2nd time used their service. First labor only. This time used labor and truck. Moving my daughter's college apartment from storage to her new townhome (1 bedroom, living room, kitchen stuff). Not a lot of large furniture (1 couch, 1 love seat, queen mattress w/light metal frame, 2 coffee/entertainment tables, 65" TV, MANY small boxes, etc.) 3 movers had storage unit loaded into truck in under 30 minutes. Had truck unloaded and items into respective rooms in under 45 minutes (note: bedroom was upstairs and there were several large boxes that had to go up a narrow stairwell). Even offered to put bed frame together and mattress on top (didn't know where we were going to put bed in room, so did ourselves). We did have one item that got mixed up in the furniture padding (blue gym duffle bag that was same color as the padding). None of us saw it in the truck at the end of the unloading. After contacting them the next day, the item was found in the padding and brought to us. Customer service went above and beyond to help find the item and return. We will make sure to put bright colored ribbon or something else on bag if we pack things in it again so we can easily find! (or maybe we just put it in a box!) We will use again next year when she moves on with here education. Cannot recommend Mama Boy Movers enough. He loaded all of my belongings in Oxnard, California, and safely transported everything to Gilbert, Arizona. Moving to another state is stressful, but Tevin made the entire experience so much easier. Tevin and a couple of his guys helped me move out of my single bedroom. They're great guys, really friendly, funny, and sociable. I don't think most people realize just how much effort or time really goes into moving but when you're making sure things are done properly and carefully even a single bedroom can turn into a full day job if you're by yourself especially with all the loose items that aren't in boxes. That being said these guys were quick and careful and they never stopped moving. Even after taking the time to wrap all of the fragile items, dressers, nightstands, etc. making sure nothing got damaged or scratched they got everything moved into the truck within an hour. They really know how to break a sweat and I have to commend the guys that carried my 6 drawer dresser up 2 flights of stairs without removing any of the drawers that were full of clothes. Mama Boy Movers is one of the best moving companies I have used. I received quotes from multiple moving companies. Their online portal was easy to use and allowed me to provide an inventory of what was going to be moved. After I submitted my request I received a quote and information on how to schedule my move and what to expect. Tevin communicated directly with me and was able to able to answer all of my questions. His quote was competitive with others I had received. On the day of the move, Tim contacted me to let me know when they would arrive. When they arrived all of the guys introduced themselves and we did a walkthrough of what was going. After that they got to work. We recently used Mama Boy Movers for our move from Simi Valley to Thousand Oaks. Tevin responded very quickly to my request for an estimate and then we set up a facetime walk through of our house. On the day of our move we had a crew of 4 and they were all very friendly and hardworking. We have a lot of stuff and so our move took two full truck loads and a long day for the workers but they did a great job and worked very efficiently! Everything was wrapped carefully. A former coworker and friend recommended MBM to me and my neighbor. My neighbor used them first for a move from Northern California to Montana, during the winter storms. My neighbor was very impressed and highly recommended them. I went ahead and contacted Tevin, who was very helpful and was quick in getting us a bid/estimate.
