I had a Groupon for $25.00 it only was good for a few weeks and didn't want to loose it so we drove to New Palestine. I read some reviews one said it was next to Subway. Well actually they are both in the same building. Mama Nita's has 7 booth that seat 4 so not much seating. There was a menu board that said all you can eat buffet $5.99 from 11:00 to 4:00. After 4:00 7:49. Kids 2 and under free Kids 10 and under $3.99. Seniors $6.49. Drinks $1.69 So I asked if they sold whole pizza he said yes and showed us a menu. Ok there was a lot of stuff on it. A lot of pizza-sandwiches-wings and other stuff. We ordered the buffet and a 12 inch Mediterranean pizza to go. On the buffet a small salad bar with about 12 different toppings bread sticks with cheese sauce and 6 different pizza. The pizza not bad for a pre-made crust. She to top it off you could pick a ice cream treat from the freezer. Ice cream sandwich-bomb pops or popsicles. If ever in New Palestine we would eat here again. read more

The buffet used to be amazing but that was before the original "new owners" took over. It's terrible now. NOT worth $10. There was hardly any pizza offered and what was there was old. Easily my favorite pizza place in/around the Indianapolis area. The pizza itself is excellent, even when you're eating it cold the next day. The breadsticks have a nice garlic butter and parmesan flavor to them and are always really soft. Everything on the menu is reasonably-priced, especially when you take the good quality of the food into consideration. On top of that, the staff has always been nice in each of our previous experiences. I've honestly got nothing bad to say about them. I'd love it if they opened more locations around Indy, but if they don't, I'll happily continue going out of my way to get them. They're worth the trip. read more

Mana Nita's is a great place to eat pizza and salad with family. The place used to be better before the new owners but that's not saying much. I go this place once a week and have a good meal every time. The service is nice. It is connected to a subway though and I've learned the hard way to not use subways coke machines lol. Got here right at 8:05pm and to my surprise, the cut off for the buffet is 8pm. We asked the person at the counter if it was possible to still get the buffet with what was left (there were still a few mostly full pizzas left!) and the cashier let us participate in the buffet - even at a discounted price! So, today we decided to order for the first time in a while. What a shock. The full salad was somewhat smaller than when we ordered before, but not significantly. But the "half salad" was a joke. It was probably not even a fourth the size of the full. The full salad was $9.99 and the half was $6.99. This is ridiculous. I discovered this awesome little pizza shop quite by accident. I was working in New Pal for a couple of days and at lunchtime my coworker started searching for a Subway. (No, not Subway AGAIN please!) Subs happen to be my coworker's favorite food group and she was driving. Sigh. HOWEVER, as she pulled into the Subway parking lot I saw a sign for Mama Nita's pizza buffet. Next door to Subway! I suggested (ok, demanded) that we check out this buffet. What a cool place! Several varieties of fresh, hot pizza, tasty breadsticks, soup and a fresh salad bar with a nice selection of ingredients. And ice cream for dessert, included with the buffet. The employees were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. They asked what kind of pizza I wanted and I told them I was vegetarian. They asked if there were any veggies I didn't like, and when I said I like all vegetables they made me a pizza that was loaded with veggies. Amazing service for a buffet! The ice cream treats were a nice extra. A freezer full of ice cream sandwiches, single-serve ice cream cups in different flavors as well as other treats! It was very convenient to grab an ice cream sandwich on my way out the door because we had to get back to work. I will definitely return to Mama Nita's the next time I happen to be in or near New Pal. read more

I don't want to give a low score but I had an off experience here. I went to the now closed Fishers location a number of times previously and never had an issue. This was my first time at this location. A suggestion: if you are going to load the buffet full of random, non-requested pizza, it would be a good idea to offer a variety of different types that will appeal to a wide customer base. When I went, there were 6 full pizzas on the buffet, all quite similar - mostly different combinations involving pepperoni and sausage. I think there was probably pepperoni and sausage, pepperoni sausage and hot peppers, sausage, pepperoni and bacon, and maybe a Supreme. I asked them if they can make a philly steak pizza, which is what I always had at the Fishers location. They said no, they can't make that for the buffet because it is too expensive. Ok...can you make just anything else besides what is here? Maybe ground beef and cheddar or anything. They said no, actually they can't make anything else because the buffet is totally full. I ended up eating a bunch of bread sticks and leaving. I'd suggest if you are going to fill the buffet, maybe put out a cheese pizza and a veggie pizza or something in addition to pepperoni and sausage this way there is some variety in case someone comes in who does not like pepperoni and sausage. As we were eating our meal, a barefoot teenage boy came in Mama Nita's and spoke to the employee who was cleaning the buffet. Then the barefoot teen walked behind the counter and into the kitchen to chat with the employee. When he walked out, he stood in front of the buffet area and lifted his foot up to show the employee that he was barefoot. The employee just laughed along with the teen and he continued to walk around both in the pizza parlor and the Subway that is in the same store. The employees from both Mama Nita's and Subway seemed humored by it and no one asked him to leave or put shoes on. His feet were black with dirt on the bottom and we were so grossed out that we bagged up the rest of our meal and left. I think these two restaurants need some adult supervision. Greenfield, IN Location ...1st time visit, We come in, I'm to busy talking to be aware that I was actually *in the way* ... I move and make my way to the pizza buffet. I then noticed the employee and customers. The customer behind me had two children seated directly behind me. A mom, and a pair (male-female) seated across from the buffet, That lady was talking to the employee who seemed to be accommodating to whatever her request was. I devour and instantly fall in love with the pizza. It's a busy afternoon and it showed on the buffet and thru the employees. Again, second time, this lady stands at the end of the counter, to be noticed, until the employee noticed. They talked and he went in the back. Mind you it is busy, and I'm thinking the oven had pizzas in it already. BUT - I decide the guy she is with is an ass, because he snarled his nose at who I then thought was the lady alones kid. BUT - the employee talked to this lady again, again, walked in the back. I'm still diggen this pizza!! It's the best and I commented to my friend, if this shop is the husbands, he is winning the war on locations! It's fabulous. Really enjoy the Chicken Ranchero pizza. It's not your traditional pizza, but still a really good combination. Breadsticks are soft and good-sized. The Greenfield location is awful. We have been here for over 30 minutes and have seen two pizzas and one order of breadsticks (totaling only eight breadsticks). Nobody is touching the second pizza, which appears to be bbq bacon. There are no breadsticks left; one pizza; and several people who have not had one bite of pizza or a breadstick from this PIZZA BUFFET. My family has at least had a few pieces, so we feel bad going up for any more pizza. I understand growing pains, but this is astoundingly bad. Absolutely love this place. I can't believe my boyfriend has never brought me here before. Apparently, there is a risk of becoming morbidly obese because the food is so good. Everyone who works there is super friendly and greeted us the moment we walked in. They offered to make special pizza for us. All you can eat buffet includes drinks. The salad selection was perfect; much better than Subway next door. Sauces are great. Pizza was delicious. I loved everything. This is an awesome local, unique pizza place. They have a buffet every day - they will ask you what kind of pizza you would like them to make for you. The buffet has a fresh, but small, salad bar, along with unlimited ice cream treats for dessert. Their pizza is some of my favorite pizza ever. The bread is sweet and soft, and the tomato sauce is also on the mild and sweet side. They have a great Barbeque chicken pizza, as well as a chicken cordon bleu and a cheeseburger pizza, amongst other specialty pizzas. Like Don said in his review, they keep the buffet stocked the entire time, regardless of how busy they are. Only downside is the seating is fairly limited. They have 2 tvs on, one with sports and one with cartoons for the kids. Highly recommended as a place for families. read more

Not happy with the way things are done. Not consistant with pizza. We try to support local businesses but will not just throw my money away. Everytime we order a pizza to go we get a different sauce and crust. Kids expect consistency and there you don't get it. There are other pizza places to go to that I know what I am getting everytime i order. Maybe the owners of this place buy the cheepest sauce and crust they can find instead of the same brand everytime. I don't know what they do but we are done giving them chances. read more
