Local owned!! Fun location.. be careful when parking. Narrow road and gravel lot. Check out daily specials. Shrimp and crawfish boil was huge and loaded with shrimp!! Regular menu has wide variety of choices. Pizza..burgers...sandwiches..fried fish. Drinks are poured well. Limited selection of beers but full bar.

Coming to this spot- trying to find something with good fish - nothing looked to appealing- so went with the tuna fish - which I felt like the bread was tastier than than the tuna - came out with my side salad - which was also better than my boneless chicken wings -thanks again

Food was fresh and very good. Atmosphere was what one would want for a fish house experience. The shrimp were huge, fresh and delicious. Tried the coleslaw with my meal and it was really good as well. Service was top notch.

We were so glad to see that someone decided to open here again after the old place shut down! The service was great! We had the pizza and wings, and both were yummy. I loved that the wings are smoked and then fried. I do wish they had some other wing sauce options besides just BBQ, Buffalo, and honey mustard, though. Parmesan garlic, sriracha honey, or even just lemon pepper would round things out some. Malinda had the pizza Margherita, and it was delicious. The sauce and crust were yummy, and it had big circles of melted mozzarella. We tried the onion rings, too--they weren't like they used to be, but I really liked the sauce that came with them. They have their liquor license now, and they actually have 10 draft beer options. All in all, we are so pumped to have another restaurant close to our house! We are excited to go back soon to try the burgers and other options.

Had a great breakfast right on Bon Secour River. Best bacon I've ever had and a triple chocolate cheesecake was really good. Feeding the turtles in the river was very cool. A great place to watch the sunset.

He rattled off a bunch of options, but none of them sounded right. I found this place on Yelp, saw the reviews, and decided to give it a shot. I'm glad I did. The menu is stripped down to the essentials: three burgers and three side options. Fries, onion rings, or frings. That's it. No giant menu trying to be everything to everyone. Just a team that has clearly decided to focus on doing a few things exceptionally well. The burger was outstanding. The smash patties had an incredible sear. The pickles were sliced paper thin. The lettuce was chopped instead of being a giant leaf hanging out of the bun. The sauce had a familiar Big Mac-style vibe but was clearly their own thing. Every ingredient was there for a reason. What really impressed me was the attention to detail. The temperature contrast between the hot burger and the cool toppings was perfect. The texture and layering of flavors were exactly what they should be. Somebody has spent a lot of time thinking about every component of this burger. The onion rings were hot and crispy. The fries were crispy, salty, and exactly what you want them to be. Nothing felt like an afterthought. The atmosphere fits the food. Simple, confident, and authentic. The staff had their own vibe, the place had personality, and nobody seemed interested in following trends for the sake of trends. They just make great burgers. I've already decided I'm coming back to work my way through the other two burgers on the menu. That's probably the highest compliment I can give a restaurant. If you appreciate craftsmanship and people who have truly studied their craft, this place is worth a visit.

On a recent boys day out I took a few of my Buds to check out this new addition for Arizona BBQ,…read moreyeah you read right, Arizona. Colt Grill BBQ & Spirits just opened in downtown Foley, AL, and I was curious to see how their smoked meats and Western vibe would fit in with our Southern scene. This place is a big deal for Foley, it's set up in the historic Foley Bakery building, a 100-year-old landmark that's been closed since 2007. The building, at the corner of North Alston Street and West Laurel Avenue, got a major facelift over the past year, and now it's home to this BBQ joint downstairs, with apartments and an office upstairs. Colt Grill started in Arizona, with four locations there, Prescott, Prescott Valley, Cottonwood, and Village of Oak Creek. Foley's their first venture outside Arizona, and they picked it because they loved the South's charm and Foley's small-town feel. Walking in, the place feels cozy yet upscale for a BBQ spot. The exposed brick walls and custom furniture, sourced from the owner's family of furniture builders, give it a warm, authentic vibe. Brenda Marie Clouston, the owner, has a background in interior design, and it shows. The setup is pretty unique for the area: you order at the counter, but there's a full-service bar where bartenders bring your food if you sit there. My buds and I grabbed a table, but the bar looked tempting with its lineup of bourbons and signature cocktails like the Foley Bushwacker and Colt Margarita but only one pal took advantage of the spirits. And they have happy hour :-) The menu's got all the BBQ classics, but it's not just ribs and brisket. They smoke nearly everything pork, chicken, turkey, even their mac-n-cheese over oak hardwoods. I went for the sampler platter to try a bit of everything that included baby back ribs with campfire sauce, pulled pork with Kansas City sauce, brisket, smoked turkey, and a turkey brat sausage. The meats were tender and packed with smoky flavor, and the variety of sauces let me mix it up. Classic sliced white bread was served with mine but we tried the jalapeño cornbread, which was a standout, spicy but not overwhelming. The guys got a brisket plate and a pulled pork sandwich. They liked it but I thought the brisket could have been a little moist and tender. Overall the food was good and I will return. Service was friendly, though it got a bit hectic during the lunch rush. The staff was hustling, and you could tell they're still finding their rhythm since opening in early this yesr. I liked that they give back to the community every "Cowboy Cookie" sold donates a portion to Secret Meals for Hungry Kids, a local charity. The atmosphere was lively and the Western decor made it feel like a little piece of Arizona in Alabama. Bottom line: Colt Grill's a great addition to Foley. It's not just another BBQ joint, it's got heart, history, and some seriously good food. My buds and I are already planning our next visit. If you're in the area, check it out and come hungry! I have a few faves like the cheesy mushrooms and the BBQ shrimp, and nowadaya you can't just look at the regular menu. You have to check out their daily specials board because they are constantly knocking it out of the park with creative new dishes and fresh catches. The atmosphere is just even more welcoming, but the outdoor seating is much improved with some sand and stage, perfect for enjoying the coastal breeze. They updated their operating hours too, so they are now open daily from 11 AM to 10 PM. Whether you want to escape the usual tourist trap seafood lines, watch a game on their big screens, or just grab a ice cold beer, or really strong drink, with friendly folks, this place just keeps getting better. If you haven't been by lately, you are seriously missing out. Highly recommended!!! 5/26/26

However, we unfortunately weren't impressed with the flavor. Presentation wise, very fun and cute. The vanilla ice cream however, was not great. It tasted like imitation vanilla, like vanilla extract. Not a fan at all. My husband got a milkshake with m&ms and gummy worms. Mix ins were great... but the ice cream again was just OFF. It didn't taste like a normal chocolate ice cream and we couldn't figure out what was off but something was. Since its establishment earlier this year Milkshake Momma is fast becoming a favorite spot for locals and tourists with their comfort food, unique atmosphere, and over-the-top milkshakes. Founded in Ladonia, Alabama, as part of the Southern Roots Country Store, Milkshake Momma has quickly gained popularity for its delicious comfort food, over-the-top milkshakes, and lively atmosphere. The restaurant's was founded by a group of friends who wanted to create a place where people of all ages could enjoy delicious treats and create fun memories.  While Milkshake Momma currently only has one location in Orange Beach, AL, the restaurant is now offering franchise opportunities to interested entrepreneurs. Their food menu also boasts a variety of tasty options, such as burgers, hot dogs, salads, and funky fries. I've got my eye, for my next visit, on the Outlaw Chili Dog which is a hot dog, topped with mustard, house-made chili, onions, slaw, and pickles, it sounds delish. Also when I'm not being my regularly cheery self I'm coming back for a Cheer Up Buttercup, which has a  Peanut Butter Rim, Vanilla Milkshake or Sundae, Topped with Slice of Cheese Cake, Reese Cups, Reese Pieces, Pretzels Carmel and Whipped Topping, that sounds cheery :-)  I had my first Pistol Pete shake that was quite  enjoyable, and by the way they use Blue Bell Ice Cream here, and I do like their stuff.  Bottom line: Milkshake Momma Burgers and Shakes offers a fun dining experience with its unique atmosphere, delicious comfort food, and over-the-top milkshakes.
