 hours to properly identify the problem I never had say any problem with the water pump prior to bringing the car in but being a 1000 miles away I had to trust them. MY mistake I now question whether there was any problem with the pump. . Just to add salt to the wound he ignored me when I told him I wanted to pay him and get out of there then told me I had to pay him cash.
