horrible horrible horrible do not get from this place the quality is horrible the prices are not worth it wish i could get my money back got a meat lovers and everything tasted frozen and cheap !

    Italian Hero!
    Lantz A.

This place is awful. I previously ordered a lentil soup from here and was very dissatisfied. Today I ordered their Italian hero. The price was $.8.95 for the sand which. I also bought a can of Diet Coke. The total came out to $13.83. When I asked "why so much,...how"?, the guy told me because I asked for lettuce, tomatoes and mayonnaise, salt, pepper and vinegar. The bread was on the borderline of being stale, there was hardly any mayo. If I said that the sandwich was "mid", I'd be up for the Nobel peace prize! I'll never go back!

Eggplant Parm - I had to add seasoning to give it flavor.

My son LOVES their pizza however, I feel in the past year it has changed tremendously and that may be due to new ownership. The sauce doesn't taste the same to me anymore, so I don't feel it's the best in town anymore. I decided to try an entree and went with the eggplant parm which I admit, I normally order from Da Mario's in town, but they're closed on Sunday. So, I gave Mama's a try and can say I won't bother again. The eggplant wasn't flavorful, had no breading which I don't mind but their version needed it. The cheese was sliced mozzarella and very little of it - I prefer a cheesier platter personally. When I took the lid off it didn't look appealing and upon first bite, it definitely needed seasoning to be added which I did. At least the salad was decent.

    Margherita Pie
    Tina C.

I tried the Margherita Pizza- below average pie, nothing special about the sauce or crust. I also had a tiramisu cup, which was frozen and tasted nothing like tiramisu. Street parking, quick turnaround after ordering. Prices are high for the lackluster quality. It's edible, and if you needed something quick, it's there. In such a large area, I'm sure there are better pizza places around.

Pizza was prepared at a timely manner. It wasn't my favorite, the sauce didn't taste freshly made but it was cheesy enough.

Guy seemed overwhelmed and reluctantly took my order. I showed up 30 min later and no one had any record of my order. I recognized the guy's voice and told him he took my order. He was pissed and got into a shouting match with me with 3 other customers around. He eventually apologized and offered a free side of meatballs and spaghetti (don't order that btw, super underwhelming). 2nd time: Wife placed an order for a pie with half pepperoni on their website. Came back with the order and the pie had full toppings. Small nit but annoying. 3rd time: I called at 6pm on a Thursday. No one picked up. Opted to place order on their website and got the same item as last time. Showed up at and the same miserable guy asked for my name and order... and then said he didn't have any order. I told him I placed an order on the website... and he said "You should have called." with an awful (only a mother can love) grin. I showed him my email confirming 6:20pm pickup time and he said he had no order... before pulling a pie with my name on it. I asked if it had half pepperoni and it didn't. Full toppings AGAIN. Clearly, their website is not equipped to actually take half toppings orders. Pizza is OK but not worth the headache or poor service here.

I love a slice of pizza that has the crunchy bottom and the pepperoni is charred and cupped. Their white slice is good too. If you want that crunch but not too crunchy come here for a late night slice. They have pastas and sandwiches but never had it. Maybe one day. Pros: - Quick and friendly service - Crunch bottom pizza slices for those who love eating it this way - Opens late on the weekends until 2am - Want coffee?? Dunkin is next door but they close a lot earlier than here Cons: - Limited seating area - Small parking lot but late night there's always a spot Come check them out for a late night slice!

For food, we decided to order a bunch of things to share: -Zucchini fritte (with lemon aioli dipping sauce) - this was thin and perfectly crispy but somehow not oily. It was addicting -Arancini - these were okay. Could have used more meat -Margherita pizza - can't go wrong with a margherita. I do wish the actual crust was thinner -Meatball & Co pizza (meatballs, sweet sausage, cherry peppers, tomato sauce, mozzarella & ricotta cheese) - same with the crust situation. The description also said cherry peppers but they also added jalapenos, which is not a big deal - just a call out. The sausage was alright -Seafood fra Diavolo (sauteed clams, calarami, mussels, spicy tomato sauce) - sauce could have used a bit more spice. They don't skimp on the seafood though. I was pleasantly surprised by the calamari, which can taste rubberband-y but that wasn't the case here -Tiramisu - tasted fridgey/supermarket-bought -Affogato - a nice way to end the meal. Made me wonder why I don't make more affogatos at home Overall, it the meal was fine. Is it something I'd crave for? I don't think so. Well, maybe except that zucchini fritte. I wouldn't mind ordering that again. Tip - BYOB (there's a liquor store across the street)

The restaurant is casual, has music playing and an open dining room. There were a lot of families with young kids on a Saturday night. The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We started with "ma's meatballs, which were good. I especially liked the sauce. I got the seafood Fra Diavolo over spaghetti which was very good. All the seafood was fresh and I only left the shells. My date got the chicken Romano, which was served with a spicy rigatoni vodka and burrata. Her dish was so good and a very generous portion. I also loved that it was a BYO - seems like there are less and less of these type of restaurants these days. I will definitely go back to try some of the other appetizers and entrees. Go check it out!

We ordered via telephone and picked our items up and brought them home. The main event was the meatball parm sandwich. The best meatball parm sandwich I have had. Meatballs were fresh and perfectly seasoned. Not the usual "hard meatballs" you get from a pizza place. Sauce was plentiful and had a great kick to it. Add to it the perfect sound of mozzarella and a sprinkle of parmesan. Absolutely out of this world. The bread, which can ruin a great sandwich, was equally as good. Perfect crisp to the Italian bread. And yes, it was consistent. We ordered 3 meatball sandwiches and 1 sausage sandwich and EVERYONE commented on the bread as well. We also got a Brooklyn Pie. The pie wasn't my speed. A little doughy but I would like to try a traditional round. Again, not my style and we went solely for the meatballs but grabbed a pie as an extra. If you're in the area, you have to try it. If you're an hour away, you still have to try it.
