    Buffalo Wings

New York style pizza is my favorite and they do it right at Mia Pizzeria! We got takeout and ordered 5 buffalo wings, and 2 10-inch pizzas: the vegetarian deluxe pizza and a 2-topping pizza with sausage and banana peppers. We ate the latter before I could get a pic. Both were delicious, not greasy and they were generous with the toppings. The wings were super tasty as well. If you like mild sauce, they may be a bit too spicy for you - they only offer one type of buffalo sauce that seems to be a medium. I tend to be more sensitive to spicy food and they weren't too spicy for me, but if you are very sensitive I would go with another wing sauce. Service was quick and friendly. It is located in a strip mall so there is plenty of parking. I'm already looking forward to ordering another vegetarian deluxe soon!

I was craving a stromboli here they called it calzone. The staff was nice, the place was clean. We loved our impromptu date night watching pawn stars and enjoying our amazing food.

I'd been wanting to stop in at Mia Pizzeria ever since I caught wind that they'd be opening up in this strip center. I was expecting them to open up in the spot previously occupied by both Luca and Buona, however, I was wrong and Mia popped up in the middle of the strip center on the side facing Shadeland. They're right next to Alis Taqueria. In terms of accessibility, you're better off parking at one of the ends of the building as this strip center doesn't have any accessible areas in the middle. I parked down by Lincoln Square and had no problems getting to Mia. Mia is a relatively small New York-style pizzeria that sells both slices and whole pies along with subs, sandwiches, salads, and a handful of other options. The glass door entryway leads into a dining area with an ordering counter right behind that. They also have lunch specials, though they were also available for dinner. For example, I got a slice of pepperoni, 3 breadsticks (plain or pepperoni), and a regular sized fountain drink (Coke products, no iced tea option). I paid right about $9.95 as I recall. I believe the owner, Juan, was in-house this evening. Two teens were also working (My guess is his kids but I could be wrong). The young girl, in particular, was delightfully personable - the young male was fine but more of an introvert. They do also have some bottled drink options including water. My guess is the dining room seats around 25-30 at several tables. They're pretty well situated - I'm not sure I'd say truly accessible, but it's easily adapted to be accessible. They also have a wide-screen television on the wall. The interior is bright and cheerful and clean. How was it? Quite good. Maybe not quite five-star - I thought the pepperoni breadsticks tasted like they'd been out for a bit, though they were very warm and I still enjoyed them. The pizza slice was quite good and I'd easily take it over Luca or Buona. It had a bit of a kick to it. The service was friendly and helpful. There was a steady stream of customers - most doing takeout, though a couple others did dine in. Overall, I'd say this is a VERY solid 4-star experience and I'll definitely return. The service was great, the food was very good, the prices were fair, the atmosphere was inviting, and I'm definitely a fan of pizza by-the-slice. I'll likely try different bread options at some point - I'm a garlic bread freak and will have to try theirs at some point. Mia Pizzeria is locally owned and definitely worthy of our support.

We love Mia Pizzeria! My boyfriend is what you might call a real pizza snob - or rather connoisseur - and NY style is his absolute favorite. This place passes the test, his new favorite locally-owned pizza place. In a word: excellent. I loved the white pizza and breadsticks and marinara sauce. Everything was ready at the same time and didn't take very long. Service was friendly. We will definitely be back, and I can't wait.

I was recently working in the area and decided to try Mia Pizzeria based on their great reviews, they did not disappoint!! I believe the owners were working that day, they were very nice and polite. The seating availability is limited, well kept and clean. I ordered the lunch special, a slice of pizza with 3 breadsticks (plain or stuffed with pepperoni) with dipping Sauce, and a drink all for UNDER $10!! Everything was delicious. The pizza crust had a nice crunch to it, the sticks were loaded with pepperoni, and the jalapeño cheese dip has a nice spice to it. Next time I'm in the area will be stopping back for seconds!

Locally owned NY style pizza in the neighborhood - sign me up! Great pepperoni pizza and breadsticks. Next time, I am coming back for the garlic parm sticks and a lunch special. They serve Coke products. The staff was very friendly! Most folks were doing takeout. There is a seating area if you want a fresh pie.

Good little spot to grab a slice. Nice people. Crust is good and the slices have a nice "stability" to them. No frills, good pizza for sure.

We went at 12:45 on a Thursday afternoon. We had a large group and were told it was about a thirty minute wait (which was fine). The food was good. I'm not a huge fan of Chicago style deep dish pizza but I hadn't had it in a few years. The crust was ok but not flaky enough. The sauce had a good tomato flavor and a bit on the chunky side. There were only a few pieces of sausage and the cheese was not very noticeable in the flavor profile. My Caesar salad was very good with lots of Parmesan cheese. The service left a lot to be desired. I'm not being critical of our server but rather the overall management of the service. They were very understaffed as servers were taking orders, bringing food and drinks, and clearing tables. The food came out of the kitchen slow. And there was one person (who I assume was a manager) who stood around with his arms folded, biting his nails, and doing nothing to help the servers. I'm sorry but if you are short staffed, roll up your sleeves and help clear tables or bring drinks. He did nothing while the servers ran from place to place. In the end, the food was ok but our experience lacked efficient service and I wouldn't go back to this Giordano's location again. There are a lot of other options in the area.

It's all made fresh to order, so it took a bit of time to come out, but that's exactly why it tasted so good: fresh ingredients, a crisp thin crust that stays sturdy under the toppings, and great flavor throughout. With many toppings to choose from and a good beer and wine selection, there's a ton to explore here, and it's very vegetarian-friendly, too. The service sealed the deal for us. The staff was extremely friendly and kind, and our waitress was the highlight.
