Solid pizza but getting it delivered has not been a good experience. Ordered and they said it would be an hour... we are at hour two and still no pizza. The gal on the phone was helpful and nice. It's a relief when you ask questions and get knowledgeable answers. Hometown Classic Pizza has the best wings in Greenfield! They are meaty and a very nice portion. Their staff are so helpful when you call to order and the delivery service is one of the best! Usually the order arrives a little earlier than they promise and it is hot still when we sit down to enjoy! Great for Sunday night football!! We went on a Monday night. It was slow per usual for a Monday night. The service was prompt. The decor is so much fun! There are movie posters everywhere along with cassette tapes and 8-track tapes and random CDs and dvds. The pizza though! Oh my goodness, it was so good. I just got my usual sausage pepperoni. They have the crumbly sausage which is my very favorite. The sauce was really good and there was plenty of it. It was not sweet which is something that gets on my nerves. It was hot and fresh and tasted absolutely amazing. My friend ordered some breadsticks and the deluxe pizza those breadsticks were really good. They have that good jalapeno flavored cheese sauce. She loved her deluxe pizza but she knew she would. She's the one that suggested this place to me and I am so glad that we went. read more

The pizza is good as is the location. It is easy to get in and out of. We have only picked up pizza we have never eaten inside and are orders always correct, hot , and ready to go when we arrive. I am gluten intolerant and it is one of the only pizza places in town to serve gluten free. With that being said it would be nice to get a larger size as 10" is the only size they sell if you can't eat gluten. read more

This place is great! They have a large variety in pizzas and they all taste fantastic. I love that they put the cheese on top of the "toppings". Makes everything ooey gooey. Only three stars as sometimes the pizza is just "Ok". We order takeout pretty often, and the majority of the time we have no issues. However, one time we did wait over an hour and a half past our expected "ready by" time. That was pretty ridiculous. We have been back since then and have not had the same issue. read more

We drove into town tonight with the only intention being to try this place. Reviews are awesome. Loved it before when it was downtown Greenfield, but tried it at the new location. It's not open for dine in, but we went there, placed the order then drove around while we waited. Greenfield is our hometown, so we drove around, being nostalgic, looking at our first place,.etc. fun. We went back and picked it up. We live about 28 miles away. We ordered breadsticks and a deluxe pizza. We ate the breadsticks on the way home. They were HOT and soft and wonderful!!!!! They were very airy, not super dense and just great!!! When we got home, we opened the pizza box and oh goodness. It was covered in cheese and looked wonderful. The crust was thin, but light and crispy. The flavor was wonderful and so much different than every other pizza place. Unique spices, but authentic Italian tastes. Loaded with toppings and smothered in cheese. We will certainly make the 28 miles (one way) to get this pizza again. So glad they got this reopened!!!! Not another "chain" pizza store in this small town. read more

Tonight was my first time at this restaurant. I have seen their ads in the monthly mailers that come around so I decided to give them a try. I am very disappointed. 1. Value - You will not find it here. The prices are 25% higher than similar items at Domino's or Papa John's (example - HCP 16" 5 meats for $27.00, Domino's 16" Meatzza for $19.99, Papa John's XLNY 4 meats for $18.49). Even the prices at New Bethel Ordinary are lower (16" Large all meat for $25.79). 2. Food quality - marginal at best. The crust on my pizza was a prefab type that tasted pasty and bland. This clearly was not made using fresh dough. When I bit into it, the crust was so brittle that it literally broke apart in my hand. 3. Appearance - the tops of both pizzas I ordered tonight were burnt and that flavor permeated everything. The charcoal taste was very unpleasant. The only real plus was that my order was completed right on time according to my web notifications. As for the dining atmosphere, I carried out so I cannot comment on the ambiance. Based on how things went this time I sincerely doubt that I will return to this pizza place anytime soon. read more

Pizza joint that can't do delivery. Don't bother. I was hoping this would be a cool treat for my kiddos while Mom was away. Phone was constantly busy. Maybe a good sign. When I got through, I was quoted a two hour delivery time. The website did say something about longer deliveries and it would put it a little past normal dinner time but figured it must be good! Three hours later, I called 12 times (constantly busy phone) to get back through to check on the status of my order. THEY HADN'T STARTED IT YET!!! I told them to cancel it and they said, "Ok!" The delivery driver called 20 min later saying he was ringing our doorbell but no one was answering. It's because my kiddos were piled into the car while we drove to Little Caesar's. Would love to comment on value or anything but can't. If you want to support local that delivers, just go to Mozzis. It's clear Hometown only delivers because they feel like they have to. This place is amazing. The crispy crust, the pizza sauce, and the thick cheese makes the pizza amazing. All the decorations on the walls are nice. The place isn't that big, but you get a big surprise when you walk in. All the arcade games in there just adds more toppings onto it. The last time I went there, 1 week ago, they sat with me and my family quickly. The waitress was always checking up on us to see if we needed anything, and after we ordered we got our food in like 10 minutes. After I ate, we got up and played arcade games with my cousins. Hometown Classic Pizza is an example of a restaurant that deserves every bit of praise. Pizza is delicious. I just brought home a medium Deluxe, no mushrooms, extra cheese. $18, and worth every cent. Sliced in squares, the way I like my pizza cut, and ate one slice, It seriously almost filled me up. And, I'm a big guy. Only 15 more slices to go. Great crust. Sauce is just right. Ingredients are fresh and plentiful. Service was notably impressive. The young man who prepared my pizza watched intently while I opened the box to check it out. I commented "Looks Perfect ..." We have been reading a lot about this place since they recently reopened in their new space. Tonight we thought we'd give them a try and let me tell you it was amazing!! My wife called ahead to see how long the wait would be for carry out and we were surprised that we were told 30 minutes. I swung by on my way home and our order was ready when I pulled up right about 30 minutes after ordering! The pizza was one of the best we have ever eaten, the wings were amazing and the breadsticks were awesome!! Hometown is now likely our go to pizza spot! They may have had a bit of a rocky start when they opened their new location, but the definitely seem to have recovered strong!!! read more

Definitely worthy of all 5 stars. Staff was great as was all the food! We tried the breadsticks, wings and chicken bacon ranch pizza and it was all yummy, even the cheese for the breadsticks. This would be an ideal spot for school field trips, birthday parties, family get togethers etc... It's a huge place with pool tables, video games and the kitchen is open concept, so you can watch your pizza being made. Our first visit. It's in an old historic building on town square, which is really cool IMO! The food was good too. We had cheese pizza, a deluxe pizza, BBQ sandwich, and boneless wings. Besides the food, the place is really kid friendly. Board games and old school arcade games are there to entertain. Overall this would be an awesome place to come for a large group (7-10). Staff was friendly and the place is clean. If you are thinking about giving it a shot I would say go for it!! read more

I can't be the first person to ever use yelp menu to attempt order. I finally told her that I only have yelp menu which is clearly wrong. Her response l, " yep."
