You can never go wrong with Victoria's. We came in on a Friday night so it was busy, but we got in about 20 minutes later, which we had no problem waiting. It's a quaint, vibrant place, so be prepared to be in close quarters with other diners, but the food is worth it. You can tell the pasta is fresh, which is what sets Victoria's apart. We had the best of victorias with whole wheat linguine and pink sauce, and the black pepper linguine with snow crab. Be prepared to have the itis! I love this place! It's such a staple in Norman and a hit everytime I bring guests here (which is often!). Their food is amazing. My favorite items are the cheese bread with alfredo sauce and pasta primavera. Their pasta is cooked perfectly al dente, and they have a wide variety of sauces. The service is always top notch, and the space is decorated really well. They also have an outdoor patio with tables to eat at whenever the weather is nice! Each pasta comes with garlic bread on top, and compared to most places in Norman, it's super affordable. I highly recommend dining in OR doing take out. Victoria's is definitely in my top 2 favorites in Norman, and one of my favorites ever! read more

It's definitely a hot spot in downtown Norman. - I was disappointed by the house salad because the mixed greens were just drenched in balsamic vinaigrette. Nothing special about the salad but it was ~$5. No other vegetables besides mixed greens which was fine but it's just a boring salad. Too sour. - built my own pasta but I was so disappointed by the DRYNESS and lack of SEASONING on my plate. - the garlic and olive oil sauce didn't mesh well with my pasta so I was really disappointed. - vegetables were unseasoned. Great spot! We had lunch here recently. While it might not be the quickest place (bc it's totally homemade), it was worth being 5 minutes late back to the office! Between four of us, we tried the combo (with a lasagna roll and alfredo), the linguini and a lunch special--alfredo with artichokes, sun dried tomatoes, and red pepper sauce drizzle. Everyone loved their choices. I especially loved the lunch special. Portions are perfect for lunch. I'm generally a fan of Victoria's food, but choose somewhere else to dine if you: a) are extremely hungry; b) have after-dinner plans ; or c) have ANYTHING ELSE going on in your life. I know Victoria's is a Norman institution, but the service is appallingly bad and always has been. Every time, we swear never to go again, but after a while we decide to give them another chance & we always regret it. Tonight we waited at least 45 minutes for our meal, even though the place was not particularly busy. Our server refilled our drinks a few times, but at no time did she apologize for the wait or indicate when the food would be ready. We've been customers for many years, but never again, Victoria's! This time we mean it! Oh, and the chicken served in the Chicken Parm (generally my favorite) has been extremely tough the last few times I've ordered it--very disappointing. read more

Fresh, delicious pasta from a local Norman staple restaurant. We love the Best Of Victoria's Lasagna Rolls with one Pasta. Best bang for your buck, although everything on the menu is very reasonably priced. The cocktails from the bar are also great. The atmosphere is usually busy and a little noisy, but the patio out back is perfect if the weather is nice. Even when the place is very busy, the service is still on point. Well I thought that this was gonna be good being the only Italian restaurant in Norman that was above 4 stars but I was very very very wrong. I would rather have Ragu with spaghetti noodles than eat here again, I hate ragu!!! The worst part were the noodles they were hard and way underdone. Just to top it off they didn't provide any utensils nor napkins. This is a college town. I was fine not having all the extras because I have them at home but no parm no peppers nothing just this and I will say it was a good amount, of hard chewy just basic marinara box of grossness would never recommend to anyone read more

In town for a school tour and it being Good Friday, we opted for pasta for dinner and saw this place had good reviews. I guess the chef was having a bad day. I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo and it's the most bland Alfredo I've ever had and the noodles were clumping together. Ordered the cheese lasagna and I have no words to describe how unappealing it looks and the dried parts of it. You'll see the picture of said pasta dish. Ordered the black pepper crab pasta and the lunch special linguine with a Caesar salad. Both dishes were awesome! The food was slow getting out but there was only one waiter and one waitress and our waitress still did a great job handling so many tables at one time. They were obviously short staffed but yet the food was so good that we overlooked that issue. We will be back. read more

I LOVE this place!! Seriously, I'm craving their cheesy bread as I type this. Staff is so friendly and quick to seat you. Everything I have ordered has been my favorite thing. Their salads are always so fresh and huge. The pizza is so good and cooked perfectly. Never doughy. They have a gluten free pizza crust as well. It's actually good too. Get the cheese bread. Get it with anything you order. I promise you won't regret it. I'm pretty confident it's one of the best things I put in my mouth. Drinks. The Vic's swirl is my favorite!! Drink slowly to avoid brain freeze though. The do a special cocktail list and then they have their regular cocktails. Also, several beers on tap. I've had several items from Victoria's and I've never been disappointed by anything. The lasagna rolls and cheese bread are divine and the atmosphere suits business lunch or a date night. They have a cute bar and decent selection of spirits with a cocktail menu. I had garlic bread with pesto and Alfredo dipping sauce as well s as a Negroni for an early dinner yesterday and the pesto was INSANE wonderful. They make it in house. Love this place! Everything is made from scratch!!! This isn't a heat and eat place like Cheesecake Factory, Chili's, etc which means that if you are dealing with a food allergy, you are safe here. I have been a regular patron of Victoria's for over a decade. Sometimes the food ids outstanding and other times not so much. These inconsistencies tend happen in intervals over several months. I'd really like to give more stars but the dinner salad was a disappointment and lacking in quality. I'd rather the staff have told me tell me we only have spinach salad. But instead my salad included brown tiny pieces of lettuce stems concealed by a mountain of spinach. The menu reads "seasonal greens". Other seasonal greens are crisp-head (iceberg), loose leaf, butterhead, and Romaine (cos lettuce) are all fall lettuces Additionally there wasn't the typical freshly grated Parmesan. I know this was available because my linguine was topped with an entire cup of Parmesan. At least there was oil and vinaigrette included with my spinach sprinkled with old brown scraps of lettuce stems. I'd like to say this was the exception but it's sadly not. It's a gamble. read more

Cozy little shop off Main in Norman. Service was good. Food was pretty good. Wasn't jaw dropping but it hit the spot. Granddaughter got her usual 'ghetti and was a hit. Went and ate at Victoria's on main street with my family last night around 8. It was our first time there, took a while to get our drinks, took probably 15 mins to get one bar drink, our server disappeared for a while and popped for a few mins and then would disappear again. Immediately was kinda thrown off from what the servers were wearing... one was in a tank top and shorts that you would wear to bed, another was in a corset that was see through in areas but then 2 other girls were dressed fully clothed as you should be in a restaurant. Those things were odd but manageable. Food was mediocre at best. Water was tap water, coke was completely flat and you could tell the bag was empty, we told our server and she never brought a new one back. no straws. asked for bread to be specifically with my meal and 2 plates were brought out 15 mins before our meal. Not much flavor, bread was very much so "bought from store, barely spread butter on it. warm it up". Decently small plates. While having fresh made pasta was good, none of the sauces the 7 of us had were anything to write home to or to say much about. But towards the end of our dinner, a girl was walking around the restaurant barefoot, she came from the back and walked out the front door saying bye to the employees so we thought maybe she was leaving for the night but weren't really sure and again, she had no shoes on. About 10 mins later she came in the front door, a couple of the servers went and talked to her and hung out with her, one of them walked her to the back to the bathroom. she was in the bathroom for probably 10-15 mins and came out, music blaring on her phone. the servers were still talking to her as if they knew her. the girl then proceeded to make her way to the front of the restaurant but stopped at our table.... we were done eating and had out plates piled up and trash tidied, and she came up to me, said she was so happy she got to see us again and was glad we got to come in and she loved me (we have never seen this girl in our entire lives before tonight) and took my plate from infront of me and said "i'll take this" and proceeded to walk to the bar top, set my food down that had my napkin on it, take the napkin off, and ask the bartender for a box.... the bartender gave her a box and she boxed my food up and left the restaurant (you could tell she was very much under the influence of something)..... not a single employee in the restaurant batted an eye. there was probably 3-5 other tables in there who also watched the whole thing.... everyone turning to us looking as confused as we were. and not one employee came over and said anything to us or to her before she left. the manager then came out about 5 mins after she left and sat at the bar top and no one said anything to him about what just happened. - yes. we were done eating. and she probably needed the food more than we did. BUT. for no one in the restaurant to acknowledge that she was disruptive and to allow her to come back multiple times, and then no one apologize to me & my family for her behavior and actions, is very very very unprofessional. Not sure we will be back after that experience. Victoria's, do better please. read more

That cheese bread is fiya. If that's the only thing you get, it's worth going. The portion is huge and the cheese is old country-worthy! It's awesome that they give you a big heaping of marinara and Alfredo sauce with it. Service is really great, but it kind of takes a long time to get anything. I ordered the black pepper linguine with shrimp instead of crab and I'm happy I did! My husband ordered the chicken parm but he didn't really rave about it. The thing that makes me keep coming back is the quality of the noodles. I haven't had that anywhere else around. Those noodles are amazing. Perfectly fresh and tender. The pasta comes with a delicious sprinkle of shredded cheese on top. This gives it some flavor, but overall, it lacks in flavoring. I expect big distinct pasta flavors, so they really need to work on that. You can tell it's prob made by mid-westerners. It's kind of like why bland Ted's is popular here. read more

My husband used to eat here when he was at OU and drags us 45 min every time we are in the state. If you can get the IDGAF hostess you're going to have great service and great food. We ate there two weeks or so ago, the meatball appetizer was really good so we thought we were in for a good meal. We were very wrong. The pasta that I raved to my mom about was dry and seemed to have been made at least a few days ago. The Chicken Parm was disgusting, the breading was mush and the chicken was something I've never experienced. It was somehow crunchy, chewy, tough and stringy all at the same time. The waitress we had was inattentive and when she was told about the chicken, she said uh I'll tell them. That was it. No apology, no I'll get you a new piece and no follow up after she "told them". The meal cost us $90 and my husband was the only one that got a drink. Sad that something so amazing as homemade pasta should be was worse than Olive Garden. read more

When my friends and I went here on a Saturday evening it was busy but not packed, there were a handful of clean tables open and a couple parties waiting to be seated when we walked in. It took about 15-20 minutes to be seen to and sat at a table. Our waitress came back a couple times while we were deciding what to order and made that a nice quick process. It took around 30+ minutes for our food to come out to us, and we had the cheese bread appetizer while we waited. I had wanted one of their pastas on the menu, but ones w/o meat would be $3-4 more to add. So I ordered the chicken lasagna and the serving was a good size. My complaint is that the flavor was all sauce and cheese, which wasn't bad, but I couldn't taste the chicken at all and would have liked to. I definitely liked the white sauce pastas my friends ordered better, the sauce was less overwhelming to the other flavors. read more
