I've been to several of the other Fiddleheads. I find them to be well-designed, offering quality products, and staffed with great people. My first visit to this location was consistent with my past experiences. This location is large, with multiple areas for seating -- tables inside several rooms and an outdoor patio. Lots of windows bring in natural light. It was busy, yet the noise level allowed for easy conversation. Got a super friendly greeting from the barista (who was doing a great job of taking and making orders). Ordered my London Fog (tea latte with a little vanilla, a little lavender, and extra foam) with a Lavender Blueberry Scone. The latte was good, and the scone was decent (but its texture was more cake-like than I prefer). A very good experience. Would be glad to stop by again.

Friendly staff, ample seating, great coffee, and good breakfast sandwiches! The Ham Gouda Croissant is delicious. I also love the layout of this location, as it offers different types of seating areas.

Came here a few weeks ago for a quick caffeine pick-me-up as I was otherwise occupied running errands 'round town (you know, prior to #saferathome). They roast (not at this location, but, locally, in Wisconsin) their own beans and have a fun, inventive specialty coffee menu. They also have a small selection of pastries and other goodies. I ended up ordering a mocha from their specialty coffee menu as well as a pbj muffin. First of all... Why didn't I ever think of combining peanut butter and jelly in a muffin?!? Because, it's good, my friends. The jelly was a little overly sweet (and I ended up taking some off), but other than that it was a peanut butter packed marvel. The mocha was solid, though, their espresso doesn't have quite as robust a flavor as I typically prefer. They were quiet when I was in and have plenty of tables. Could definitely be a good spot to work (again, after #saferathome). While their cafes are currently closed, according to their website, you can still order locally roasted beans to help support them as we all stay safe and socially distant.

GF options not great. Coffee drinks were okay. Not stellar, but in a pinch. Barista was nice. Ambience was good.

Their sandwiches seem skimpy compare to Kurt Schulz deli. Try the sometime. Let me know your opinion

Incredible coffee, great service, and super easy and safe during COVID! Wish there was one closer to MKE but the drive is always worth it.

Date of visit: January 11, 2026…read more The latest edition of our monthly bakery stops brought us to Interurban Coffeehouse, the rare Foxtown outlet that doesn't actually have "fox" in the name. Points for the name, borrowed from the nearby trail and surely eliciting squeals of delight from the old school train crowd! Front of the house staff were very friendly and patiently explained the different pastry options on offer--many of which looked amazing. First we went with breakfast; my brioche egg sandwich was quite good though my husband found his english muffin sandwich to be bland and unremarkable. Unfortunately, their food system needs some work. I ordered the sandwiches for dine in with my name. The kitchen staff prepares the orders, hurriedly mumbles a name on their way out of the kitchen and unless you are standing in the right spot to hear him, you don't know if that's your order or not. Making matters worse, our food was prepped to go. Staff did offer to plate it, but it seemed silly to also dirty dishes and plastic containers so we declined the offer. The pastries are really where Interurban shines! I had half of my husband's cinnamon roll three days later and it was amazing. Like Costco cinnamon roll amazing. And my roasted pineapple cheese danish was phenomenal the next day hot out of the toaster oven! I was going to take a picture but I devoured it before my wits were totally about me, so you'll just have to take my word on that one.

The giant cinnamon roll immediately caught my attention, and it definitely lived up to the hype. It took me two days to finish, but every bite was delicious. Just be prepared for a generous amount of icing. I also ordered an iced matcha and an iced caramel latte, both of which were full of flavor. The wait was under 10 minutes, making this a great stop if you're in the area and craving quality coffee and pastries.
