One of my favorite places! Staff is excellent and food is delicious - every time! I will always stop in when I'm out this way!

This is now called The Pub and it's gotten better! The reason for no photos is that we were served quickly and it disappeared fast! The specials are usually quite good... chicken and dumplings were delicious. The bacon egg and cheeses on croissant was spot on. Their normal menu has shredded pork sliders with mashed potatoes ... sizable portions that makes me feel like it's definitely worth it! The beer prices are also really reasonable. The service has been excellent. Definitely recommend this pub around the corner from Main Street in New Palestine. read more

Last couple of visit there the food was just plain bad. Sandwich tastes like leftovers out of the fridge. This place has really gone downhill compared to pre-Covid times. 2 stars is probably a bit generous. read more

Great place, literally around the corner from New Pal High School and just off the main drag! Stopped in for a late supper after the Westfield at New Pal Football game! Food & service were great and the live entertainment was top notch too! We had wings, a salad, and the Chicken BLT! And a couple of cold draft beers! Came to visit, while in town and was very pleased. Griffin made one of the better bloody marys we've had and we are pretty picky with them. We followed up with wings, hot Italian sub and cheese shots, served by Chloe. All our food came out pretty quickly, considering they had a FULL house and everything was piping hot and delicious. Portions were very generous and service was great! Also had the pleasure of talking with the new owners Penny and Mark and we could really tell, they are putting their heart and soul, into this place. The ambiance is very nice and friendly for a local sports bar. Our server was excellent and did a wonderful job taking care of our group of friends. The craft beer list was OK for a local sports bar/grill in a small city. I ordered the FDR blood orange blonde and it was nice and light beer. The chicken BLT with tater tots was delicious and tasted wonderful. The loaded potato soup was OK, but nothing to write home about. My friend ordered the fried mushrooms appetizer to share and was very good, and very hot!! New Palestine, IN has some neat restaurants and pubs, and this grill tops the list of places to eat in the city. If you are ever in New Palestine, IN, definitely come to Round corner grill for lunch or dinner. read more

I went to visit my parents, and the restaurant we originally were going to try was closed on Sunday. So we tried this nearby restaurant as there are not many other options in this rural area. It was set up like a sports bar, lots of TVs, and super loud music where the sound was bouncing off the walls. It was so difficult to hear one another. One of my filet sliders had gristle in it, so i was yucked out. The broccoli was fine, unsalted, so I added some seasonings that were at the table. It seems like they are more known for their pizza, so that might be better if we were to ever return. The saving grace for this review was the customer service of our waiter. read more

Ended up here by accident tonight and had the best food and even greater service. Griffin is one of the greatest servers I've ever had anywhere. Go visit and ask for Griffin and check out his tattoo it's incredible and so is he. I'll for sure be back to see my favorite server Griffin. read more

For a town as small as New Palestine, I think they should anticipate busy lunchtimes as there are not many restaurants to eat at. My dad and I entered Round the Corner Grill at about 2pm on a Thursday to find it packed. I don't believe it was the rush of people that made it so packed, it was the fact that almost no orders had been taken and no food was on the tables. We sat ourselves and waited about 30 minutes and saw a waiter 1 time and she was just bringing water to a table. After waiting for awhile, we still had no water and had not been greeted or in any way acknowledged by a single employee. My dad had to get to work by 4pm so we had to just leave. It was very frustrating and definitely will not be coming back for lunch. read more

Yes, I recommend this place. It's a small out-of-the-way place you wouldn't even know it was there unless you turned on Bentner road to go wherever that road goes. Which is the country and nowhere! It's been closed for several weeks. However, I think for interior renovations, but nothing is posted on the door so when you walk to the door it's locked you won't get in. read more

Drink and food are delicious ! They have a wonderful chicken quesadilla that comes with aeoli sauce that is to die for. Their chicken wings with their signature sauce is great too! We order ours double cooked easy on the sauce and they get it right every time. The service is great both at tables and at the bar. The place is family friendly for kids to eat early evening, they also have outdoor seating. The inside is your typical bar with tvs everywhere and Dragon memorabilia on the walls. Good food not great. Had tomato basil soup to start and it was clearly microwaved to warm up. I did not care for it and I hate microwaves in restaurants. My entree was the beef Manhattan. I liked it but didn't love it. Large portion though and reasonably priced. Service was great though. I'll try something else next time and see if it is any better. read more

Love this place! As a sports fan this is my go to place to watch a game' they remodeled with several large screen TV's and they take their sports seriously (which I love), also the food is top notch! Pizza, wings, smash burgers the tenderloin melts in your mouth! Highly recommended for anyone who wants to watch their favorite team, relax and have some great food and drinks! read more

We enjoyed Round The Corner Grill on Friday night. There were 5 of us and we all had different orders. I had a salad and soup. The salad was good and so was the soup. I wasn't that hungry. My hubby had wings and and found no feathers... always a plus!! The sauce was good and he really liked the Blue Cheese. They were skimpy witH the celery..2 pieces. Daughter had boneless wings with Parm cheese, she really loved it. Tender! BLT and Club were had by Son in law and Grandson. They really liked theirs too. We will be coming back. read more

It is a bit noisy at times and has outdoor seating which is an option when you want a bit of quiet. Great place and Megan is the best bartender around she works on Saturday's. I was getting acclimated to the area when my roommate suggested we check out this place. She had mentioned it was in the old post office building, which I had imagined being a bit more Norman Rockwell but it looked more like a pole barn from the outside. Inside however, the interior was interesting with a large A-framed ceiling with strategically placed soundproof tiles and a large mural of the nearby Indiana Downs horse track. Television sets dotted the room with different channels ranging from sports (mostly) to news and alt/country playing on the loudspeakers. Nothing shocking. The menu had some pretty good selections and I opted for the sirloin with potato and a side of asparagus. My roommate decided to have the tenderloin. We decided to have a beer while waiting for our 'om-noms' to arrive and I was a bit disappointed to find out they didn't have taps. I thought that was a qualification for being called a 'pub' but hey, beer is beer and bottles were brought to us fast and cold. The salad bar was small, hard to get to and not a lot to look at. My steak was cooked nicely, wasn't over seasoned and was mighty tasty. (I'm a stickler about my steaks - sorry vegan friends.) The potato didn't make the mental Rolodex but the asparagus got a thumbs down. It was overcooked and slimy with oil and indistinguishable spices. I made a mental note: "don't order asparagus at a pub." Odds are no one out here orders it and it most likely stews all day. My roommate's tenderloin was the size of her head and the bun was really fresh. We both ate off that thing for two days - well worth it! I am happy to report that everything we ordered arrived hot and with a smile. I think I'll just try a different side next time. A couple seated next to us had ordered one of the pub pizzas and we hovered over shoulders to investigate this impressive pie. Imagine two quiches stacked on top of each other and covered in cheese. Easy to guess what our next purchase was! They don't offer delivery but these pies are worth getting excited about picking up. The first pie was easily 8 + pounds of cheese and toppings - they do a 10" at $10.95 and a 16" at $16.95 and that includes any and all toppings they have! If you're out this way, you have to order one (with extra sauce is best). Just remember, it's big enough! You don't need no stinkin' bread sticks. read more

This restaurant is kind of like a sports bar. Standing room only during sporting events. Also a hangout for the locals. Service is really great at the bar. There are 2 really outstanding bartenders Kristi and Loretta these ladies know how to mix a mean cocktail. They also carry a wide selection local beers. The pizza is the best in town! read more
