The pizza and service was AMAZING. We went off the server's recommendation for our pizza. She recommended her favorite which was the Robinson Island. MAN! Was it a good pizza! Nice crunch to the pie. The ingredients were fresh. Did not disappoint. We sat outside on the patio. Has a nice garden feel to it. Could tell it was the off-season for the restaurant, as the outside bar was close. This is a gem of a restaurant in every category! The food was beyond tasty, we ordered the lasagna and the flavors were to die for based on the noticeable depth of flavors from what you could tell was fresh ingredients. Heck there is a herb garden outside with basil and green onions etc. The sauce for the lasagna was a bit on the sweet side but did not detract from the quality and delicious taste. The garlic bread was nice too. The service was great and very accommodating. This family-owned and owned restaurant is known for their authentic Italian pizzas, with a menu full of delicious vegetarian options. I thought it was time for an update from a couple years ago, and I'm still fabulous full from my delish dinner there tonight. A few of the prices have bumped up a little but these are the days we live in. What's not changed is the friendly faces, excellent service and piping hot, fresh and delicious food. Tonight I had a antipasto, which was outstanding, the chicken parmesan and those spot on bread sticks hot from the oven. My honey also had an antipasto, some vino, and spinach manicotti and we really enjoyed our meals from start to finish. Mamma Mia Pizzeria has absolutely a local favorite, with lots of folks raving about their amazing pizza crust and generous portions. This is a pretty nice spot, Mom and pop owned with some indoor seating looking over thr kitchen and an excellent patio. The greek salad was yum but maybe could be a bigger portion size. We tried the mama mia (similar to margarita) and veggie half half combo. We loved both options and couldn't decide on our favorite. The server was attentive and even replaced our pizza when a couple of slices fell off the pizza stand in accident and also secured our purse that we left on the chair. We usually enjoy this pizza place but tonight I called and was out on hold for 10 minutes (not exaggerating) then ordered one large pizza everything except anchovies! We pick it up and get home - it's not hot (we were there waiting on it when it was ready) and it's covered in ANCHOVIES!! Ugh...we picked them off but the fish smell and extra salt were cooked into it, so needless to say it was pretty hard to eat since we were hungry. Mama Mia was a good place for pizza. We looked forward to stopping there when shopping in Foley. We went there today 4/24/24 and got 4 pizzas and an antipasto salad. Takeout. Sadly, they have changed the pizza recipe. The dough is tasteless. Premade crust maybe? Sauce and toppings are mediocre at best. Antipasto salad was disappointing. Salad is already in the trash. Son & daughter-in-law raved about this locally owned pizzeria and they weren't wrong! Compared to another well known and popular pizzeria (local, yet a small chain) that is over priced and basically you're just eating bread, Momma Mia's has them beat, hands down. Ordered their homemade cheese sticks. Epically delicious, especially dipped in their marinara sauce - elevated and complemented one another. Pizza - sooo good! Supreme Pie (minus Italian sausage) & pepperoni pie were topped & dispersed well with ingredients. The crust DID NOT takeover, it was thin, and not soggy - toppings and crust were well balanced so you could taste the toppings. Shout out to staff member who directed me to order their Supreme Pie, instead of build your own, which would have cost more, thank you for being gracious. Ordered takeout and my son went in to pickup, so didn't see the inside. The exterior looks like a vintage diner, which further supports their vision, "house made American-Italian cuisine". My husband and I ate here this evening. Let me say I'm so glad we did. I had a slice of the Robinson Island. Oh my goodness, so good! My husband had a slice of the stuffed pizza. He is particular about his pizza and he thought it was very good. The Italiano sandwich was so yummy, although I will get it next time with not so much of the Dijon mustard. One thing was different the chicken wasnt a whole breast like most places it was chopped up like u buy in a bag frozen but it was so good and I dont know they didnt cut breasts up..the sauce was thick ,really tasty.. they bring it out to your car,I dont know if they have dine in ,to be sure give them a call..they also dont add an additional 4 % to your bill if u use a cc cause we never carry cash.. and we dont go to places who charge that fee..we will be back. ..so good. read more

Great pizza, the place was packed even though it's a little out of the way! The people that worked there that I came in contact with were as genuine and friendly as they could possibly be! Good pizza. But 2 bad experiences. I got the Alfredo and it made me sick it was so greasy. Then, well, our second visit, good pizza, good breadsticks and really good mozzarella sticks. It just took 2 hours. We are a family of servers and get circumstances, low staff, but everyone who came in after us, ordered after us, got their food and even left.......before we even got our food. Even the runner started getting confused as to why non of the food was ours. So, maybe we will only order pizza to go for now on. Server was really nice. read more
