AVOID!! Especially if you don't have hours. We arrived around 1:20. Ordered around 1:35. Pizza was ready at 2:40. 1. Services wasn't great. Kinda rude at times. 2. The parmesan on the table was moldy underneath. please see photo 3. The veggies on the pizza seemed to be frozen. Zero flavor onions. 4. They charge a $1 for a cup of water!!!

    Pizza was very tasty...

I was a little skeptical when we first arrived since the restaurant was fairly empty for a Saturday night, but wow! This place exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, with a casual Italian dining feel. They seated us by the window, which made for a really nice setting for dinner. We may have just come on an unusually slow night, but it honestly made for a laid-back and enjoyable experience. I started with the spinach artichoke dip, which was rich, creamy, and absolutely delicious. I especially loved the little toasted bread it was served with. For my entrée, I ordered the manicotti with pink sauce, and it was incredible. The portions were huge, so I could only eat about half, but that just meant leftovers for later! Since we were some of the only people in the restaurant, it felt like we had the place to ourselves, which was actually pretty awesome. I also asked everyone in our group what they thought of their meals, and every single person said they loved them. Overall, it was a great experience with excellent food, generous portions, a cozy atmosphere, and wonderful service. 10/10 would recommend!

Which is sad because like I said I love the manicotti. And if this had been the first time service was lacking I wouldn't be posting however, this seems to be a constant issue there.

They are located in the Collective food hall. Depending on how much time I have, I'll eat in at times or more often do a DoorDash pickup(they border an alley that I can idle my car in immediately outside to run in and pickup my order). I've enjoyed everything I've tried off of the menu and they also offer thoughtful monthly specials at times, so you really can't go wrong with anything in my opinion when having a pasta craving. I have not tried their focaccia yet which is their other namesake. Their particular corner in the Collective has not been forgiving to previous occupants so here's to hoping they buck the trend and remain successful!

The food looks appetizing but with it being served on a Styrofoam plate, somehow makes the meal look cheap. But that's how most of the places in the Collective serve their food, so I guess efficiency is what they're going for. The Rigatoni Bolognese was delicious, savory, and tender meat sauce over al dente pasta. It's wonderfully made, I find the dish very comforting. The Mista salad was okay. My minor complaint is that the salad was not washed properly. I forgot what the dressing was called, their in-house parmesan dressing was tasty, but it's a very thick dressing. We also had their daily feature focaccia pizza: delicious thick crust with savory toppings and sauce. And good portion size too.

I ordered a Taco Pizza, probably my first mistake. I paid over 40 bucks for 2 pizzas, one being a straight cheese pizza. My second mistake. Well I took a bite out of my taco pizza and it was truly the worst. The crust was undercooked, the meat taco sauce was sparse. The only thing that was plentiful.was lettuce! I hope it wasn't from Taylor Farms! I closed the pizza box and placed it in the fridge. I took it back this evening and the box was cold. Next odd thing was the person at the register looked at me like I had 2 heads when I explained what happened! I asked if he was ok? Very weird. He was not the manager, so he went to the back to fetch him. The manager came out and I explained to him what the problem was. He listened and said that complaints should be handled the same day I got the pizza. It was delivered after dark after and I started eating after they closed. I explained that. He kept saying the same thing regarding their policy, which I saw posted, NOWHERE! I am done with these folks! This pizza was inedible to me and not to make this right shows me my business means very little to them! There was nothing that was meant to be underhanded on my part and I don't care about that mediocre food enough to come with a lie! Very poor customer service. The food is Overpriced and UnderSeasoned!! Better to learn before I dropped another 40 dollars! One more thing, when you are working with food, you need to have better oral hygiene! Meth Mouth is not very appetizing to say the least. I probably dodged a Bullet for real! The bartenders was prompt with getting us menus and taking our drinks orders. I needed help narrowing down both my drunk and entrees but the bartender was very helpful. We got the complimentary bread and dips, one of a reduced balsamic spread, the other a super delicious Italian salsa verde that was so good, we needed more! We ordered the suppli el telefono as an appetizer that was delicious. I was a little surprised the red pepper pesto was cold but the stuffed risotto was hot. It ended up working well together, crispy and delicious, packed with flavor. I got the mixed green salad that was bright and refreshing. My partner got the soup which was a broccoli cheddar situation that was amazing! I ordered the Roman Carbonara and added the spicy Italian sausage that was juicy and perfectly spicy to my liking. My partner ordered the filet and that was also juicy and flavorful. We love sitting at the bar because you get to interact with a bunch of staff. Every single person we encountered was super friendly, cheerful, and gave us their opinions of their favorite menu items which was basically the entire menu so now we have to come back! The cocktails were delightful as well. I finished the meal with an affogato and it was the perfect ending to a wonderful meal. The food and service was top notch.

Finally booked a table for dinner, seemed like the kind of place that fills up, so we didn't risk just showing up. The room felt relaxed. Not loud, not stiff. We were comfortable, which is about all you want on a Friday night out. I got the Roman carbonara and honestly it was the highlight. It's hard to describe without sounding like a food blogger, but it tasted like someone actually knew what they were doing, the sauce had real depth to it and the pasta wasn't overdone. When the plate arrived I thought "that's it?" but ended up finishing it and not needing much else. They brought out bread with some dips while we waited, and we had to actually pace ourselves so we didn't ruin our appetite. Small thing, but a nice touch. Our server was good checked in a couple of times but wasn't constantly interrupting us. Food came out in reasonable time even though the place started filling up around us. The price is the part that gives me pause. Adding protein to a dish cost noticeably more than I expected, and it's not somewhere you'd go casually on a weeknight. For a proper night out though, yeah, it felt worth it. I'd go back to try some of the other pastas.

Upon calling, I spoke with the owner, Caesar, and was told that if I did not like his food, I did not have to eat it. He then started going on a rant about how hard it was to be a small business owner and said "the customer is not always right I know how I make my food and I'm not going to change how I make it just for one person" I was then told I could have my food remade or I could get my refund if I came back into the restaurant today. After that interaction on the phone, I will not be returning, to what? Get chewed out again in person? There is no reason to be that aggressive with people who are spending their money on your food, and it would probably get you a lot further along as a small business owner to be nice to customers so that they have good word of mouth to spread and want to come back. Don't work with the public if you can't handle public opinions :)
