We've given this place multiple chances because we truly wanted to like it -- it's close to home and one of the only dining options in the area -- but after our most recent visits, this will unfortunately be our last time. Last week we stopped in for lunch and it was not crowded, yet the same issue happened again (as noted in my previous review): our appetizer and salads never came out. After 49 minutes, our entrées were brought by a food runner who dropped them at the table and rushed off before we could even explain that we were still missing items. When our server finally checked back, there was little concern about the missing food -- only that the bill would be adjusted. There was no offer to bring the items we had ordered. This has happened to us repeatedly, to the point where it feels like appetizers are either not being entered into the system or are getting lost in the kitchen. A few weeks earlier at dinner, we waited an extremely long time for our meals only to flag down our waitress, who then told us -- with a look of panic -- that she had forgotten to put our order in. What's most surprising is that during any of these visits we have never once seen or been approached by a manager to check on the situation or apologize. It's really disappointing because we like the atmosphere and the location is convenient, but dining here has become stressful because we've come to expect that part of our order simply won't arrive. I sincerely hope Tony D's takes a look at their ordering and kitchen communication process, as well as floor management presence, because the potential is there -- but the execution consistently falls short. We wish them the best and hope to hear that things improve. read more

We ate breakfast here recently and the breakfast food is always very good & the prices reasonable. The service is always good also. But the coffee is not very good. Went to Tony D's on Sunday afternoon at 1pm. The wait was about 20 minutes which is expected at lunch time on a Sunday. We were sat in a booth and ordered quickly within 10 minutes of being sat down- our server was Melody I believe. After waiting around 40 minutes for our entrees Melody came over and let us know that she wasn't sure what happened to our order. She said that she remembers putting them in but they just weren't there. She said she would get our orders again and make sure they rushed the order coming out. (Also I had ordered an entree that comes with a side salad and you would think after 20 minutes of that not coming out she would check on the ticket but that didn't happen until 40 minutes after ordering.) We would have said something about the long wait but she hardly checked on us. My mom waited for lemons for her water for the first hour we were there. When our food finally did come out it was all terrible and we all got something different. A majority of the family left whole plates of food uneaten. My Cajun chicken pasta tasted like literal vomit. The meatloaf had pieces of fat. (Fatty hamburger how?) The kids pizza had no flavor and barely any sauce- it tasted like wax. The chicken and dumplings were bland and the chicken was gross. The brisket on the beef manhattan tasted burnt and we ordered it with extra gravy and had to ask for more even with the extra gravy. The Philly cheesesteak was the same- burnt When our check came the server told us she comped off the appetizer and gave us a 20% discount. After looking at the receipt I saw that she had charged us for two of everything (only ordered one) and the bill was $70 overcharged. Overall I was excited to come here but will not be returning. This restaurant is set up to be a great addition to the New Pal scene. The menu is decent, featuring your staple sandwiches, wings, and burgers, but tosses in some homestyle options like steak, tenderloin, Meatloaf, and stuffed bell peppers. I'm intrigued by the tenderloin and will try it next time, but tonight we decided to be basic . Pizza and wings it is! We started with the Pickle fries- these were tasty and came out piping hot. The highlight is Tony Ds Sweet Heat sauce! Seriously they need to bottle and sell it. My husband about drowned himself in it!! The boneless wings were good quality, they had a delicate coating. Definitely not your standard, frozen, deep fried, hard pieces. These were super tasty! I wasn't a fan of the Sauces we tried - honey, Carolina bbq, Mango habanero. But that's ok,the wings were good. Next up, pizza... I'm a fan. We did standard pepperoni and sauasage. It could've had more sausage, but overall, it was done well. Oh! And give the cocktail menu a go! They feature Old Smokey Moonshine. I had Dragon Breath and was in love! Even my husband liked it and he's not a drinker. This place could be a cocktails and food spot EASILY! and maybe they'll add in live music on some weekends. So why the 4 star? Well, they were out of a lot of items, servers didn't clear used plates until the end of the meal, and food was delayed coming out. Extremely slow. Our server was very unprofessional and not personable. After 45 minutes of waiting for food, and the place was not even full I asked him how much longer for our food. His response was it'll be out when it's out. I asked another person to go. Check to see if our food was ready. They went in the back and said it is ready. I found someone else who could bring it out to us. When they brought it out, it was cold to the touch. it had been sitting on the counter for at least 20 minutes. When I mentioned it to our server, his response was whatever I don't believe you. The two hostesses were phenomenal, exceptional, and amazing! It's sad that you can't hire under 18 year olds to be servers who actually have a desire to work! Just want to start off and say how awesome this place was! Perfect place to sit down and have dinner with the family or to even go and have a few drinks and watch a football game. Very inviting environment. Pretty clean space! Loved the décor on the walls with some touches of the area they are placed in. Very homey environment! There was also very friendly staff that make you feel like family! Lots of smiling faces and can tell that these employees truly love what they are doing and have fun with each other as well as their customers!  Lots of fun interactions with our server, Crystal! The owner came over quite a few times to check on us and to make sure we were enjoying everything! The service we received was quick and very efficient with getting food and drinks out.   We started with an appetizer, which came out super quick. We ordered Pretzel Bites. The dish was packed with pretzel bites and had a beer cheese with it that was to die for! Super creamy and just was a great start to a meal. I ordered the Dragon's Breath cocktail. It was sweet but still super tasty! I ordered the Breaded Chicken Wrap and it was delicious! The juiciest crispy chicken with bacon and cheese. I ordered this with a few modifications since I am a picky eater and they were more than happy to fix it up for me! It came with a side of fries that were pretty crispy and had just the right amount of seasoning on them! I thought that all of the dishes were pretty reasonably priced as well. For a two-person meal, with an appetizer, two alcoholic beverages a piece, and two entrees, the bill was about $60. We loved the food and service so much! Erika P. Was our awesome server and she made my mom and I's night! Our food took a bit but with a new establishment you should expect that. To make up for it Erika brought us their homemade apple pie. Y'all it was the best pie I've EVER had. Don't skip on dessert. My mother loved her Ruben and I thought the steak was decent. We moved to this wonderful little town a few months ago and have been Tony D's several times, always having decent food and great service. We went there last night and sat in the bar where we always sit. As we sat there for 10 minutes or so, we watched what appeared to be the only waitress for the area take an order for a table that came in AFTER we did and she continued to totally ignore us. Tony D's was exactly what I expected. Er stopped in to try out their breakfast. The service was great. The portion sizes were perfect and the prices were very good for the amount of food we got. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was delivered to our table correctly and quickly. I'm a nut about chocolate milk and everyone has different kinds... I actually loved theirs. The omelet was the perfect mix of egg, meat and cheese. I can't wait to try their lunch/dinner menu. My daughter actually commented that she wanted the beef Manhattan to go . Service was actually very good which usually isn't the case for a new restaurant. The fried pickle fries were also very good. Skip the boneless wings. Zero flavor and were basically the same as Around The Corner's wings. Dry and chewy. My wife and I had 2 cocktails each, shared pickle fries, and boneless wings. My 2 kids split a kids meal and we ordered an extra side of fries. So no one ordered their own entree and the total was $100 for lunch! read more

After all of the mixed reviews I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was very pleasantly surprised. Though the restaurant seemed very busy, we were a seated immediately. Our server was at our table within a minute or two to take our drink orders. Kids drinks came about 4 minutes later and drinks from the bar very shortly after. We all liked our food. I got pizza, it was pretty good, nothing crazy special, but as good as any pizza in New Pal. My husband expected his Bourbon BBQ bacon cheese burger to have slices of bacon on it, but the bacon was in the bourbon bbq sauce. He liked it anyway and mentioned it was cooked well. Our girls both liked their meals. We will absolutely be back. Edit: I'd like to add that a recent review mentioned being a fan of the pizza and they could have used more sausage. The sirloin was delicious and the Mac and cheese was amazing the service was great love the place and I'm coming again.

We finally decided to give Tony D'a a try. We knew the wait could be long but didn't expect to wait an hour for our steak. We found that when a gal asked us if we had a to go order that our steak was in the carry out bag. We where sitting in a booth why would she think we ordered to go. After steak did finally did arrive it was over cooked, definitely not medium rare. They probably pulled the steak out of the to go bag once they figured it out and grilled it again. Pass on the Fire Roasted Brussel Spouts, they were rock hard and no favor. The green beans were okay. We will try again, maybe the chicken wings next time. read more

I had the BBQ Bourban Bacon Burger and it was insane it had a peach bbq sauce and Maple bacon glaze, it was delicious. My dad loved the Garlic Parm boneless wings, My Mom and and Brother had the tenderloin and I also tried some of it and was seasoned perfectly and was thick and juicy! My Mother in-law tried the chicken and dumplings and really liked it. We had fried pickles and cheese curds for appetizers and they were phenomenal! This place is a hidden gem. The breakfast menu reads like most American breakfast menus, and that's not a negative, but I could leave you wondering, "why did I come here?". I'm a fan of Chicken & Waffles, but many times that I've ordered this at other places I was left wondering who is the star here??? I decided to give Tony D's a chance to reveal which was first, the Chicken or the Waffle? The waffle was very good, not too thin, not to thick and great flavor. Then there is the Chicken...hand cut, hand breaded, and mouth watering...sadly neither was the star...both worked well together, but the star of the dish was the Spiked Honey! It had enough heat to peak my taste buds but was perfectly balanced with the sweetness. I will be back! read more

Have been going to Tony D's for over a year and have always enjoyed the food and good servers. We have noticed lately that they are hiring under 18 year old kids that don't want to work and can get rude with the customers. We went on a Friday evening and it was pretty crowded but we decided to wait for a table and it would be 10-15 minutes. As we were waiting, we noticed that there were some tables available and thought well maybe they are short staffed. But these 2 guys came in, asked if they could go sit at a table that was empty in the bar area and they didn't wait for the hostess to answer and just went on and took that table. We inquired with the hostess why they let these 2 guys just walk in and take that table when there were many other people waiting to be seated. The hostess started to get upset with us and said we were yelling at them and we were not. One of the other hostess's said they do not have a walk in, seat yourself policy and all must be seated by a hostess. But nothing was said to these 2 guys and one of the hostess's actually took the menu over to them like nothing was wrong. We then asked to speak to the manager twice. He finally came out and asked what the problem was. We explained what all had happened and he said that they do not allow walk in's to seat themselves. But he was not going to confront the guys because he didn't want a confrontation with them. So, that showed us that management doesn't enforce that policy and that was a slap in the face to everyone still waiting to be seated. We then left and will never go back. It is a real shame because we really liked going there, but this was not handled professionally. read more

If you come in this place ,do not expect to be able to use the free WI-FI,because no one that works there has a clue on how to log into it.The waitress kept going back,and asking how to access it,but after 5 or 6 different passwords,nothing was able to connect.We had a 3 month old 2000 dollar lap top,with all the latest bells and whistles,but no one knew what to do. read more
