You can find pretty much anything here. Small packaged food items, drinks, toiletries, kitchen supplies, packs of socks or underwear, cleaning supplies, phone cards, cigarettes (for you smokers)... I could go in and on. I still have a really nice Rubbermaid colander and a plastic mixing bowl with handle I bought here in 2002. I use both frequently. I bought a granny cart around the same time here to use as a laundry cart, still have it. My favorite pair of sunglasses were purchased here, sadly broken during an especially drunken night out circa 2004. One of my favorite things to buy here was Dr. Sheffield's baking soda toothpaste (before Sheffield rebranded as a high-end offering, you used to be able to get a tube here for ONE DOLLAR. I'd buy like 10 and they would last months. I'd also get bleach, parchment paper and stuff like that. It's a fairly busy store because the neighborhood locals all know and shop here. I still stop in when I'm in the area to get deals on certain items.

It was 10 people in line and I waited 12 minutes. I'm not complaining about that however, when I stepped up to the counter, the young lady stated the person in front of me was the last one before our break. It was just me and an older lady roughly 80 years old left and the time was 643. When we talk about customer service this is exactly what we think about. I wouldn't even consider it going above and beyond to have given me and the lady behind us our prescriptions, but they did not in the pharmacist was right there. This is why folks are leaving Walgreens and even having it delivered or going to CVS. My tip, do better!

The sign said four cases for $5 assorted flavors. I picked my four flavors and my mom and I walked to the checkout line, only to be charged $5 per case instead of the four for $5. At this moment my mom and I informed the cashier as well as the manager on duty at the time, and the manager/assistant manager named Larry is talking to us very dismissively and had a slight attitude as well. My mom and I were told that the signage was a mistake and they wouldn't honor the sign because the pice was from a while ago and it was meant for the 2 liters which is now 2 for $3. My mom and I went into Save a Lot again yesterday they still didn't change the sign for the can pop and they also had sign prices for other things in front of other food products and I have pictures. All in all, if I could give this store and the managers a negative rating then my rate would be -20/10. Not only was the customer service bad the prices are not saving anything and the placement of prices are meant to deceive people into paying more if they're not careful. Also I have pictures.
