I saw a lot of Press and Facebook posts about this place, all positive. And I got three of my friends to join me here to see what the reviews were about. I have to say this, and my friends concur that the food we got here was without a doubt the best hamburger we have ever had. And the fries weren't shabby either. The staff was fantastic and very welcoming and all of us agreed that we would all be back to experience Cheeseburger Randy's again. This may be the best Smashburger in Baldwin County. Usually there would be no way to get me to sit outside and have a burger on a July afternoon here on the Gulf Coast. But this was absolutely worth it. The staff was immediately friendly and friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience. They just had an awesome upbeat vibe going on here, even though the heat index was probably over 100°. The real star is the burger itself, the double smash patties were perfect. I loved the grilled onions and pickles. The bun was fantastic as well. The fries came out, piping, hot and perfectly salted with flaky salt, oh my God I love them. I called a buddy before dinner and told him I wanted something amazing. Not just food--something that had clearly been thought through and executed well. He rattled off a bunch of options, but none of them sounded right. I found this place on Yelp, saw the reviews, and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The menu is stripped down to the essentials: three burgers and three side options. Fries, onion rings, or frings. That's it. No giant menu trying to be everything to everyone. Just a team that has clearly decided to focus on doing a few things exceptionally well. The burger was outstanding. The smash patties had an incredible sear. The pickles were sliced paper thin. The lettuce was chopped instead of being a giant leaf hanging out of the bun. The sauce had a familiar Big Mac-style vibe but was clearly their own thing. Every ingredient was there for a reason. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. The temperature contrast between the hot burger and the cool toppings was perfect. The texture and layering of flavors were exactly what they should be. Somebody has spent a lot of time thinking about every component of this burger. The onion rings were hot and crispy. The fries were crispy, salty, and exactly what you want them to be. Nothing felt like an afterthought. The atmosphere fits the food. Simple, confident, and authentic. The staff had their own vibe, the place had personality, and nobody seemed interested in following trends for the sake of trends. They just make great burgers. I've already decided I'm coming back to work my way through the other two burgers on the menu. That's probably the highest compliment I can give a restaurant. If you appreciate craftsmanship and people who have truly studied their craft, this place is worth a visit. read more

My buddy told me about Cheeseburger Randy's and how fantastic the burger was. The restaurant is located in Foley near the Candy Store. Great little location, and boy, they grill some damn good Smashburgers. They also have fries and Rings as well as, a good selection of adult beverages. Best cheeseburger I've had in a very long time. I'm from Kansas, and I'm going to really miss this when I go back. Burgers absolutely smash, I recommend the Randy Burger. The loaded fries were also amazing, menu didn't have one thing I didn't like. Bartenders/ servers were so nice, let us try a sample of sausage. Very friendly, very welcoming. Super fast waiting time for food, staff above and beyond friendly and great outdoor vibe. The hamburger I had high hopes for but really lacked flavor and the cheese was so sticky it made it hard to chew and swallow like like eating velveeta unmelted if that makes sense. All 7 of us loved our food! Some of ordered the cheeseburger, and some The Randy. Both are really solid, very good smash burgers. The staff is super friendly and the food comes out quick. The restaurant is open from 11-1 and then 4-8. It is an open restaurant concept, so be prepared for getting to know some people you may not have known. They have a very cool atmosphere, with great music playing. There is a reason this place has become so popular. I would say that if Cheeseburger Randy is reading this, there was a lot of whiz on the loaded fries. (T.G.I. Fries). It was really covered in cheese whiz and that is pretty much all you could taste. (There is also conecuh sausage, jalapeños and their burger sauce on the fries. All we could taste was the Whiz.) read more

If I were on death row I would request this meal. The staff are lovely and friendly and the service is quick and attentive. The flavors and quality of the food itself is out of this world. There are only three burgers on the menu and you can taste why they have been selected. The vibes are good and there is plenty of covered seating and also outdoor seating. When we went recently, there were also mini fans on the tables under the covered area. Clean bathrooms, excellent service and food, and filling portions. We are so glad we discovered this last year and get to return every summer after. read more

I had to go in and get the TGI fries! They come with jalapeños, cheese, the burger sauce, and conecuh sausage! They sent me with 2 forks like I was sharing with someone . All mine! We tried Cheeseburger Randy's on a Monday night. The Randy and the cheeseburger was outstanding. They have patio and outside seating. You order at the counter and they bring out you food. You fix your own fountain drink. The onion rings and fries (order of Frings) are good. The cheeseburger was two 'smashed' patties, American cheese, shredded lettuce (shrettuce), thin sliced pickle and sauce. Sauce was almost like the other Mac sauce kind of like thousand island dressing. It is served with the onion rings too. The Randy was all that with sliced Conecuh Sausage on it. Really tasty and quite unusual. They have three different cheeseburgers, fries and onion rings on the menu. There are a few other topping choices and I noticed the have the Impossible meat burger. Went to lunch here today. Arrived at 12:30. There were still two tables available and even though it was in the high ninety degrees they had several fans operating and all in all it wasn't uncomfortable at all. The staff that greeted us, took our order and brought us our food were incredibly nice. The cheeseburgers we ordered were amongst the best I've eaten in my 68 years. Cheeseburger Randy's is a great new restaurant in Foley, Alabama that offers a limited menu, but the few items they offer are done very well. They only offer three types of cheeseburgers, your standard, one they call the Randy's (which has Conecuh sausage) and one with bacon and jalapeño peppers. They also offer either onion rings, French fries or a combination of the two. A limited menu, but again, their cheeseburgers are a testament to what a cheeseburger should be. There is no signage, so if I wasn't looking for here specifically, I would never have found it. With t h em being less than a month old, maybe they will be adding a sign You can either dine inside or they have tables out in the side yard of the business I chose outside and it was a great ambiance. The service here was extremely friendly. It truly added to my overall experience. I would definitely recommend Cheeseburger Randy's and I will give it five stars overall. Menu is limited to burgers, and one kids meal nuggets option, BUT, do one thing and do it well!!!! Food was AH-MAZING.
